The cloud computing service model supplies various compute resources such as CPU, RAM and storage that are shared among various parties. As multiple tenants leverage a single platform, the tenants' applications running in cloud computing environment must be isolated between each other. This paper presents various methods used to achieve isolation between applications running on cloud computing platforms. The methods include compute resources virtualization, containers and similar technologies. The experimental model for the measurement of the piezoelectric ringing impact on the Pockels cell contrast ratio was created. The investigations of Pockels cell contrast ratio dependence on applied high-voltage pulse frequency for BBO crystals of three different dimensions (3×3×25 mm, 4×4×25 mm, 4×4×20 mm) have been performed. The obtained results show that the piezoelectric ringing effect can reduce the contrast ratio of investigated Pockels cells up to 15 times. The experimental stand to validate simulation results was designed and elaborated. The aim of investigation was to propose a technique for single sound source localization based on sound level differences in microphone array. A rectangular array of four microphones was used for sound capturing from single sound source. Location of the sound source is estimated by sending average amplitude of the signal, received from four microphones to a Multi-Layer Perceptron. Different structures of the MultiLayer Perceptron were tested on simulated sound source locations and on the real measured signals. Estimated relative sound source position prediction error was as low as 4 % in computer simulation and 1.9 % in practical experimentation. The three cores of 6-bit switch capacitor array provides wide LC-DCO tuning range. With 1.8 V supply voltage, simulation results show that the tuning range is from 2.37 GHz to 5.94 GHz, while average phase noise value across the entire tuning range is −135 dBc/Hz. Power dissipation is only 24 mW at 2.37 GHz. The dispersion of cloud service vendors means that most security issues are still addressed often as unique to the particular vendor or cloud computing system, lacking standardization of the procedures and protocols that users and vendors follow when implementing a cloud computing system and running it. This paper deals with cloud computing security management. QoE is usually quantified by self-evaluated subjective scales. However, continuous improvement of signal acquisition, signal processing technologies and increase of computational efficiency enabled the use of physiological signals to evaluate users QoE. In this study the analysis of physiological signals (electroencephalography — EEG) was investigated in order to explore a possibility to evaluate the QoE through the Sense of Presence (SoP). In order to obtain more information about objective QoE evaluation, a dataset of audiovisual stimuli under different SoP was investigated focusing on a relationship between collected subjective assessments and measured physiological signals. Statistical analysis suggests that there exists a relationship between spectral features of EEG and subjective assessment questionnaire results. During investigation, presented in this paper a significant changes in the theta band power was found in all investigated regions. In addition, alpha band activity was shown to change under different levels of the SoP of the frontal, central and occipital lobes. Beta low band activity showed significant changes in the parietal and temporal lobes, beta middle oscillations showed significant differences in the frontal lobe, beta high in temporal lobe. It is known that a mean-square error function is multiextremal for time delay even if the system parameters are known in advance. For this purpose an approach used to transform the multiextremal criterion into an unimodal function, in respect of the time delay, is developed and analyzed. Afterwards, it is possible to estimate unknown parameters and the time delay recursively by processing in each recursion pairs of input-output observation samples. The recursive approach based on the method of corrective operators is developed for the nonstationary dynamical systems with different excitations and additive noises, having the rational spectrum. The quality classical law of regulation can be improved using non-linear control loop for the difference between the set value and the actual value. At a preliminary investigation phase two non-linear functions (polygonal and logarithmic) which can be easily implemented by existing means of regulation of technological processes on production were chosen. Regulators setting was made by means of simulation modelling system and numerical minimization of the modified integral criterion. The studies were conducted in the MatLab. Operation of regulators was examined for a wide class of objects. Limited memory and processing power of embedded devices requires simple yet robust speaker recognition algorithm. In this work the influence of histograms of fast binary features from raw audio signal on speaker recognition is investigated. Librispeech dataset with audio records is being analyzed. Histograms of binary features are calculated on raw audio data and set of histograms' parameters and distance functions is applied to minimize recognition errors by calculating false acceptance, false rejection error rates and ranking.
