While the \"alphabetic\" hepatitis viruses A, B, C, D, and E are well-characterized, and their impact on liver function well-documented, many emerging and re-emerging viruses, some of which are considered by the WHO to be potential pandemic threats, also infect the liver. Climate change is recognized as a key factor in the geographical spread of dengue and its vectors. Climate change affects dengue transmission through changes in temperature and precipitation, which affect both vectors and arboviruses. Climate change can also disrupt human migration patterns facilitating the spread of the virus and the invasion of vectors into new regions. Understanding the impact of climate change on dengue and its vectors is essential for developing strategies to prevent and control the disease. Appropriate mosquito control strategies, enhanced epidemiological surveillance and tailored public health systems are needed to mitigate the increasing burden of dengue in the context of climate change.</p>","PeriodicalId":18205,"journal":{"name":"M S-medecine Sciences","volume":"41 2","pages":"137-144"},"PeriodicalIF":0.6,"publicationDate":"2025-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"143542503","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"医学","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
