Hazards Identification, Risk Assessment and Preventive Measures at Specific Sites

Abstract

The present work proposes an integrated approach in identifying hazardous substances, materials and sections (modules) of the studied specific (potentially hazardous) site, having an impact on safety, identifying the sources of danger in this site, assessing the consequences of potential major accidents at the site, as well as determining and assessing the adequacy of preventive, control and risk mitigation measures. A concrete example of application of the approach is presented.
