This paper deal with the dead band elimination in shunt active power filter (SAPF) operation. Here, along with power quality improvement, VSC is used for photovoltaic source integration. For the grid synchronisation Modified second-order sequence filter- frequency locked loop (Modified SOSF-FLL) is used.
