A physical experiment to measure changes in impedance and maximum temperature on the inductor housing during long-term industrial furnace operation was conducted. The mathematical simulation of temperature distribution over the volume of thermal insulation of the inductor in the case of melt leakage into the thermal insulation was carried out. The simulation was performed by the finite element method in the Comsol software environment. The peculiarities of change in the impedance and surface temperature of the inductor depending on the penetration rate of the melt into its thermal insulation are revealed. On the basis of these peculiarities, an improvement of the method of estimation of the wear degree of thermal insulation of inductors of channel furnaces is proposed. It is in using additional control of changes in temperature distribution on the surface of their housing and carrying out mathematical modeling. Such method will allow to diagnose more precisely the condition of thermal insulation and to prevent in advance the emergency modes of furnace operation, connected with the leakage of molten metal.","PeriodicalId":169630,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 7th International Conference on Energy Smart Systems (ESS)","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125220851","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Prediction of the permissible service life-time is carried out with the use of numerical studies of the thermal and stress-strain state of the turbine during typical operating regimes, taking into account real operating conditions. A technique is proposed for studying accumulated low-cycle fatigue and exhausting the long-term strength of the base metal of turbines of nuclear power plants.","PeriodicalId":169630,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 7th International Conference on Energy Smart Systems (ESS)","volume":"08 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127304282","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The appearance of generating sources in the structure of electric networks can have a significant effect on the whole spectrum of technical and economic indicators of distribution systems. At the same time, in many cases, renewable energy sources are used as DG. Their peculiarity is the inability to accurately predict the output power. Thus, a such energy sources introduce some peculiar properties into the process of modeling of distribution network modes of operation, which is related to the need to take into account the uncertainty factor. In this regard, the paper deals with the justification of the power and operating modes of DG sources when they are integrated into certain nodes of distribution networks in order to minimize operational costs, considering information uncertainty.","PeriodicalId":169630,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 7th International Conference on Energy Smart Systems (ESS)","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131591769","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

At the same time, the power supply system has to be stable on changes in power consumption and have the necessary specific energy intensity. The purpose of the work is to explain the transition to a new circuit design of the traction network using additional generators of electric energy. The proposed asymmetrical power supply system of the electric rolling stock allows to provide the required voltage level on the electric locomotive current collectors, to reduce the range of its changes and to reduce the power losses by 14.3% compared to the symmetrical centralized power supply circuit design with passive boosting of the traction network.","PeriodicalId":169630,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE 7th International Conference on Energy Smart Systems (ESS)","volume":"5092 2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124266159","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
