In order to compress the video for efficient storage and transmission, the temporal redundancy among adjacent frames must be exploited. A frame is selected as reference frame and subsequent frames are predicted from the reference frame using a technique known as motion estimation. Real videos contain a mixture of motions with slow and fast contents. Among block matching motion estimation algorithms, the full search algorithm is known for its superiority in the performance over other matching techniques. However, this method is computationally very extensive. Several fast block matching algorithms (FBMAs) have been proposed in the literature with the aim to reduce computational costs while maintaining desired quality performance, but all these methods are considered to be sub optimal. No fixed fast block matching algorithm can efficiently remove temporal redundancy of video sequences with wide motion contents.","PeriodicalId":174433,"journal":{"name":"2012 International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-05-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114399096","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This leads to traffic redundancy and latency. The existing approaches of loss collected retransmission based on X-OR selective principle, which minimizes the number of packets to be retransmitted. However, the receivers send NACKs to the source expecting the retransmission from the source. This overwhelms the source affecting the throughput and processing time. In this paper we analyze the processing time of sender in loss collected retransmission by placing proxies at the intermediate router. The simulation results reveal that our framework minimizes the processing time of sender than simple loss collected retransmission model.","PeriodicalId":174433,"journal":{"name":"2012 International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies","volume":"307 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-05-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116376615","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Cloud computing platform provides the scalability, availability and utility computing for services on Internet. There are many technical challenges involved in SaaS development. One of them is multi-tenancy, which allows single instance of software to serve multiple organizations by accommodating their unique requirements through configuration at the same time. SaaS architecture requires the both configuration and some level of customization to achieve higher maturity model. In this paper, we proposed a metadata driven SaaS architecture, which is independent of underlying cloud infrastructure. Proposed architecture includes monitoring, tenant management, tenant administration, tenant configuration and large data management services. In our proposed architecture, we used Memcached concept and it is supported by almost all databases to boost the performance. In addition to this, we have considered application pooling on web server to manage priority among tenants.","PeriodicalId":174433,"journal":{"name":"2012 International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies","volume":"62 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-05-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123458565","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

An accurate modeling hierarchy has been proposed for MCB structures. Bundled single-walled CNTs (SWNTs) and multi-walled CNTs (MWNTs) have been modeled as equivalent single conductor (ESC) transmission lines and then combined to form a MCB interconnect. This MCB interconnect is basically a multiple single conductor model. By considering different arrangements of SWNT and MWNT in mixed CNT bundle, performance is analyzed for two different MCB structures (structure1 and structure 2) in terms of propagation delay, cross talk delay and power dissipation. It has been observed that cross talk delay for structure 1 is 55.5% lesser as compared to structure 2. Consequently, power dissipation for structure 1 is also lesser with respect to structure 2.","PeriodicalId":174433,"journal":{"name":"2012 International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-05-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129561391","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

First 2G technology came into existence which enabled mobile users with the technologies such as GSM, TDMA and CDMA. It also provided SMS services. After 2G many advanced versions were evolved like 2.5G with the enhancement such as high data transmission rate (56Kbps) and also enabled services like WAP, MMS, sending IPv4 services and GPRS technology. Then it leads to the evolution of 2.75G with the data transfer rate up to 236.8Kbps and it uses EDGE (Enhanced Data Rates for GSM Evolution) technology for data transmission. As the generations were evolving with new advancements the key factor which is mostly enhanced is data transmission rate, thus in the year 2002, 3G evolved which is based on technology named UMTS (Universal Mobile Telecommunication System) that provides 14 MB/s of data transmission rate. It enables internet, mobile TV and video calling services. Further improvement in communication between the user and network using HSDPA technology took 3.5G into existence. Based on simulation of HSDPA, the main objective is to simulate an improved downlink diversity increasing in frequency.","PeriodicalId":174433,"journal":{"name":"2012 International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies","volume":"71 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-05-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127276415","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

After energy hole comes, data cannot be transmitted to sink even though energy is still remained in outer region nodes which affects the lifetime of the networks. In this paper we analyze jointly effect of exponential distribution of nodes toward the sink and mixed routing so that the lifetime of wireless sensor network will be improved. A set of interleavers is considered to be practical if it has zero correlation with each other and also easy to generate as well requires minimal bandwidth during communication process. A properly defined correlation between user-specific interleavers can be utilized to formulate a minimal collision criterion, where zero-correlation (i.e., orthogonality) implies no collision. In this paper, a practical interleaver has been proposed for interleave-division multiple-access (IDMA) systems.
