In the first place, a study has been carried out on the different Blockchain technologies applicable to IoT environments and the different devices and IoT development boards, as well as the programming languages for the development of the backend and general Frontend of the DAPP and the prototype. Once the applicable technologies were chosen, we proceeded with the design of a user interface that would allow the data received by the IoT prototype to be displayed, as well as the development of a smart contract deployed on the Rinkeby Testnet for communication and interaction with the Blockchain network. Finally, the Hardware was developed in this case an ESP32 development card and a DHT11 temperature and humidity sensor together with the software that would be in charge of the data emission directly with the Blockchain. During the project tests, it was concluded that it worked perfectly, and the prototype with sensors and the DAPP software was taken into account for its deployment and thus meets the objectives proposed in this project.","PeriodicalId":178334,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE International Conference on Engineering Veracruz (ICEV)","volume":"62 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115209352","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One of them is to use graphene, the first two-dimensional material, as a channel, instead of silicon, mainly due to its electrical characteristics, such as its high mobility compared to that of silicon, and physical characteristics in general, since they reduce the negative effects and allow manufacturing devices faster. The purpose of this article is to review the existing literature regarding modeling, simulation, and the steps for the fabrication of a graphene channel field effect transistor in its different stages, starting with the modeling and design of the transistor.","PeriodicalId":178334,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE International Conference on Engineering Veracruz (ICEV)","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122610410","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is based on a C12882AM solid-state detector and an 8-bit MCU. Acquired data can be visualized through a computer interface, allowing users to collect and visualize data on the fly or to set up a continuous analysis experiment. It can analyze absorbance spectra in the range of 450 to 750 nm. The RhB1 chemosensor was used to detect Cd2+ concentrations from the absorbance peaks. Different metrics were determined in terms of the repeatability test, coefficient of determination R2 , limit of detection (LoD), limit of quantification (LoQ), precision of Y/X response factors, and relative standard deviation (RSD). The results show the adequate performance of the prototype, since it can analyze Cd2+ samples with a performance comparable even to that of commercial laboratory equipment in the range of 0.1 ppm to 0.7 ppm Cd2+.","PeriodicalId":178334,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE International Conference on Engineering Veracruz (ICEV)","volume":"309 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116462314","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It was determined which of the algorithms had the lowest error between the pulse signal without motion contamination and the signal at the output of the filter, this in order to denote an adaptive algorithm to filter an off-line photoplethysmographic pulse signal, by processing the signal and leaving the signal ready to improve the subsequent visualization of the relevant information of the signal. The implementation of the adaptive filter algorithm was offline in MATLAB software.","PeriodicalId":178334,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE International Conference on Engineering Veracruz (ICEV)","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120950549","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The inverted pendulum problem is a problem widely studied in control theory, the most studied problem being the classical inverted pendulum in a carriage. Unlike the classic problem, the quadrotor introduces one degree of uderactuation to the system due to the dynamics rotation of the quadrotor where it has the control input due to the torques generated by the motors and which allows the horizontal displacement of the system with respect to the inertial frame reference fixed in the earth, and also the vertical dynamics that allows the quadrotor to move in height with respect to the ground. However, the solution proposed in this article makes use of a Discontinuous Extended State Observer based on an Active Disturbance Rejection Control (DESO-ADRC) applied to the nonlinear model of the system to estimate endogenous or unknown exogenous disturbances induced to the system and compensate them in the feedback control.","PeriodicalId":178334,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE International Conference on Engineering Veracruz (ICEV)","volume":"54 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134059294","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this work we developed an innovative way to teach these items based on experiential learning through the incorporation of 3D printed molecules involved in DNA replication. We evaluated students at college and high school level in current study programs at Tecnológico de Monterrey. To know the motivation and compromise of the students with their learning, they realized a video explaining DNA replication and they answered three surveys. The results showed that the most part of the students was motivated to learn when the 3D models are incorporated into their class activities but in compromise just a group showed significant results. The incorporation of 3D printing biomolecules allowed to improve the learning-teaching method to create biological models touchable and useful to analyze and understand molecular interactions, mechanisms, and structures in bioengineering.","PeriodicalId":178334,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE International Conference on Engineering Veracruz (ICEV)","volume":"55 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115537789","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
