The proposed LNA is the extension of inductively degenerated common source amplifier, a technique widely used in narrow band designs. A second order Chebyshev filter is embedded in the input network of amplifying device to achieve the input broadband matching. An output-matching buffer is designed to match for maintaining high gain at upper frequency. The LNA is simulated based on UMC 0.18ìm CMOS mixed signal/RF process. With supply voltage of 1V, the post-layout simulation result shows that, the LNA achieves a power gain of 9.7dB with input matching of -9dB and input third-order-intercept point (IIP3) of -1dBm. In addition, the proposed LNA achieves a minimum noise figure of 3.6dB while consuming 7.1mW, which value is much lower than previously reported state-of-art UWB amplifiers.","PeriodicalId":174433,"journal":{"name":"2012 International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies","volume":"116 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-05-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124220347","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The system parameters are confined within given bounds. The size of the bounds shrinks as more information becomes available. In this case, the reconfigurable control scheme can rely on the estimated parameter bounds to provide preliminary control to stabilize the system and slow down the deterioration of the system performance. Thus longer time can be gained for further identification and control reconfiguration to recover the system performance gradually. The experimental results based on a distributed multi-robot system prove that with this method, the safety critical system can buy some time before the final crash happens.","PeriodicalId":174433,"journal":{"name":"2012 International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-05-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127248047","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It alters some of the image properties that may introduce few degradation or unusual characteristics. These characteristics may act as signatures that broadcast the existence of the embedded message and thus defeating the purpose of steganography. With large number of techniques being developed in image steganography, universal Steganalysis has become essential. In this paper, effectiveness of statistical moments of wavelet characteristic function and prediction error image is discussed. Stego image has irregular statistical characteristics as compared to cover image. Bayes classifier is used to discriminate the cover and stego image. Database of 67 natural, food and animals' images has been used for experimental work. This method has been tested against various popular steganography methods like Cox et al. spread spectrum technique, LSB generic, S-tool and F5 steganography algorithm.","PeriodicalId":174433,"journal":{"name":"2012 International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-05-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127362347","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Furthermore, the staleness of gathered data (due to network latency involved) and probable error in the selection of management task being carried over (owing to the staleness of data) reduces the reliability of the management applications. In this sense, use of mobile agents offer many possibilities for designing the next generation of distributed network management systems by reducing the management traffic around the management station and distribute processing load.. This paper discusses various mobile agent based network management models, the key advantages of mobile agents in the distributed network management systems and presents a mathematical model for the purpose of comparing client/server vs. mobile agent paradigms in terms of responsiveness and traffic generated around management station.","PeriodicalId":174433,"journal":{"name":"2012 International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-05-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129158189","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A coupler is just the point where two paths (wave guide) are brought together so that their evanescent field overlap and a power transfer from one port to other exist. The lattice structures allow a systematic approach to filter synthesis. They are suitable forms for performing the various signal processing operations. Compared to other forms, lattice structure has some advantageous characteristics. Recirculating/infinite impulse response (feed-backward) and nonrecirculating/finite impulse response (feed-forward) delay line are two structures that are basic to fiber-optic signal processing. Similarly, we can form the system consist of many more coupler system. In this paper we have analyzed the response of each combination. Later on we try to connect the z-transform domain into Laplace by replacing z=esT. By replacing the z by the expansion of esT for some number of elements we can obtain the similar types of response to check the validity of our approximations. Here in s-domain we can easily apply control theory concepts on these transfer formulas. In the end we have tried to obtain the time domain response of filter by using the z approximation in s.","PeriodicalId":174433,"journal":{"name":"2012 International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies","volume":"148 7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-05-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130106918","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This FinFET device uses Asymmetric Drain (AD), Asymmetric Drain Spacer Extension (ADSE) and Asymmetric Lateral Diffusion (ALD) techniques. The proposed structure exploits asymmetrical behavior of current to improve read-write stability for SRAM without compromising the cell area. As the asymmetry in Ids (drain to source) and Isd (source to drain) increases, improvement is observed in read, write and static noise margins. The write noise margin (WNM) and read noise margin (RNM) behavior is contradictory to each other, increase in one leads to decrease in other. It has been observed that by using asymmetric FinFETs altogether an overall improvement in static, read and write noise margins are 23.5, 19.3 and 12.4, percent respectively. Reduction in Average power is observed 21 percent.","PeriodicalId":174433,"journal":{"name":"2012 International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-05-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126444029","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Above all, an arbitrary positive scaling factor will be employed to multiply the maximum probabilities of every target associated with measurements. Then an exclusive measurement is defined for every target in the new algorithm, which is the maximum probability measurement associated with the target. The association probabilities of exclusive measurement with other targets except corresponding target are set at 0. At last, the association probabilities of every measurement will be given weights by means of the Entropy Value Method in the new algorithm. The simulation results show that the new algorithm can effectively solve the track coalescence problem in all kinds of scenarios and its track performance is better than the Joint Probabilistic Data Association algorithm's.","PeriodicalId":174433,"journal":{"name":"2012 International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-05-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127558951","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Security provisioning in a WSN requires balancing between two conflicting goals - security strength and resource efficiency. Most of the cryptosystems with security strength required in a WSN are highly resource intensive. Cryptographic operations consume processor power, time and memory space for storage of intermediate and final output. The cryptographic bits also constitute communication overhead that induces delay and decrease in throughput. To lessen the load on the resource constrained WSN without compromising security, HFE multivariate scheme is proposed. It is a type of multivariate cryptosystems in which linear equations are solved to obtain successive sets of central variables. The small number of operations and limited memory requirements make this scheme a potential candidate for security provisioning in WSN. Analysis shows that the scheme can be implemented on resource constrained sensor nodes. And cryptographic overheads induced by HFE scheme are within the tolerable limits of WSN applications.","PeriodicalId":174433,"journal":{"name":"2012 International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies","volume":"42 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-05-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121371666","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
