The situation in Vancouver is the same. This paper focuses on forecasting crime-prone areas (using the XGBOOST algorithm) based on data currently available for that area. Along with prediction, we built it so that the crime hotspots for any date, month, year, and time combination can display on a Google map, making the work of the governing agency easier and more efficient, helping to reduce Vancouver’s crime rate.","PeriodicalId":170905,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering and Medical Sciences (ICETEMS)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129883812","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Testing such memories is extremely important in the manufacturing process. Minimizing the test power is necessary as power consumption should not exceed the power constraint of the System-On-Chip. The linear feedback register can be used as an address generator in memories to reduce power consumption. So this paper presents an improvised clocking scheme for the address generator for memory built-in self-test. The modified low-power Linear Feedback Shift Register (LFSR) is used as an address generator or test pattern generator. The new clocking scheme decreases the number of switching activities in the address generator. There is 60% reduction in the switching activity. Address generators are simulated using Xilinx ISE 14.7 & compared results with the conventional LFSR with reference to switching activity & test power.","PeriodicalId":170905,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering and Medical Sciences (ICETEMS)","volume":"36 1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130796345","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This manual process has many limitations like arranging of multiple coordinators with the capability of delivering information about a particular project effectively. To overcome this problem, an android based application name Innovation Gallery is proposed, which helps visitors to get the information related to that project as soon as they place the camera in front of object. Before visiting the gallery or exhibition, visitors need to install the proposed application on android mobile phone. Once they place the camera on the respective project of the gallery, it displayed the information related to that project on the mobile screen as augmented text. The proposed approach developed using the YOLO algorithm and successfully tested on image datasets of gallery projects. The given approach is compare with Unity for a similar type of image dataset. It performed well in terms of accuracy, but somewhat lagging in terms of speed.","PeriodicalId":170905,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering and Medical Sciences (ICETEMS)","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133275493","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The retinal image is the basic factor for ophthalmologists to diagnose the different damages in the eye. Traditional eye check-ups are done using an ophthalmoscope or retinoscope. These are the traditional methods wherein the diagnosis is based on the observation of the doctor. To capture a high-resolution cross-section of the retina of patients, the Retinal optical coherence Tomography (OCT) imaging technique was used. OCT images are effective in the display and diagnosis of many retinal conditions. Artificial intelligence (AI) has made a major impact in the domain of medical surgery. In this paper, we have used data consisting of OCT images to identify abnormalities occurring in them compared to a healthy normal eye. We have used Deep learning methods to make effective use of OCT images in processing data and training the model to interpret the type of damage illustrated in it and make decisions based on it. We have proposed to implement a Sequential Model in Keras to detect which retinal damage is present in the OCT image and classify them into four classes- CNV, DME, DRUSEN & NORMAL based on its validation accuracy. To improve the accuracy, we have modified the sets of convolutions with a varied number of layers. We have further tried to increase the validation accuracy by the use of the Sequential model, ResNet50 model, and ResNet50V2 model. Out of all the models that have been used, the Resnet50 model proved to give the highest validation accuracy of97%. The given project would be helpful to Ophthalmologists to give fast, reliable, and efficient diagnoses of the eye with would aid them to begin the treatment of that damage at an early stage.","PeriodicalId":170905,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering and Medical Sciences (ICETEMS)","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122335956","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Specialists can use panoramic dental radiograph analysis to uncover issues in low-light locations, inside the buccal cavities, or even narrow regions. Weak picture resolution or weariness, on the other hand, can lead the diagnosis to differ, making therapy more difficult. With the help of comprehensive x-ray pictures, the automated tooth detection and dental condition classification method we present in this study, medical practitioners can make more accurate diagnosis decisions. In order to conduct this study, panoramic radiographics from three dental offices were gathered and interpreted, showcasing 14 different potential tooth problems. An annotated dataset was used to train CNN and acquire semantic segmentation data. Then, different image processing methods were applied to segment and fine-tune the bounding boxes corresponding to the teeth defections. The final step involved labelling each tooth sample inside the identified area of interest and using histogram-based majority voting to determine the issues that affected it. Some of the criteria used to assess the developed method included specificity, memory, result for derived bounded area detection, and intersection over union in supervised classification. The outcomes were contrasted with information from different approaches and found to be superior, demonstrating the proposed solutions’ superiority. In addition, tasks such as tooth categorization, identification of illnesses and severe gum disease like periodontitis, and how much cavity cleaning should be done are completed.","PeriodicalId":170905,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering and Medical Sciences (ICETEMS)","volume":"232 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-18","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126143587","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
