The selection of glide systems is studied in several ways. The results can be rationalised when the inhomogeneity of the plastic deformation and the different glide paths of the dislocations are taken into account. The activity of a glide system depends not only on its Schmid factor but also strongly on the orientation of the glide system with respect to the foil plane. \u0000 \u0000 \u0000 \u0000Dunne, mittelorientierte Kupfereinkristalle werden in einem Transmissionelektronenmikroskop wahrend der Beobachtung zugverformt. Die Auslese von Gleitsystemen wird auf verschiedene Weise untersucht. Die Ergebnisse stimmen uberein, wenn man die Inhomogenitat der plastischen Deformation und die verschiedenen Laufwege der Versetzungen berucksichtigt. The thermal vacancy content, which is determined from density and thermal expansion experiments amounts to some percents. The activation energy for vacancy formation for the temperature interval in which the experiments are carried out is 0.20 eV. During the thermal expansion measurements an after-effect in the macroscopic length is measured simultaneously. The annealing curves are well described by first-order kinetics and from the temperature dependence of the time constants an activation energy for vacancy migration of (1.34 ± 0.04) eV is derived. On the basis of the present after-effect measurements and tracer self-diffusion measurements a diffusion mechanism is proposed for NiGa: nickel and gallium migration via nearest-neighbour jumps and through single as well as divacancies. \u0000 \u0000 \u0000 \u0000In stochiometrischem NiGa werden Leerstellenkonzentration und Leerstellenbeweglichkeit untersucht. Der Anteil thermischer Leerstellen der aus der Dichte und thermischen Ausdehnungs-Messungen bestimmt wird, liegt bei einigen Prozent. Die Aktivierungsenergie fur die Leerstellenbildung im Temperaturintervall, bei dem die Experimente durchgefuhrt werden, betragt 0,20 eV. Wahrend der Messungen der thermischen Ausdehnung wird gleichzeitig ein Nachwirkungseffekt der makroskopischen Lange gemessen. Die Ausheilkurven lassen sich gut mit einer Kinetik erster Ordnung beschreiben und aus der Temperaturabhangigkeit der Zeitkonstanten wird eine Aktivierungsenergie fur Leerstellenwanderung von (1,34 ± 0,04) eV abgeleitet. Magnetostriction is measured along the 〈100〉 and 〈111〉 directions. From the analysis of the field dependence of the forced magnetostriction at the ordered-phase the single-ion and pseudodipolar magnetoelastic interaction parameters associated with the tetragonal distortion are obtained, being respectively M = 12 K/atom and D ≈ 0.8 K/atom. The transverse magnetostriction along the 〈100〉 direction is analyzed in terms of effective conventional magnetostriction parameters hi. From parastriction experiment values for M and the quadrupolar effective interaction parameter are deduced, viz. M = (15 ± 1) K/atom and G1 = (2.5 ± 1) mK/atom. \u0000 \u0000 \u0000 \u0000L'aimantation et la susceptibilite paramagnetique ont ete mesurees dans un monocristal de ErZn selon les principales directions de symmetrie. La magnetostriction a ete mesuree selon les directions 〈100〉 et . De l'analyse de la dependence avec le champ magnetique de la magnetostriction forcee – dans le domaine ordone nous avons obtenu les parametres a un-ion et pseudodipolaire de l'interaction magnetoelastique, etant respectivement M = 12 K/atome et D ≈ 0,8 K atome. La magnetostriction transversal selon la direction 〈100〉 est analysee en fonction de parametres conventionnels effectifs, hi. As compared to the pure material significant surface corrosion is observed for the air heattreated alloy. In vacuum heat treatment the Mg content of the surface layer increases considerably. Initially metallic Mg is detected on the surface which, however, becomes oxidized later on. On the basis of the investigations one has to assume that the process is not a simple diffusion mechanism only. A new conception is formed for the process according to which it is controlled by the breaking up of the Al2O3 barrier layer by Mg. \u0000 \u0000 \u0000 \u0000Wahrend einer Warmebehandlung von Mg enthaltenden Al-Legierungen andert sich die Mg-Konzentration betrachtlich. Im Vergleich zu dem reinen Material wird eine signifikante Oberflachenkorrosion fur in Luft getemperte Legierungen beobachtet. Bei Vakuumtemperung steigt der Mg-Gehalt der Oberflachenschicht betrachtlich an. Anfangs wird metallisches Mg auf der Oberflache nachgewiesen, das jedoch spater oxidiert wird. Auf der Grundlage der Untersuchungen mus angenommen werden, das der Prozess nicht nur ein einfacher Diffusionsmechanismus ist. A model established originally to describe the change in electrical conductivity of sintered materials with porosity is extended to include the elastic modulus. This model is based essentially on the concept of the number of contacts between powder particles. \u0000 \u0000 \u0000 \u0000Nous avons constate experimentalement qu'il existe une relation simple entre le module d'elasticite relatif, E/Em, et la conductivite electrique relative, γ/γm, pour les materiaux metalliques frittes. Un modele theorique precedemment etabli pour decrire l'evolution de la conductivite electrique des materiaux frittes a ete etendu au module d'elasticite. A model of homogeneous deformation of metallic glasses near Tg, able to take all the experimental features into account, is proposed. Following such a model, the plastic deformation would be principally dependent on recovery processes associated to structural relaxation. \u0000 \u0000 \u0000 \u0000Le fluage d'un alliage vitreux FeBSiC a ete etudie: le caractere a la fois viscoelastique et viscoplastique de la deformation, la relation entre vitesse de deformation et contrainte appliquee et, enfin, l'effet de la relaxation structurale ont ete precises. Apres avoir discute certains hypotheses physiques, un modele de deformation homogene pouvant rendre compte du comportement des verres metalliques vers Tg, est propose.
