The methodology applied and the results of the hybrid and online learning are also presented. The study is focused on the description of the development of all aspects involved in online learning as the Learning Management System, the Virtual Laboratory, Evaluation System and Online Learning Tool. Likewise, technological advances made it possible to introduce improvements not only in online education but also in face-to-face university education. These technological advances helped us to shift in an easy way from face-to-face learning to online and hybrid learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The proposed approach is supported both by special tools (for modelling, verifying, and implementing of designed CPS) and programmable platforms (FPGA-based boards and Arduino devices). The latter ones allow for laboratory prototyping during classes and give flexibility for exercising different implemen-tation strategies. Because of this, it is significant to provide students with access to equipment, procedures, and techniques that are as comparable to those they would encounter in industrial settings. The laboratory plays a vital role in the teaching of engineering, electronics, telecommunication, and applied science. With the development of the Internet and linking IT technologies between them, the development of virtual and remote laboratories was inevitable. In this paper, we suggest a distance learning approach through a remote laboratory for power electronics based on the Red Pitaya board. This education seminar aims to continuously produce human resources who will lead future technological development based on new ideas from an overview of the power electronics field. The target of the seminar is mainly engineers in industries, however, it includes managers and business people. Because we believe that basic principles and attitudes are also helpful to create new products and businesses in the field of the power electronics. The predecessor of the YPEC was a complimentary seminar organized by Yokohama National University as a project commissioned by the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) from 2016 to 2019. It is currently steered by YUVEC with support from Yokohama National University. This paper presents a novel modular approach to teaching mechatronics subjects using the bond graph in LabVIEW. LabVIEW can provide an industrial environment that connects graphical and analytical aspects. The background of the mechatronics students is divided into two directions: mechanical and electrical. During the research, these two directions share a common part, which is the bond graph. The bond graph is a novel hybrid method to connect the mechanical and electrical parts. The bond graph is an efficient technology to teach mechatronics subjects, and it is easy to understand for the students. A modularity teaching method has been developed for undergraduate and master's students at the engineering faculty, University of Debrecen. For the undergraduates, the focus is on the fundamental models, with the goal dedicated to applied technology and linear system. For the master's stage, students will learn more complex controller systems because of the modular learning strategy that adds some modules to the basic models. There are different possible paths and e-learning tools available for teachers and students to organize this kind of courses, classes, lectures. This paper presents several case studies focused on the practical implementation and use of various types of interactivities both in the lectures and laboratory classes. The author describes development of ideas and process of activating and interactive collaboration of students in groups as well as implemented ideas for development of interactive educational video materials to be used by students in self-study. Moreover, a project-based and project-oriented learning approach is proposed and discussed to maintain a high level of activity and involvement of students in the teaching process with BL techniques. Today, there is a need of professionals that are skilled on the application of modern technologies that can reliably determine the condition of these machines. The analysis of motor currents is a technique that has proven its effectiveness for the detection of a broad range of motor faults. In special, modern variants based on the analysis of transient currents have proven to be very useful for condition monitoring purposes, improving the performance of classical methods. This work presents a software tool that is able to apply both classical and recent methods relying on current analysis for the detection of certain faults in electric motors. This tool is especially interesting for training courses addressed to engineers that are aimed to instruct them on the most recent condition monitoring methods.
