The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of the COVID 19 pandemic on the health of ethnic minorities in China. Due to the lack of relevant literature examining the impact of the COVID 19 pandemic on the health of ethnic minorities in China, this paper attempts to analyse the common factors associated with the increase in the rate of inf ection and the increase in the mortality rate of ethnic minorities in other countries during the pandemic, including healthcare resources, by using a qualitative anal ysis approach and by reviewing a large amount of literature and data from questionnaires t hat have impacted on the health of aboriginal populations during the neo new crown epidemics in other countries, health facilities, income levels and government policies to waive treatment costs, etc., in order to gain insight into the correlation between these factors and the health status of ethnic minorities and their impact on the epidemic, in order to summarise the common factors affecting the health of ethnic minorities in China during the New Crown epidemic. The study found that most indigenous peopl es in other countries suffer from a lack of medical resources due to their remote location, a lack of healthy water sources and sanitation facilities that makes them more susceptible to infection with the Ne w Coronary Virus, as well as a combination of poo r income levels and unhealthy diets that lead to kidney disease and hypertension that add to the mortality rate of the New Coronary condition, and even in a small number of cases, serious mental health prob lems. And China's ethnic minorities also have simi lar social and economic marginalisation and similar living conditions as minorities in other countries. In order to better address this problem, it is recommended that the Government increase investment in medica l resources for ethnic minorities, raise inc ome levels, improve living environments and dietary structures, reduce the probability of kidney disease and hypertension complications by subsidising regular medical check ups for ethnic minorities in China, and help ethnic minorities in China to improve their resistance to the new coronary epidemic, which will be important for improving the health of ethnic minorities in China.","PeriodicalId":183161,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Social Science and Human Research","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141798232","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

At this time the existence of Pancasila is increasingly being eroded in the national legal system, because it is influenced by several reasons, including the New Order Period which used Pancasila for the sake of the perpetuation of an authoritarian power. The strengthening of legal pluralism which results in legal contradictions or disharmony. Pancasila is only used as a symbol in law. Therefore, it is necessary to make efforts to apply Pancasila as the source of all sources of law in the national legal system where Pancasila is a legal school so that legal disharmony does not occur again due to the implementation of legal pluralism. The position of Pancasila as the pinnacle of legislation so that Pancasila has binding power to all types of legislation so that it does not violate the existing legal rules in Indonesia.","PeriodicalId":183161,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Social Science and Human Research","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141797339","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We address situations of indiscipline and behaviors that violate rules/norms set out in the school's Internal Regulations, which alter the normal functioning of classes, learning and the educational and relational environment. The literature warns of the complexity of the 'indiscipline' phenomenon, due to the different definitions, which do not coincide, despite some harmony. Our purpose is to analyze the data on the perceptions mentioned N=17 students (questionnaire survey) from a class -9 year of schooling at Horta Secondary School (designated ESMA), on the Island of Faial-Azores/Portugal, triangulated by the information (semi-structured interview) coming from the school leader, class director and president of the Parents/Guardians association, as well as field notes and observational analysis of various documents and projects. We are guided by the following objectives, converted into research questions: Understanding the meaning of indiscipline versus discipline; Identify the factors (internal, external) and causes that determine the manifestation of indiscipline; Characterize indiscipline situations in students; Understand the behavior of undisciplined students and their degrees of severity; in students; Identify the measured responses promoted by the school in the face of school indiscipline; Determine the strategies applied by teachers to combat indiscipline and promote coexistence; Develop greater family involvement in knowing disciplinary rules and preventing situations of indiscipline in children. The questionnaire data was treated statistically and we carried out content analysis of the interviews, all of which were subjected to triangulation. The results say that students do not consider their acts as indiscipline, the cause being caused by changes in relationships and family environment.","PeriodicalId":183161,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Social Science and Human Research","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141797264","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research aims to explore the influence of smartphone use on parenting patterns and smartphone addiction levels among Indonesian migrant workers' children at the Indonesian Elementary School in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. The study involved 76 parents and 3 teachers as respondents. Data was collected through interviews and questionnaires, then analyzed using descriptive and inferential methods. The results show that the majority of children use smartphones with frequencies of very often (19%), often (7%), quite often (37%), and rarely (37%), but parental supervision of smartphone use still includes some families in the categories of not supervising (5%), moderately supervising (18%), often supervising (7%), and very closely supervising (70%). The level of parental awareness about the importance of monitoring also varies, with most still lacking awareness of the negative impacts of uncontrolled smartphone use. Pearson correlation analysis shows a significant relationship between effective parenting patterns, such as monitoring and providing alternative activities, with the frequency of smartphone use by children. These findings underscore the importance of a balanced and proactive parenting approach in managing smartphone use to prevent addiction and other negative impacts on children.","PeriodicalId":183161,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Social Science and Human Research","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141797821","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study ai ms to clari fy the relationship and impact between income and health. This paper focuses on the relationship between health care and health behaviour, income inequality and income gap, health status and other factors. Analysis of these factors and outcomes s hows that people with higher incomes generally have better access to health care, maintain more positive health behaviors and thus have better overall health. On the contrary, the health status of low income people is significantly worse, mainly because they have di fficulty in affording high quality life services and accessing basic medical services even when they are ill. In addition, the paper explores how income inequality and large income disparities can further exacerbate health problems. The study found that in come inequality not only affects access to health services, but also negatively impacts health behaviors among low income people. A widening income gap makes it easier for low income people to make unhealthy diet and lifestyle choices.","PeriodicalId":183161,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Social Science and Human Research","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141797219","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The use of intrinsic motivation as a mediating variable is intended toclarify the influence of various individual characteristics of certain auditors on the quality of the auditor's work. This research was conducted on 110 auditors from various Public Accounting Firms using a snowballing survey approach and Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis with the help of SmartPLS 3.2.9. This research finds that intrinsic motivation is influenced by the auditor's independent attitude and influences audit quality. This research also succeeded in proving that the auditor's intrinsic motivation has moderate influence in mediating the relationship between independence and audit quality. Based on these findings, auditors and public accounting firms are advised to re-evaluate their audit quality through independence and intrinsic motivation. The results of this empirical research have succeeded in proving that audit quality becomes better as a result of the quality of auditor independence, mediated by intrinsic motivation, although the influence is still moderate. The findings support developing agency theory and self-determination theory in explaining the role of in improving audit quality.","PeriodicalId":183161,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Social Science and Human Research","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141798428","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Four more needs have been added as an emergent quadrant of needs in social media usage. The model postulates the non hierarchical nature of these motives, as drawn from the research findings. This study explores the integration of social networking sites (SNS) within Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs (MNH) to understand how these digital platforms fulfil various human needs. By mapping SNS features to Maslow’s human needs, this research examines the role of SNS in satisfying the new media needs corresponding to physiological, safety, love and belonging, esteem, and self-actualisation needs. The study employs a qualitative analysis of SNS functionalities and user experiences, drawing on existing literature and theoretical frameworks to provide a comprehensive understanding of the psychological and social impacts of digital interactions. The findings of non-participatory and participatory observations, coupled with users and expert focus group discussions, reveal that different features of the SNS are used to satisfy the five levels of Maslow’s Pyramid. Some new need levels have emerged from the results of this study: 1. Image Creation and Image Sustenance 2. Public Image Actualisation 3. Know Me Syndrome and 4. Being Good Syndrome. This study provides detailed explanations of the role of SNS features in satisfying the basic five needs and the emergent four needs, for the modern socially networked human. The findings offer insights into the design and development of these platforms to enhance user well-being and satisfaction.","PeriodicalId":183161,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Social Science and Human Research","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141800422","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
