O „zabudnutí“ na Marxa

Yet, can we bid farewell to Marx? Contrary to the positive answer to this question by the author of the book Forgetting Marx, the paper claims that, rather than forgetting, there is every reason to revise Marx. Marx keeps returning to the intellectual arena because we are still faced with the same problems that he attempted to solve. Today‘s world, which is capitalist in nature, cannot be understood without Marx‘s work. So far, there has not been a more comprehen-sive or exact scientific methodology for analysing and understand-ing the contemporary world than historical materialism. To ‚forget‘ Marx would thus be inappropriate, misleading and calculated.","PeriodicalId":166511,"journal":{"name":"Philosophica Critica","volume":"42 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131900656","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The work follows the Czech school of philosophy of education, founded by Jan Patočka, for whom education is synonymous with care for the soul. On the one hand, Zuzana Svobodová seeks the contribution of the philosophical foundation of education for religious education, on the other hand, she points out that education itself is religious. Both of these aspects meet in the key concept of non-indifference, which Svobodová calls relating to the inaccessible basis of reality and the effort to become similar to the truth. The author of the study describes the concept of non-indifference (to-gether with dialogue and reverence) as a solid philosophical basis not only for religious education, but also for the entire educational part of the state educational program entitled Man and the Values","PeriodicalId":166511,"journal":{"name":"Philosophica Critica","volume":"16 5","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"113970767","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

I work with later Wittgenstein’s thesis according to which there is a difference between ordinary and philosophical doubt, I call them local and global doubts. According to Wittgenstein, philosophical doubt is not rooted in any language game, since it doubts something undoubtable. In a similar way, I distinguish local and global imagining suggesting only the local one can bring a piece of knowledge. In the last part of the paper I search for scientific evidence for my thesis and conclude that only particular examples help us to learn or predict our future experience.","PeriodicalId":166511,"journal":{"name":"Philosophica Critica","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115822532","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

At the same time, I understand identity as a regulative principle, which provides direction to identity as a mode of social experience, but in no way ensures its contents. Specifically, I will articulate my thoughts on the relation between difference (the distinctions and possibilities of identity as a differentiating factor) and distance (detachment, spacing and possibilities of identity as a collective actio per distans). I will pose and attempt to answer the question of whether the term identity can be infused through sources, which each self-identifying subject (the individual, various communi-cative public groupings, nations, cultures, civilisations) creates through active, energetic action.","PeriodicalId":166511,"journal":{"name":"Philosophica Critica","volume":"41 2","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"113991589","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It mainly wants to outline and explain the implicit motivations, which form the framework of an access to science, which is considered consti-tutive to Modern Era and its inherent dependence on mathematical science of nature. The question of metaphysics is shown as an op-portunity for asking about its specificity and its own way of being real. Its relation to philosphy which is capable of demonstrating the pivotal intention of modern science. Patočka´s approach to these questions opens a possibility of non-metaphysical philosophy. Negative Platonism is Patočka´s concretisation of non-metaphys-ical philosphy. It can be understood as an incessant urgency of a specifically human and fundamental possibility of life lived phil-osophically, which means, as a relentless shaking and distanciation from beings.","PeriodicalId":166511,"journal":{"name":"Philosophica Critica","volume":"59 1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123252583","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Logic and Early Christianity 逻辑学与早期基督教

In effect, two questions are raised: First, what was the attitude of the early Christian writers towards logic and dialectics? And second, how does the period and whatever could be found there relate to the subsequent development of logic? The suggested conclusion is that the enmity of early Christians to logic can be explained by the divergent standards of truth: revealed and non-intellectualist nature of its central doctrines, also by the association of logical matters with pagan philosophy. On the other hand the period seems to have laid the grounds for the subsequent rediscovery of internal need for the standardized criterion of truth, and so the resultant establishment of logic as an important discipline, and thus this period is essential for understanding the subsequent flow of the history of logic. Hence the gap in the history lurking between pagan Antiquity and Boethius can reasonably be filled.","PeriodicalId":166511,"journal":{"name":"Philosophica Critica","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130165678","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A purpose of ours is to investigate a part of an extremely systematic attempt in the context of Ancient Greek Philosophy to structure philosophy of that selfhood which is aware of its duty towards both itself and social body. In our elaboration, we make some references to Modern and Contemporary philosophy, since their representatives dealt systematically with this field.","PeriodicalId":166511,"journal":{"name":"Philosophica Critica","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123489716","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
