It is a broad term that covers autism spectrum\u0000disorders, too. The primary cause of Unmada, as explained in Ayurveda, is the derangement in Manas (mental\u0000functioning), Budhi (application of the acquired knowledge), Samjna(perceptions), Jnana(experiences), Smriti(memory), Bhakti (emotional adhesions), Seela (conditioned activities). According to Ayurveda, the symptoms\u0000of autism spectrum disorders as per DSM V criteria are diminished social interaction, impaired language and restricted repetitive behaviours (RRB), which can be co-related with Unmada. Aim and Objective- Ayurvedic\u0000management of Autism symptoms w.s.r. Unmada: A case study in the present case study, A diagnosed case of\u0000ASD, age four years female, came to OPD of Kaumarbhritya, Rishikul Ayurvedic College and Hospital, Haridwar. Along with the addiction to watching mobile. Materials and methods: The treatment protocol of Unmada,\u0000like Balpanchkarma, speech therapy, and parent counselling, are adopted with classical medication according to\u0000the Dosha predominance. Result -Balpanchkarma, like Nasya being the Dwara to Shiras, opens up the Manovaha\u0000Srotas, Speech therapy for speaking and communication skills development, Parental counselling for social skill\u0000development, restriction of watching mobile, etc. These procedures, along with the internal medications, have improved the present case.

The therapeutic efficacy of Dravya depends on its Rasa-Panchaka, especially Veerya. Veerya is the potency of a Dravya that allows the Dravya to exhibit its action. It is the ultra-chemical action of the drug and it can be found in two kinds: 1. Usna Veerya (Hot in potency), which is Vata-Kapha Doshahara and 2. Shita Veerya (Cold in power) is Pitta Doshahara. Hence Veerya of Dravya has significant role in treatment. To determine the potency of drug, the concept of Endothermic and Exothermic reactions play an imperative role. In this experiment, Trayushana: - Shunti, Maricha, Pippali also known as Trikatu, the three indispensable drugs used in Ayurveda were taken for the assessment of Veerya. Results of this study demonstrated the Usna Veerya property of Shunti and Maricha and Anushna Veerya property of Pippali.

Takradhara is the most important variety of Shirodhara, where medicated Takra is used for the procedure. Dhara, simply with raw buttermilk, is very rare. Usually, Takra is mixed with Amalakikashaya or other Dravadravyas. Changing the liquid as per the Dosha condition with necessary alteration in its process is helpful to alleviate any Dosha. This Dhara also balances the derangement of Tridoshas and improves the strength of all Indriyas. As a whole, Takradhara is a very simple, cost-effective, and non-invasive procedure under Chaturvidha Moordhni Taila. Other Shirodharas mentioned in Dharakalpa are Ksheera Dhara, Stanya Dhara, and Snehadhara, where Takradhara is considered supreme. It can be done in Sarvanga or Ekanga, depending upon the condition. It can be used effectively in the management of various disorders, especially those that are psychosomatic and with a predominance of Vata and Pitta Dosha.

It mainly affects adolescents and can have a significant negative impact on their psychological functioning. Clinical manifestation is characterised by four types: open comedones, closed comedones, papules, pustules, and nodulocystic lesions. In Ayurvedic classics, it is described under Kshudra Roga as Yuvanpidika or Mukh-dusika, the eruptions like Salmali thorn on the face and upper trunk during adulthood, caused by vitiation of Kapha, Vata, and Rakta. Main clinical findings: In this case, a 14-year-old male patient came to the outdoor patient department (OPD) of Kaumarabhritya with complaints of pimples, burning sensation and mild pain on both cheeks and forehead. Diagnosis: The condition was diagnosed as Acne vulgaris (Ayurvedic diagnosis: Yuvanpidika or Mukh-dusika). Intervention: The patient was prescribed Kostha-shuddhi with Avipattikar Churna, followed by Shaman and Rasayana drugs in the sequence. Outcome: Complete relief was found in patient complaints. Pimples disappeared completely, and burning and pain were absent. Normal skin pigmentation is achieved with an increased glow on the skin. Conclusion: This article is an attempt to show the efficacy of Kostha-shuddhi and Rasayana drugs in the treatment of Yuvan Pidika.

The prevalence of age-related macular degeneration (ARMD/AMD) ranges from 8% to 30% in individuals aged 65 and older, with higher rates among older age groups. ARMD can be categorized into dry (atrophic) and wet (neovascular) forms. Diagnosis is based on clinical examination, imaging tests, and visual function assessments. Current treatment options include anti-vascular endothelial growth factor (antiVEGF) therapy, photodynamic therapy, and nutritional supplementation. In Ayurveda, ARMD is understood as a manifestation of vitiation in the Pitta and Vata doshas, leading to impairment of the Rakta dhatu (~blood tissue) and the nourishing aspect of Rasa dhatu (~nutrient plasma). The vitiated doshas and impaired dhatus lead to the formation of Ama (~toxins) and the accumulation of lipid and protein in the macular region. Ayurvedic treatment aims to balance Doshas, improve Agni (~digestive power), eliminate Ama, and strengthen Ojas. These approaches aim to slow down the progression of the disease, protect vision, and improve overall eye health. Further research and clinical studies are needed to explore the effectiveness of Ayurvedic interventions in managing ARMD.

Small blood vessels are susceptible to the complications of diabetes mellitus, such as basal lamina thickening and endothelial cell proliferation called diabetic microangiopathy, frequently causing retinal and renal damage. Microangiopathy affecting the kidney is called diabetic nephropathy and is the second leading cause of death due to diabetes mellitus after myocardial infarction. Due to the persistent hyperglycemic status of microcapillaries in the kidney, some histological changes occur in the nephron level detected by electron microscopy only after a few years of onset of diabetes [1]. This is a case report of a known diabetic and hypertensive patient who complained of frothy urine and was diagnosed as type 2 diabetes-induced microalbuminuria and intervened with Kathaka Khadiradi Kashaya, a traditional antidiabetic formulation famous in South India. Two months of administration of the medicine reduced the urine microalbumin and albumin creatinine ratio to a significant normalcy, hence proved to be a choice for a clinical trial in the preventive aspect of diabetic nephropathy.
