It is established that the screenings are raw material of low-temperature sintering. Depending on the degree of grinding, raw material can belong to the group of medium-or high-sintering raw materials. The screenings have a rather narrow sintering range – no more than 50 °C, which, as it seems to us, can be expanded by increasing the content of fine fractions in the preparation of screenings. Main mineral phases at the firing temperature of 1000-1100 °C are quartz, feldspars, ferrous silicates and aluminium silicates (fayalite, hypersthene, etc.), hematite. Features of dynamic phase and mineralogical transformations allow us to recommend firing products based on screenings at temperatures of 1000 °C and above, namely: in the production of ordinary bricks and stones based on screenings, it is necessary to focus on the temperature of 1000-1050 °C, in the production of clinker bricks and tiles at temperatures of 1050-1100 °C. When choosing corrective additives for screenings, it is necessary to pay attention to complex additives that increase the connectivity and plasticity of molding compositions, as well as expand the sintering range.The article presents the results of studies on the dynamics of phase transformations occurring during firing of processing screenings of Eastern Donbass spoil tips, represented by siltstones, and which are promising raw materials for the production of various types of building ceramics – ordinary, face and clinker bricks, high-performance ceramic stones, ceramic tiles and siding. Despite this involvement, the on-board implementation of predictive features is still limited in modern automotive control systems. This paper deals with the development of a predictive NOx emissions control function for a diesel hybrid electric vehicle, equipped with an electrically heated after-treatment system composed by a Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC), a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF), and a Selective Catalytic Reactor (SCR). Such function makes use of an a-priori-known vehicle speed trajectory that would be made available by the electronic horizon provider, and it presents two main sections. The first one predicts the aftertreatment system temperature and the NOx emissions both at the engine out and at the tailpipe over the prediction horizon. The second section defines the powertrain and after-treatment control policy, with the objective of minimizing after-treatment electric heating energy and SCR urea consumption, while respecting the legal NOx limits for the given mission. Furthermore, if the estimated pollutant production exceeds the limits even if the aftertreatment system is operated in the highest efficiency conditions, the predictive control function redefines the torque demanded to the internal combustion engine (and the one requested to the electric motor) to match the legal limits. In terms of results, this novel approach to emissions control shows the benefits coming from the usage of predictive information in combination with powertrain hybridization, and it can be applied to any HEV configuration.","PeriodicalId":182421,"journal":{"name":"SECOND INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON MATERIAL SCIENCE, SMART STRUCTURES AND APPLICATIONS: ICMSS-2019","volume":"54 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127034248","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Under the terms of the task, robots operate in an industrial-urban environment, that is, the movement of robots is flat. There were analyzed various strategies of group interaction between robots and literature reviewed. Based on the specifics of the task, a decentralized control strategy was chosen. To solve this problem, an algorithm was proposed for the movement of a group of mobile robots with a subsequent visual check of the operation of the obtained algorithm. The developed algorithm includes the following components: constructing the working environment graph of the robot; determining the shortest distances between the base point of each robot and each target point; distributing targets between robots; checking the absence or preventing collisions between robots; building a global trajectory. The implementation of the algorithm works in the MATLAB environment. Group models are developed in the Simscape Multibody package, which allows you to perform physical modeling of both each robot and the group. To make realistic contact between the surface and the wheels of a mobile robot, the use of the Contact Forces Library add-on is required, which considers all the friction and slip forces. This software package can be used to pre-test the work of a group of robots in the context of the task. As a result of the test, the program and model successfully solve the problem, but the simulation time is high due to the large computational complexity of the model and the novelty of the Contact Forces Library package, which will be updated in future versions of the package.The task of control for group of special robots for use in high-risk environments (for example, for extinguishing fires, searching for dangerous substances, or eliminating the consequences of accidents) has been solved. Full coupling between the gaseous, spray and liquid film were achieved, allowing to capture the full range of kinematic and thermal interactions between the spray, the wall and the liquid film (both in dry and wet conditions). The evolution of the film is handled through a multi component film model, with a coupling to the gaseous and solid phase. In particular, the coupling of the film with a CHT model of the solid wall allows the designer to have a comprehensive evaluation of the wall temperature evolution. To complete the description of the film evolution, a stripping model for droplets from the film is used, allowing the transfer of mass from the film surface to the lagrangian phase.","PeriodicalId":182421,"journal":{"name":"SECOND INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON MATERIAL SCIENCE, SMART STRUCTURES AND APPLICATIONS: ICMSS-2019","volume":"125 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-12-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127174871","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
