The PAPR reduction performance depends on the selection of random phase sequences. This also requires transmission of side information to recover at the receiver. This paper proposes, generation of hadamard matrices for selection of phases. Complexity due to IFFT's is reduced by generating the candidate signals in time-domain by performing cyclic shifts. The number of cyclic shifts is chosen such that the corresponding frequency domain phase vectors have equal gain. The proposed architecture satisfies the equal gain constraints and is suitable for either interleaved or sub band OFDMA uplink systems and gives better PAPR reduction compared to SLM with DCT. And provides channel estimation to the OFDMA systems.","PeriodicalId":174433,"journal":{"name":"2012 International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-05-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125505295","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper we present a technique of deployment of Command and Control (C2) Network to generate an effective response necessary to meet the constraint of the hour. Here we make an endeavor to analyze the existing systems, their merits and demerits and finally propose a network which will carry the command to control the situation in case of an incident. Initially, we design a hierarchical commanding jurisdiction or we use an existing one and then we fit our designed network into it so that the command can be directed to the incident area without any ambiguity. Next, we check the compatibility of the Command and Control (C2) network with an existing hierarchical administrative system as a case study.","PeriodicalId":174433,"journal":{"name":"2012 International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies","volume":"133 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-05-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126708110","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It emphasizes that updates to a replica copy should been executed locally as much as possible avoiding using two-phase commit protocol operated directly on a remote copy in order to improve system performance. The message mechanism can prevent conflicts when two or more users update the same copy, and the transaction-log table is established to log up-to-date write transactions on a copy for a update propagation to other copies, avoiding access the original copy with large amounts of data.","PeriodicalId":174433,"journal":{"name":"2012 International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-05-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127776661","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The design results using conventional method (CM) have been compared with those obtained by applying GA and SA techniques and it is quite evident that the dimensions as well as active cost have been reduced in comparison to CM using same set of constraints. The results of GA and SA have been obtained using optimization tool box MATLAB Release 9.1 which have not been applied for power transformer design so far. Present paper firstly provides efficient and reliable solution for the design optimization problem with several variables and secondly, it guarantee that the obtained solution is a global optimum. Hence, this paper demonstrates a better and efficient solution for power transformer design using the said optimization techniques.","PeriodicalId":174433,"journal":{"name":"2012 International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies","volume":"124 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-05-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128116769","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, we investigate two theories of AIS, namely, clonal selection theory and immune network theory, and integrate them with Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) to solve the classical NP-hard optimization problem - the Job Shop Scheduling Problem (JSSP) with the objective of makespan minimization. In this hybrid algorithm, clonal selection theory is used to set up the framework which contains the processes of selection, cloning, hypermutation and receptor editing, while the immune network theory is applied to increase the diversity of the potential solution repertoire. The PSO is modified and hybridized in the mutation process to optimize the search procedure. To demonstrate the effectiveness of PSO and efficiency of the hybrid algorithm, 20 benchmark problems of different scales are used. The results are promising and encouraging, especially for small size instances.","PeriodicalId":174433,"journal":{"name":"2012 International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies","volume":"272 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-05-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132698892","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
