Multiple accelerometers with additional instantaneous shaft speed measurement were utilized to measure vibrations. The experiment was carried out during the turbojet normal working conditions where the shaft speed run-up from zero to maximum speed about 800 rev/s where is kept about 15 s and then smoothly coasted-down towards zero. The advantageous features of the proposed solutions is the usage of minimal number of passive elements, whereas all are grounded, and ideally zero-input and infinite-output impedance. Several models are built that employ the classic, incremental and convex incremental extreme learning algorithm, and are compared to each other, as well as to other available models, in order to evaluate their approximation capability and accuracy. Along with the models, a few important features of the learning algorithms are discussed and alternative solutions are offered for some learning steps. Namely, the conducted research has clearly showed that the random selection of the hidden layer parameters significantly influences the approximation capacity of the classic extreme learning machine. The paper offers a simple solution to the problem. In addition, the research has confirmed that the incremental extreme learning machine indeed does not achieve the smallest possible approximation error due to the fact that the output parameters of the hidden nodes are not readjusted after the addition of each new hidden node. The paper also offers a simple solution to this problem. Finally, the convex incremental extreme learning machine tends to solve the accuracy problem of the incremental extreme learning machine. However, it still achieves smaller accuracy than the proposed solution in this paper. In order to satisfy their requirements, mobile operators are working on improved network topology which leads to increased bandwidth, and generally improves Quality of Experience (QoE). All of the requirements listed below require expensive hardware updates. Another way to improve already existing topology is to implement software updates. Proposed modifications implying novel algorithms including the implementation of Quality of Services (QoS) which lead to situation that data processed in operators' data centers would be improved. This work elaborates on if and how cellular users and their required services are influenced by the geographical location and their distance to the mobile data center. The other research question is an influence of the traffic volumes which have to be processed on the data center side. The framework assumes the simultaneous access to spectrum by at least two parties - the primarily owner (incumbent), which has the highest priority, and several secondary users (licensees), which have lower priorities. The critical up-to-date problem is the development of the corresponding radio admission control and load balancing algorithms that form an essential part of the LSA agreement between the parties. The algorithm of binary use of spectrum gives an absolute priority to the incumbent, e.g. the airport using spectrum for aeronautical telemetry purposes. In the paper, capturing the inhomogeneous in time nature of rates of requests for access to spectrum and average times of spectrum use, we propose a queuing model of binary access to spectrum as seen from the licensee's point of view. The queue is described by an inhomogeneous birth and death process with catastrophes and repairs. The main aim of the paper is to find the bounds on the rates of convergence to the limiting characteristics of the queue - average number of users, blocking probability, and probability of service interruption due to the incumbent's need for spectrum. Cooperation in such networks can be improved by providing nodes with information on network dynamics and topology changes. This paper proposes a proactive approach to handling mobility-induced network topology changes. The approach uses signal strength trends to predict the future locations and connectivity between the network nodes. Our research is aimed towards the creation of an alternative topology in each node, where a node would keep other nodes suitability for cooperation in the data distribution. In this paper we present the initial algorithm and test the prediction method using a simulation. The algorithm is then applied in an experimental testbed where its performance was tested using real moving nodes executing a real data distribution process. However inter cell interference is a limiting factor that is exacerbated with the irregular locations of Base Stations (BSs) and heterogeneous nature of transmitted powers. Conventional deployments only apply power control in the uplink (UL) whereas BSs transmit with fixed power in the downlink (DL) with independence of each BS location. In this paper two power setting techniques are proposed for the DL of HCNs. These techniques adjust transmit power at each BS aiming to provide a target desired power ρ0 at the cell edge. Hence these schemes account for the interference that each BS transmission cause to users associated with neighboring cells, reducing unnecessary powerful transmissions for close BSs.
