And it reduces the judgement of the sample. But the evaluation standard of this method only considers the importance of a single attribute which is relative to the result of the decision while calculating the importance of the attribute. It ignores the influence of the interaction between the attributes on the result of decision. So this paper sets up the new evaluation standard which is considered the influence of the attributes, and a forward greedy feature selection algorithm is constructed. Experiments show that the proposed algorithm can not only select fewer features, but also improve the accuracy of the classification.","PeriodicalId":184905,"journal":{"name":"2016 8th International Conference on Information Technology in Medicine and Education (ITME)","volume":"52 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121908044","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A 60-year-old female patient was diagnosed with MTC and PTC after right hemithyroidectomy. The extreme rarity of this pathological feature is discussed. While immunohistochemistry for calcitonin and thyroglobulin suggested histogenesis, cytopathology of the biopsy confirmed MTC and PTC. The coexistence of MTC and PTC differs from the most common mixed tumours as both tumors occurred in the single tissue. In conclusion, this case report not only can improve the clinical diagnosis rate of rare cases, but also can avoid reoperation of the patients, and improve survival and the quality of life.","PeriodicalId":184905,"journal":{"name":"2016 8th International Conference on Information Technology in Medicine and Education (ITME)","volume":"91 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124674922","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper presents a method of fire and smoke detection based on Surendra background and gray bitmap plane algorithm. In our method, the dynamic background based on Otsu adaptive threshold and Surendra background first is modeled, and then the moving target is extracted by the continuous cumulative average of moving target area and the mathematical morphology processing method, the smoke area is extracted by color feature, and finally the fire area is extracted by OHTA color space and gray bitmap plane algorithm. The experimental results show that our method can effectively detect the fire area in the moving vehicle scene, the red plastic bag waving scene, the red balloon fluttering scene, or the moving vehicle similar to fire color.","PeriodicalId":184905,"journal":{"name":"2016 8th International Conference on Information Technology in Medicine and Education (ITME)","volume":"57 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124766316","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These patients often have dry mouth, taste loss, severe tooth decay, pain, inflammation of the oral mucosa. Nowadays, as the biological sciences development, a variety of new treatments continue to emerge. Wherein the gene therapy has become a research hotspot. This Technique provides a convenient method for animal experiments and clinical gene therapy. Using viral vectors transfecting subm-andibular–salivary gland to expresse hEPOS, hGH, etc[1] provide a broader space for this technique. Positive preclinical gene therapy results have been shown in models of salivary gland diseases such as Sjögrens Syndrome and in acquired conditions such as xerostomia secondary to ionizing radiation of the head and neck. In the overall context of increasing evidence from human clinical trials that gene therapy is safe and effective, including a first-in-man trial involving salivary gland gene transfer (ClinicalTrials.gov number NCT00372320), therapeutic gene transfer to the human salivary gland appears to be close to becoming a practicable reality. I have engaged in this field for nearly a year and have made some technology improvements. Here I want to share my experience.","PeriodicalId":184905,"journal":{"name":"2016 8th International Conference on Information Technology in Medicine and Education (ITME)","volume":"928 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127018171","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Some MRI experiments are conducted to show the effectiveness of Shinnar-Le Roux algorithm by comparing the difference between SLR pulsed slice profile and SINC pulsed slice profile. The experimental results indicates that the slice profile of SLR pulse has smaller ripples and is more uniform than SINC pulse. By reducing the interference of slices, the SLR pulse can improve the imaging quality to a great extent.","PeriodicalId":184905,"journal":{"name":"2016 8th International Conference on Information Technology in Medicine and Education (ITME)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130055517","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, a novel method is presented to segment the masseter in MRI images, which modifies the distance regularized level set evolution (DRLSE) with a new adaptive edge indicator function. The presented method introduces the phase congruency into the edge indicator function and combines the image gradient with phase information together to solve the segmentation problem. The method is tested by 50 MR images of masseter muscle, and the results show it is an effective approach can be used to produce clinically acceptable results to this challenging work.","PeriodicalId":184905,"journal":{"name":"2016 8th International Conference on Information Technology in Medicine and Education (ITME)","volume":"55 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134131159","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
