Organizing the process of designing (creating a concept for the game) and developing (producing the product) the serious educational games is a laborious and responsible process. The choice of game design and game model also proves to be essential for consumers. The context in which the serious game is played and used is important for the results obtained. The report discusses and distinguishes the different phases of design, development, implementation and evaluation of the created serious game. Attention is paid to the methods and approaches in creating serious educational games.","PeriodicalId":183669,"journal":{"name":"Innovative STEM Education","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129758572","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Unexpected results harden critical conditions that require immediate mass level of operational skills and emergently test glocal social circumstances that supposed to have been planned ahead without clear vision what, when, and how should be available as popular competence. After some cultural transition to more rhythmical everyday life, posttraumatic situation following pandemic limitations from spring 2020 will most probably rely on much higher awareness of public healthcare and hygiene, and will provide medical robotics with opportunities of immediate approval and implementation that their previous socialisation could not ever expect, as for example reorienting of human resource towards development and implementation of artificial intelligence.","PeriodicalId":183669,"journal":{"name":"Innovative STEM Education","volume":"3586 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-08-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127523188","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The results are related to the creation of a portable information system for individual monitoring of the cardiovascular system, which includes a portable device for recording photoplethysmographic (PPG) signals and software for processing, mathematical analysis and assessment of heart rate variability. An important advantage of the portable device is the ability to constantly monitor and record the functioning and parameters of the cardiovascular system of the individual. This allows more accurate diagnosis of patients in different life situations in normal life, which is based on subsequent scientific analysis of the registered cardiac information through developed specialized software using linear and nonlinear mathematical methods. The article also shows the results for validation of the created new device, by means of an experimental scheme with which electrocardiographic (ECG) and PPG signals are registered simultaneously. The obtained two types of signals are compared in terms of the accuracy parameter of the registered signals. The results show that the two types of registered signals are identical; therefore the developed portable device can be used as an alternative to the currently widely used ECG and Holter devices.","PeriodicalId":183669,"journal":{"name":"Innovative STEM Education","volume":"99 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-08-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132084554","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The paper in question analyzes specific reasons why things are not good to continue in the current way, which is basically a very slightly changed medieval model. Since the times today are fundamentally different than then, it is good to update the ways of carrying out scientific activity. In addition to a theoretical analysis of the problems, the paper also considers specific projects that are directly related to the way science develops. The presentation is based on the author's experience related to a specific scientific field (mathematics, part number theory and combinatorics) and the proposals do not apply to science in general, but are rather suitable for the exact sciences and especially for mathematics.","PeriodicalId":183669,"journal":{"name":"Innovative STEM Education","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-08-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124595014","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The most soughtafter way to show motivation is the direct practical use of knowledge most often in school. This can be achieved by carefully selecting examples and learning tasks. Proven motivating impact there is a possibility for training based on the management of physical systems. This paper presents a system of tasks with LEGO robot control, part of the new approach developed by the authors for training in informatics and IT, relying on strong motivation through the development of applications with modern interface in modern environment, solving everyday problems, demonstrations with robot and visualizations of algorithms. The proposed examples and tasks can serve to enrich the pedagogical practice of secondary school teachers.","PeriodicalId":183669,"journal":{"name":"Innovative STEM Education","volume":"74 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-08-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128202542","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
