We recognize the following problems as the most significant: problems resulting from the digitalization of the educational and teaching-methodical process, problems associated with excessive formalization of the educational and teaching-methodical process, structural imbalances in the system of social and humanitarian disciplines taught at technical universities, educational and methodological overload of teachers of social and humanitarian disciplines, instability of the socio-professional status of teachers. We also prove the necessity of constructive interaction between teachers of social and humanitarian disciplines and administrative and managerial structures of universities, through which it is possible to overcome the existing problems and approach socially significant goals of humanitarian training at technical universities.","PeriodicalId":179308,"journal":{"name":"Alma mater. In particular, the laziness of non-mathematical students studying mathematics is a multi-level phenomenon that is an obstacle to achieving the educational goal. However, the complexity of the task of overcoming laziness concludes that morally justified motives can be behind each individual manifestation. The used normative and evaluative nature of the phenomenon of student laziness complicates the possibilities of its philosophical reflection, which, due to its ambiguity, has not yet become a substantive element of a mathematics teaching.","PeriodicalId":179308,"journal":{"name":"Alma mater. One of the factors influencing the professional choice of young specialists is the image of corporations among young people. Based on the theory of social construction of reality and on articles on the formation of a corporate image, the authors highlight the social image of state corporations, which is formed spontaneously in the minds of young people under the influence of historical, social, cultural factors, and the image constructed by the management of state corporations using management technologies. Using the example of the state corporation Roscosmos, the authors identified and compared the social image among young people and the constructed image. In-depth interviews with representatives of the relevant departments of the Roscosmos corporation made it possible to identify the desired image for the corporation as an innovative and high-tech corporation that maintains its leading position in space, which is promising for young professionals. A questionnaire survey of Moscow youth revealed the predominance of a negative image of the company, which is especially pronounced among graduates of specialized educational institutions and young specialists in the aerospace industry. The identified discrepancy between the constructed image and the real image of the state corporation Roscosmos has a negative impact on attracting young specialists. The authors propose a number of measures aimed at solving the problem of constructing a positive image of state-owned high-tech corporations among young people.","PeriodicalId":179308,"journal":{"name":"Alma mater. The aim of the study was to find methodological guidelines that allow, in the vast field of research on the phenomenon of play in philosophy and education, firstly, to determine the boundaries of the game and its varieties, and secondly, to understand how and why the game can be introduced into the educational process. The research was carried out using methods of historical, cultural, and comparative analysis, and the structural and functional method was also used. As a result, three types of gamifications of the learning process were identified: how to introduce competitiveness, how to introduce dramatization and how to introduce creative practices. The article describes the change in the role of the teacher depending on the type of gamification chosen, the transition from pedagogical technology to pedagogical art is indicated. The theoretical significance of the research lies in the possibility of further development of types of gamifications, their detailing, the development of the issue of designing special types of games for various subjects, and the promising opportunity to create games with specified cognitive properties. The practical significance lies in the possibility of building training programs for developers and organizers of educational games around the found types of games.","PeriodicalId":179308,"journal":{"name":"Alma mater. In the article, using the example of one direction of engineering training, it is considered how the content of the cycle of social and humanitarian disciplines in the state educational standards of three generations has changed. The analysis of the content of the cycle of social and humanitarian disciplines in the curricula of existing educational programs in the areas of engineering training (bachelor's degree level) of a number of technical universities is carried out. Recommendations are given on the implementation of social and humanitarian disciplines in the design of new educational programs in accordance with the fourth-generation Federal State Educational Standard in accordance with the requirements of the time, modern science, society and the individual.","PeriodicalId":179308,"journal":{"name":"Alma mater. It is shown how, through the use of mini-cases in the process of teaching philosophy, it is possible to create a genuine motivation to study the subject field of philosophy with prolonged educational goals: not only teaching philosophy as a discipline and gaining the skill of critical thinking, but also the study of philosophical problems, which will allow in the future to professionally solve managerial problems.","PeriodicalId":179308,"journal":{"name":"Alma mater. With the development of AI, problems arise that affect various areas of human life, including ethics, economics, medicine, education and others. Analyzes key ethical issues such as the autonomy of AI decision-making; determining who is responsible for damage caused by AI; transparency and data protection, as well as issues of inequality and the potential social consequences of AI. Our task was to identify the main ethical issues related to the use of artificial intelligence and to identify possible solutions for the use and development of AI. To address this, we reviewed and analyzed existing ethical and guiding principles, identified and systematized key ethical issues and different positions on AI. The theoretical sources for our analysis were the results of scientific research in the field of artificial intelligence, considering the ethical aspects of the use and development of such systems.","PeriodicalId":179308,"journal":{"name":"Alma mater. Communication is considered as a means of ensuring the formation of universal educational actions (UES). Communicative activity differs from communicative actions on the basis of a motive, which is based on the need for communication, which is more developed in modern youth than the cognitive need. The article substantiates the necessity of transferring the communicative activity of students to the classroom (classroom) and filling its content with educational information. This approach dictates the need for work based on discussion, in which the communicative activity of the participants reaches a maximum. Based on the concept of discourses of J. Lacan (Master’s discourse, university discourse, hysteric discourse, analyst’s discourse) and the practice of debating in modern American university culture, the possibilities of using different forms of discourse in various kinds of discussions and options for their use in the educational process are analyzed. The materials are accompanied by a brief retrospective of the use of discussion in state and military policy and the conclusion is made about the need for a wider introduction of discussion (debating) to form the ability to communicate within the framework of the UES.","PeriodicalId":179308,"journal":{"name":"Alma mater. The implementation of the concept is aimed at achieving the technological sovereignty of the country. It is recognized that attempts at frontal liberalization of the Russian economy have led to the collapse of organizational forms of interaction and integration of scientific, educational and industrial activities in the civil sphere, to the degradation of engineering education and engineering schools. The Concept assumes the involvement of a large number of regions of the country in this innovative process by forming research and production clusters around leading engineering higher educational institutions in them. Statistical data on the economic, scientific, and human resources potential of Russian regions are presented. It is proposed to revise the legislative framework of the education system in the country, to implement real improvement of the educational process in universities based on modern approaches, to consider the feasibility of training masters in technical areas.","PeriodicalId":179308,"journal":{"name":"Alma mater. As part of the study, a survey of citizens from Kazakhstan, China, Uzbekistan studying at universities of the Russian Federation was carried out. It was found that the lower the quality of life in the respondent’s country, the more he has a desire to stay working in Russia, and the higher the material well-being of the respondent, the more he wants to continue studying and working abroad (USA, Canada, etc.). It is revealed that the higher the level of education of students’ parents and the position they hold, that is, the more well-off a student’s family is, the more often he focuses not only on university ratings, but also on quality of life ratings, happiness index, security, investments in human capital, etc. The authors concluded that the majority of foreign citizens tend to enroll to Russian universities on the recommendation of their reference personalities (usually parents, grandparents), who at one time received higher education in the Russian Federation. The results of the study showed that in order for Russia to enter the top five countries where foreign students study the most, it is necessary for the state and business to use the resources of “soft power”, which the author points out in his article.","PeriodicalId":179308,"journal":{"name":"Alma mater.
