The author has presented turbofan’s motion equations, has established the new gas-dynamic and fluid mechanics conditions when the coolant injection operates and has determined all new equation forms. Based on the finite differences method, turbofan’s mathematical model was linearized and new forms for equations’ coefficients were established. After bringing its equations to a dimensionless form and after Laplace transformation applying, mathematical model’s suitable form for studies was obtained. Much of what we used to take for granted is now gradually being digitized. The use of software solutions to monitor daily physical activity is gaining popularity among users. The purpose of this article is to provide an application that highlights the human need to monitor their health as well as the utility of the Android operating system's resources. Today's society focuses a decreasing emphasis on health; gastronomic trends abound, and individuals fail to prioritize the most vital part, health. Of course, in addition to these inclinations, digitalization itself is a detrimental component in our rapidly deteriorating sporting discipline. Today's children increasingly choose to play on the computer or look at their phones for hours on end, but this is also becoming more common in their parents and even elderly adults. This negative consequence also draws attention to the less visible aspect of digitalization, which is frequently, if not always, purposefully neglected. We obviously need to make use of the great parts of technology, but we also need to be intelligent enough to see the less pleasant aspects, even if it makes it more difficult. The goal of this work is to monitor the user's physical activity anytime they choose, while also providing them with various statistics based on the outcome of their action. In fact, the study concentrates on an enhanced pedometer, which delivers numerous continually updated data reports on the level of intensity of the user's activity. Our motivation for accessing the operand values is given because computer programs, in particular graphic and multimedia applications, are characterized by a high degree of redundancy which can be exploited by dynamic instruction reuse techniques. This paper falls into the category of \"open architectures\" starting from the open-source concept, as it provides researchers with a methodology for reading the values of instruction operands. The most important added value is a technical one, comprising details about the simulator’s architecture and our modifications. Furthermore, we propose a simulation methodology to study the potential reusability of specific types of dynamic instructions. The experimental study is done on the SPLASH-II benchmark suite under different parameters using the modified simulator. Among parameters we vary the number of cores, the compiler optimization method and the operand history length (depth of different operand values stored for each instruction). Our results are indicating a promising potential of reusability, on average varying from 84% to 87%, on selected types of dynamic instructions and lead to the idea of implementing a 4-way associative reuse buffer in a multi/many-core system. The level of optimization of the compiler influences the degree of reusability and overall performance. In these systems, Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) can provide the required real-time and reliable communication services. TSN requires precision, hardware-assisted time synchronization provided by the IEEE 802.1AS-Rev or its progenitor, IEEE 1588. IEEE 1588 has a long history in distributed measurement systems, such as vehicular test systems, energy distribution, astrophysics, communication systems such as 4G and 5G, etc. Most modern hardware supports the hardware requirements for IEEE 1588 or IEEE 802.1AS-Rev in some respect; however, software support is very limited on network embedded microcontrollers (MCU), i.e., most modern MCUs do not have open-source, free SW support for time synchronization. We have developed flexPTP (https://github.com/epagris/flexPTP), an open-source, open-licensed PTP implementation for MCUs based on FreeRTOS (embedded real-time OS for MCUs) and lwIP (a TCP/IP stack for MCUs). During the development of the project, we have also created a distributed measurement system for the performance evaluation of flexPTP, which is built into flexPTP. The system can be used during development, but it is also applicable for online monitoring. The data collection component of the distributed measurement system collects data from the MCUs running flexPTP in a lightweight, low resource utilization, platform-independent, MCU-conform way, and forwards the information to a central node, on which data storage, analyses, and presentation can be done. We have also developed a WEB application for online supervision of synchronization in a browser. The system also has a self-discovery feature, allowing developers to identify all nodes capable of running the data collection component of the measurement system. In the paper, we will also present the initial performance evaluation results collected from our implementation. They are used in a wide variety of applications to improve the anti-corrosion properties of materials, increasing micro-hardness and tribological properties. Plasma electrolytic oxidation (PEO) is an electrochemical and environmentally friendly process that improves the surface quality of metal parts. The surface characteristics of the metal substrate are heavily modified by electrochemical reactions accompanied by plasma micro - discharges. A modern power supply system based on power electronics is proposed in this paper. More precisely, two switching DC power sources and an adaptive two-position static switch (as a power switch) are used, made with modern transistors, with low losses. Furthermore, a proportional-integral (PI) controller with saturation elimination is designed for this system. The saturation occurs when the error has a very large value change (such as a large increase in the case of a discharge that can be equated to a limited short circuit). In this situation, the integrator induces a high overshoot value due to the large increase of the error and can no longer control the value of the output voltage of the direct current sources. An increasing error that accumulates permanently during the transient mode produces the saturation of the component corresponding to the integrator, causing a large overshoot. When the error becomes negative, the overshoot will remain at a positive value for a period of time before returning to normal. The realization of the power supplies requires that they be immune, fully protected, to the short circuits in the reactor, and their operation in the imposed conditions can be ensured. The system allows the supply with positive and / or negative direct current voltage as well as with positive and / or negative, symmetrical and /or asymmetric pulses with limitation of the current slope. One of the solutions for monitoring the vibration signals and temperature sensors can be the development of a local data acquisition system. This system must process the local information and be able to deliver the processed information to a higher-level system. The local system must have a high acquisition speed to facilitate real-time processing, considering the practical case of risk systems. The software design was done in the LabVIEW graphical development environment and LabWindows CVI. The proposed systems combine the reliability and robustness of programmable controllers (PLC - Programmable Logic Controller), with the performance of a PC (Personal Computer), with the flexibility of Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) circuits. The paper deal with the synthesis and simulation of robust control of continuous steel casting in the secondary cooling zone. During steel production, there is a smooth change between the types of steel produced (or steel grades), to which the control system must react flexibly. Therefore, a robust approach based on simple PID controllers will be chosen for control synthesis. Based on the model obtained from the ProCast software, the uncertainty limits for the simulation model will be determined. Robust control simulations will be performed on a time-space circuit, within the simulations a possible machine failure will be tested, thus a change in cooling power in individual zones. The analysis is presented on an orchard 4.0 concept.The proposed orchard includes a sensor network (containing mainly measurements of hydrometeorological and soil variables), camera monitoring of conditions, and yield, support for autonomous robotic care and harvesting based on machine vision, prediction of appropriate times for interventions, etc. Requirements specification for mentioned system is written in natural language.A sentence splitting, Tokenization, Lemmatization, and POS (Part-of-Speech) tagging methods are applied to the mentioned structured requirements of the system and Use Case description. From these and by means of NLP, the candidates of classes, attributes, operations, and associations of the UML (Unified Modeling Language) class diagram are filtered and the UML model is synthesized. Some of the common fields with IoT direct impact are industry, health, transportation, smart cities and smart buildings. The challenge on this new evolution is how to use the gathered data. Reports and data analysis are used from long time over big set of data and they will still remain an important purpose of this data. Recently, data received from sensors is used not only to trigger decision based on instant values but also to perform analysis on data stored and take decisions in real time, based on the data analysis. Because the data stored is huge and very diverse as format, various solutions to extract potentially dangerous data patterns in real time were studied. noSQL (non-relational database) and SQL (relational database) are used to store data in IoT systems. noSQL based solutions will store sensor data not depending on their type and format while a SQL one will keep the format with the main advantage of speed. This paper proposes two interconnected systems based on both databases: a noSQL for all data received from sensors, used later for reports and a SQL one with critical data, used to detect critical data patterns. The detection of critical data is performed on programmable gateway level and directed to the corresponding server. This paper discusses an architecture aiming to optimize critical pattern detection using jobs running on specific, customized, time interval. The time interval is chosen depending on data type. This paper focused on the most common control strategies known as predictive control, by developing a model, based on the sensors embedded in the Tello quad-rotor used for indoors purposes. The original controller of Tello quad-rotor is supposed a slave, where the designed model predictive controller is created in MATLAB and imported to another embedded system supposed as a master.
