This paper deal with the dead band elimination in shunt active power filter (SAPF) operation. Here, along with power quality improvement, VSC is used for photovoltaic source integration. For the grid synchronisation Modified second-order sequence filter- frequency locked loop (Modified SOSF-FLL) is used. The Internet of Things (IoT) is flourishing, facilitating, and improving people’s lives all over the world as a result of the expanding technological breakthroughs. IoT-related ideas like augmented reality, a smarter environment, smarter healthcare, and self-driving automobiles have permeated every aspect of our daily lives. There is a huge market of IoT devices especially in the communication networks, several reports are informing. Some nations independently expand about two thirds of these IoT devices. Numerous IoT issues might be caused by low computing power and broadband availability. A few of them are security, heterogeneity, low power, and other issues. Considering this, it is a challenging issue to distribute the bandwidth to billions of IoT devices using the current infrastructure. In this study, we first introduce the IoT and the various industries in which it is used, then we analyze several methods for bandwidth allocation. This article proposes a new switched capacitor-based multilevel inverter that has the capability to handle single and multi-switch faults. In addition, for this inverter, phase disposition pulse width modulation (PD-PWM) is discussed. Furthermore, a comparative study has been demonstrated for the proposed fault-tolerant inverter with that of existing single DC source MLI to show the higher performance of switched-capacitor single DC source MLI. The idea here is to design a cap that gives them a feasibility of walking independently without being fearful. The work here includes the use of four ultrasonic sensors to be placed at four sides of the cap namely front, behind, left and right directions so as to detect any obstacles from any direction. It also has an embedded vibration motor to indicate the hurdle to the person in case the surrounding noises are more than the buzzer alarms. There are several classical algorithms that can show promising results on legal documents. One such algorithm is Kullback-Leibler based summarization (KLSumm), where documents and candidate summaries are represented through unigram probability distributions and summary sentences are chosen based on minimizing KL-divergence between documents and candidate summaries. The choice of probability distribution has a great impact on choosing the summary sentences from the document. In this work, two approaches are explored for improving the formation of probability distributions, viz. NgramKLSumm and BertKLSumm. From the experimental results, we find that, NgramKLSumm approach performs better on the BillSum dataset in terms of both ROUGE and BERTScore metrics; whereas BertKLSumm performs better on the FIRE dataset in terms of ROUGE metric. In the case of BillSum dataset, the improvement is around 5-13% for BertKLSumm approach; whereas nearly 10-16% improvement is seen for NgramKLSumm approach in terms of ROUGE metrics. In terms of BertScore, the improvement is around 2% F1-score for BertKLSumm approach, while 6% F1-score improvement is seen in the case of NgramKLSumm approach. In the case of FIRE dataset, 2-5% improvement is seen for the ROUGE metrics while no improvement is seen in the case of BertScore. In this work, Ansys CFD software was used to investigate the airflow characteristics of the drone propeller. To guarantee excellent performance in various flying states, design characteristics such as propeller radius, propeller rotational speed, number of blades, and angle of attack should be tuned. This research compares three types of propellers with various parameters of the angle of attack and twisting blade. Propeller twisting, also known as wing torsion, occurs when the axis of the span is parallel to the axis of the wing, resulting in a variety of (AOA) angle of attack. To achieve ideal velocities along the propeller blade, the blade twists decrease at the blade’s tip. Because of the twisting blade, propellers can operate at a less or more constant effective angle of attack. The study and results display the values of thrust force, lift, and drag coefficients which were acquired by using Ansys. The design has been tested at three distinct rotational speeds: 4000 rpm, 6000 rpm, and 8000 rpm. A controller based on synchronous reference frame (SRF) is utilized to generate the switching signals for shunt and series compensator. The load compensation is obtained through the implementation of moving average filter (MAF). It is is utilized as in-loop filter to filter out high frequency component of non-linear load current. The UPQC has the benefits of both shunt and series compensation, i.e., current and voltage related power quality (PQ) issues respectively. The PQ issues like harmonic elimination, reactive power compensation, voltage sag, voltage swell and load imbalance are mitigated through PV connected UPQC. This article also emphasis the application of green energy resources such as Solar Power Generation. The THD of source current and source voltage are limited under IEEE-519 and IEEE-1159 standards. The performance of UPQC-PV is tested and analysed in MATLAB platform having nonlinear load. The sensors are worn on a body part and tracked from whole-body motions and monitoring. Real-time signal processing is used to sense human body movements using wearable sensors. The work aims to provide opportunities for promising health applications using IoT. There are many challenges to recognising human activities, including accuracy. This work analyses Human Activity recognition concerning CNN, LSTM, and GRU deep learning models to improve the accuracy of the human activity recognition in the UCI-HAR and WISDM datasets. It refers to the situation when the samples belonging to one particular class in a dataset are much more than the samples of other classes. It causes misclassification chaos and lessens the performance of the algorithms to build real-world applications. As a result, any models that are trained on an imbalanced dataset are likely to be biased. In this paper, we have reported a hybrid approach where, we have generated a synthetic dataset based on the original dataset and merged the datasets to make a master dataset. The main objective is to leverage accuracy and improve model performance. The effectiveness of our work are shown in the terms of precision, recall and accuracy. A new integrated controller known as Fuzzy proportional derivative with filter (Fuzzy-PDF) has been modeled. The Skill Optimization Algorithm (SOA), an optimization algorithm, is used to optimize proportional derivative with filter (PDF) gains as well as the inputs-output scaling factors of the Fuzzy logic controller. The effect of incorporating the high voltage direct current (HVDC) tie-line in parallel with the Alternative current (AC) tie-line on the dynamic response of this system is evaluated. It reveals that on the present model with the AC-HVDC tie-line the dynamic response is improved. The simulation results show that the Fuzzy-PDF controller integrated with a wind energy source outperforms PDF alone.
