The reflectance is obtained by solving the Maxwell equation at metal surfaces and the surface current is obtained by introducing the relaxation time which is related to the electron scattering at grain boundaries by the Mayadas-Shatzkes method. A simple linear connection exists between the relative change of optical reflectance and the relative change of electrical resistance for polycrystalline metal films. \u0000 \u0000 \u0000 \u0000Der Einflus der Streuung von Leitungselektronen an den Kristallitgrenzen auf das Verhalten der optischen Reflexion in polykristallinen Metallfilmen fur den Bereich des sichtbaren Lichts und des naheren Infrarot wird untersucht. Die optische Reflexion wird mit Hilfe der Maxwell-gleichungen berechnet, wahrend die Werte des elektrischen Schichtstroms mit Hilfe der Mayadas-Shatzkes-Weglangentheorie erhalten werden konne. A simplified formulation of the thermionic field equations are derived and applied to the experimental data obtained. The simplified formulation of the current transport is readily applied to simple Schottky diodes and the more complex heterostructure studied in the present work. Using the theory developed here, current-voltage measurements are used to extract interface barriers in the heterostructure. \u0000 \u0000 \u0000 \u0000Es wird der Stromtransport in Al/InAlAs/InGaAs-Heterostrukturen untersucht. Eine vereinfachte Formulierung der thermionischen Feldgleichungen wird abgeleitet und auf die erhaltenen experimentellen Werte angewendet.
