Muñoz-Rodríguez, Noelia Morales-Romo, Raul De Tapia-Martín","doi":"10.7179/PSRI_2019.34.09","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.7179/PSRI_2019.34.09","url":null,"abstract":"El objetivo de este estudio es conocer los modelos mentales de percepcion sobre el termino “medio ambiente”, para comprobar que tipo de modelos existen en la mentalidad de los sujetos y cuales deben ser los mecanismos para avanzar hacia la sostenibilidad a traves de la educacion ambiental. La metodologia seguida ha consistido en un analisis de contenido interpretativo e inferencial. La prueba ha consistido en que cada individuo plasmara en un dibujo el concepto que tiene sobre el termino de “medio ambiente”, en una muestra de 351 individuos, verificando la ausencia o presencia de los elementos correspondientes a las 16 categorias establecidas a traves de una matriz de recogida de datos. Los resultados arrojan 6 modelos representativos del “medio ambiente”. Las principales conclusiones indican que para la mayoria de la poblacion “medio ambiente” es un termino principalmente biologico, que integra aspectos naturales, y para un porcentaje significativamente menor es un termino que integra los aspectos biotico, social y tecnologico del mismo. Difficulty in promoting adequate engagement and retention of participants is one of the most powerful obstacles and challenges to the implementation and dissemination of evidence-based family interventions. Although a wide range of strategies to involve parents in interventions is described in the literature, little is known as to what strategies are most effective in improving parental involvement. We conducted a systematic review of the predictors of parent participation and enhancement strategies in preventive parenting programs. Key inclusion criteria included: 1) evidence-based studies with a family intervention component, theoretical and empirical reviews of the literature, and systematic reviews; 2) articles published in Portuguese, English, and Spanish; 3) published between 2000 to 2018. Thirty-nine articles reported a variety of predictors of family participation and effective methods to engage families in preventive activities. Four basic dimensions emerged: 1) predictors of participation; 2) characteristics associated with the program; 3) obstacles to participation; and 4) strategies to minimize barriers to participation. Four distinct groups of participation predictors were identified: 1) patterns of family interaction; 2) parents' cognitions and attributions regarding their child's behavioral problems; 3) psychological variables related to parents; and 4) parental perception of intervention. A variety of intrinsic and extrinsic intervention attributes were associated with involvement in family programs. Some obstacles to participation included several logistical issues and circumstances within the family’s social environment. {"title":"Universal prevention. Evaluation of the effects of the universal Spanish strengthening families program in elementary schools and high schools (SFP-U 11-14)","authors":"C. Evaluar el proceso y los resultados de la fase de validacion del Programa de Competencia Familiar Universal (PCF-U 11-14), basado en la evidencia y aplicable en contextos educativos (centros de primaria y secundaria). En la revision del marco teorico se constata la ausencia de programas de trabajo socioeducativo con familias basados en la evidencia, de caracter universal. Metodo. Diseno quasi-experimental antes-despues con grupo de control para la evaluacion de la fase de validacion del PCF (2018) en Baleares y Castilla y Leon. Se desarrollaron 16 grupos experimentales y 17 grupos de control, en los que participaron 353 padres y 289 adolescentes. La intervencion consistio en 6 sesiones. La informacion se recogio con cuestionarios validados. Resultado. El analisis de los efectos sobre los padres y los hijos confirma los buenos resultados obtenidos. El numero de participantes se redujo a 305 padres y madres (retencion del 86,40%) y a 262 hijos (retencion del 90,66%). El grado de satisfaccion de los participantes con diversos aspectos del programa fue muy alto. Se identificaron aspectos clave y areas de mejora para el futuro de la intervencion. Se observaron mejoras en la mayoria de las dimensiones evaluadas. For that purpose, 202 families (Christian and Muslim) were interviewed; all of them members of the different NGOs that care of provide services to the disabled collective of the city. This exploratory and descriptive study adopts a methodological approach of a quantitative nature, developed through the application of a questionnaire on attitudes of families towards disability, based on the Salamanca Family Quality of Life Scale. The variables under study were Disability Perception, Support Network, Demand for Resources and Respite and Leisure. The main results of the study made it possible to detect different deficiencies in terms of accessibility, locomotion, technical resources, economic resources, leisure activities, social integration, training and work orientation, which were lower than expected. At the same time, it was possible to verify that, depending on the type of NGO that provided services, the opinions varied in all the dependent variables. En este complicado contexto nos preguntamos acerca de las herramientas con las que cuentan para enfrentarse a esta nueva situacion, presentandose la Inteligencia Emocional y la Resiliencia como dos variables relacionadas con el exito (escolar, social, laboral y relacional) y la superacion de situaciones adversas. Asi, los objetivos de nuestro estudio eran conocer las puntuaciones en Inteligencia Emocional y Resiliencia de estos menores residentes en centros de proteccion y compararlas con las puntuaciones de menores que no residen en este tipo de recursos. Esperabamos encontrar diferencias significativas entre ambos grupos, donde los menores que residen en algun recurso de proteccion obtienen puntuaciones significativamente inferiores en estas dos variables a los menores que residen en su unidad familiar y sin vinculacion y/o relacion alguna con los servicios sociales. Para el diseno se ha decidido seleccionar a jovenes de ambos grupos que estan estudiando 3o, 4o de ESO y 1o, 2o de Bachillerato para controlar variables relacionadas con nivel academico, formacion y motivaciones familiares. Se ha construido un cuestionario que recoge informacion sociofamiliar e incluye el TMMS-24 (Fernandez-Berrocal, Extremera & Ramos, 2004) para recoger la informacion relativa a las creencias de estos jovenes sobre su inteligencia emocional y el RESI-m (Palomar & Gomez, 2010) para recoger la informacion relativa a Resiliencia. Los resultados muestran que existen diferencias significativas en las puntuaciones obtenidas por ambos grupos. {"title":"Ocio deportivo en jóvenes potencialmente vulnerables : beneficios percibidos y organización de la práctica","authors":"Raúl Fraguela Vale, Á. Oliva, R. A su vez, la practica de ocio deportivo es reconocida como una herramienta de primer orden para lograr la socializacion de los jovenes potencialmente vulnerables. Este estudio analizo la incidencia de la vulnerabilidad en los habitos de ocio deportivos de los jovenes; en sus preferencias de practica fisico deportiva de forma estructurada o libre; y, finalmente, en la percepcion sobre los beneficios que conlleva esta practica. Para ello se realizo un diseno de investigacion cuantitativo en el que se aplico un cuestionario elaborado ad hoc a un total de 2694 estudiantes espanoles de Educacion Post-obligatoria no universitaria, de los que 785 fueron considerados como participantes en potencial riesgo de vulnerabilidad. Los resultados revelaron que existen diferencias entre los jovenes potencialmente vulnerables y no vulnerables en cuanto a la practica de actividades de ocio deportivo. La poblacion en riesgo de vulnerabilidad manifiesto habitos de ocio menos activos que los no vulnerables. Asimismo, se encontro que los jovenes vulnerables tenian una mayor tendencia a la practica de ocio deportivo por su cuenta, frente a los no vulnerables que preferian realizar deporte de forma organizada. De la misma forma, los jovenes potencialmente vulnerables percibieron menores beneficios de la practica deportiva que los no vulnerables.
