The proposed configuration can realize floating resistor or floating capacitor on proper selection of passive components. The value of simulated floating capacitance or floating resistance can be tuned electronically by varying the bias currents of VDCC. The proposed circuit does not need any matching constraints, has low sensitivity values and exhibit good non-ideal behaviour. To verify the working of proposed circuit, a low-pass filter has been designed and tested. The performance of presented configuration has been validated by SPICE Simulations.","PeriodicalId":167368,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Micro-Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ICMETE)","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121634151","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Because we know that body cell content different type of nutrient elements such as Amino acid, phosphorous etc., blood contains iron, haemoglobin, sodium etc. So the elements in the cells, blood and other parts of human body can be determine individually by using the ion selective electrode because ion selective electrode respond to a particular ion or element. In ion selective electrode method Nernst Equation is generally used. This method works as a new technology for sensing the selective element in suitable manner within a specified limit. In biomedical researches ion selective electrode can be used for DNA, RNA study purpose because DNA and RNA are the nuclear acids and these acids can be analysed by using ion selective electrode method. Ion selective electrode method works on the potentiometric behaviour and linear regression model. Linear regression model is made by using the Nernst equation with the help of least square method. In this method there are many potentiometric calculations are performed and finally their mean is used as result for the concentration of elemental analysis. Generally ion selective electrode has wide range of operation for 5×10-5 mol/l. to 1×10-1 mol/l.","PeriodicalId":167368,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Micro-Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ICMETE)","volume":"42 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122749612","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Till now several approaches to same problem have been measured in existing reconstruction algorithms. They provide a compromise between restoration capabilities and required computational time. In an effort to push the limits for this compromise, we consider a smoothed l0 norm (SL0) algorithm in a noiseless setup. In this paper, we proposed modified version of SL0 algorithm for modern wireless communication system. We argue that using a set of meticulously chosen parameters in our proposed modified SL0 algorithm may result in considerably good restoration capabilities in terms of phase transition while required less computational time as existing SL0 algorithms. A large set of simulations further support this claim. Simulation results show that, comparing with SL0 algorithm, the proposed method can exploit the sparse property with good performance.","PeriodicalId":167368,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Micro-Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ICMETE)","volume":"28 10","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134092904","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Automated classification of advertisement videos from the general program videos is emerging as an essential task that is expected to support the television (TV) viewers to have a seamless visual experience without being hampered by commercial advertisement videos (ADD). The demand for a solution is gaining momentum which will enable the viewers to skip the advertisements and move automatically to another channel. This can be achieved just by classifying the extracted frames of videos of advertisements and non-advertisements videos (NADD) which consist of more visual information. In this present work, the descriptive feature is derived through the block intensity comparison technique and applied on 8x8 block size of the frames. The best performing features are identified and selected by decision tree (J48) algorithm and these selected features are used for classification by the Ripple Down Rule Learner (RIDOR) algorithm. The experimental results demonstrate the performance evaluation of RIDOR algorithm, the importance of dimensionality reduction and the comparative study of various classifiers. Therefore, RIDOR achieved the best classification accuracy of 87.12% is reported for further study.","PeriodicalId":167368,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Conference on Micro-Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ICMETE)","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131676105","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this directional coupler, we have used two coupled line sections for coupling and connected two uncoupled left handed (LH) transmission lines as delay lines. It is shown that in this design of a 3 dB directional coupler, we are able to achieve high directivity of approximately 85 dB and tight coupling within the operating frequency range. This directional coupler is behaving like an ideal coupler. When the odd and even mode velocities are made equal at a centre frequency, high directivity is obtained. Manual designing of the complex chips are no longer possible. This situation has led to the proliferation of automated Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools. These have also have lead to the development of the standard cell design methodologies and the semi custom design solutions. The standard cell can be used for a particular function and this eases the design segment manpower and effort. Secondly, the complex circuits in dire necessity of low power operation, necessitates the non-conventional low power design methodologies such as the reversible logic. They play a significant role in the design of digital circuits due to its distinguishing feature of incurring low power dissipation. This paper portrays the design and standard cell characterization of the reversible logic.
