Leaders who carry out their leadership effectively can lead others to achieve the goals; on the contrary, leaders as figures have no influence. Their leadership promotes weak organizational performance, which turns it into a downturn. This study aims to examine the dimensions of the principal's transformational leadership and its urgency for reform. By employing the literature study method, this study depicted that to run the principal's transformational leadership smoothly; they must apply all dimensions of idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individual consideration. Suppose the principal can apply the 4I dimensions of transformational leadership. In that case, as a leader of educational institutions, the principal succeeds in bringing changes to educational organizations for the better. Kepemimpinan memiliki kedudukan yang menentukan dalam organisasi. Pemimpin yang melaksanakan kepemimpinannya secara efektif dapat menggerakkan orang/personel ke arah tujuan yang dicita-citakan, sebaliknya pemimpin yang keberadaannya hanya sebagai figur, tidak memiliki pengaruh, kepemimpinannya dapat mengakibatkan lemahnya kinerja organisasi, yang pada akhirnya dapat menciptakan keterpurukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah dimensi kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah dan urgensinya terhadap pembaharuan. Dengan metode studi pustaka dapat dipaparkan bahwa agar kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dapat berjalan lancar, kepala sekolah harus mampu menerapkan seluruh dimensi idealiced influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation dan individual consideration. This study used a content analysis approach with data from websites. These documents could be downloaded from websites related to social media. The sample taken was four UIN which have relatively active social media in updating. Data validity was done by validating data internally as well as cross-data. The data analysis used interactive analysis and descriptive statistical analysis. Moreover, the results showed that the use of social media was varied. Facebook and Instagram were for academic activities, including promotion for prospective new students. It dominantly occurs in all research locations and is balanced with the content of national and religious activities. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui trend followers masing-masing media sosial, serta penggunaan media sosial di 4 Perguruan Tinggi Islam Negeri (UIN) di Indonesia yang fokus pada masing-masing pulau satu UIN. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan analisis isi dengan data dari website berupa dokumen yang dapat diunduh dari website yang berhubungan dengan media sosial. Sampel yang diambil adalah 4 UIN yang memiliki media sosial yang relatif aktif melakukan update. Validitas data dilakukan dengan validasi data secara internal maupun data silang. Analisis data menggunakan analisis interaktif dan analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media sosial bervariasi, di Facebook dan Instagram untuk kegiatan akademik termasuk promosi untuk calon mahasiswa baru dominan terjadi di semua lokasi penelitian dan diimbangi dengan konten ucapan kegiatan nasional dan keagamaan. Twenty students from a university in Bengkulu, Indonesia, were purposely engaged as the participants. The data were garnered from interviews, documentation, and focus group discussions. After learning Islamic materials through social media, the findings revealed that Indonesian millennial youth tended to interpret various points regarding jihad and religious tolerance using their cognitive sectorial ego. They consumed raw materials with their inability to comprehend those materials. Consequently, they were easily provoked to blame the diverse emerging perspectives in light of resistance to accept other views excluded from the Islamic teachings they watched in social media. This condition inferred that Indonesian millennials' understanding of jihad and religious tolerance as they learned from social media was considered low. Penelitian kualitatif ini berusaha untuk menyelidiki pemahaman pemuda milenial Indonesia tentang konsep jihad dan toleransi beragama berdasarkan apa yang mereka pelajari dari media sosial. Sebanyak 20 mahasiswa perguruan tinggi dari sebuah universitas di Bengkulu, Indonesia, diikutsertakan sebagai partisipan. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, dokumentasi, dan focus group discussion. Temuan mengungkapkan bahwa setelah mempelajari materi agama Islam melalui media sosial, remaja milenial Indonesia cenderung memaknai berbagai hal terkait jihad dan toleransi beragama dengan menggunakan ego sektoral kognitif individu mereka sendiri. Mereka mengkonsumsi materi secara mentah dengan ketidakmampuan mereka untuk memahami materi tersebut. Akibatnya, mereka mudah terprovokasi untuk menyalahkan beragam perspektif yang muncul karena adanya penolakan untuk menerima pandangan, kecuali sejalan dengan ajaran Islam yang mereka tonton di media sosial. It accommodates the urgency of contemporary needs. It plays a vital role in Islam rahmatan lil ‘alamin. In addition, it describes Islamic educators’ interpretation transformation using a creative, inclusive, relevant multicultural approach in teaching-learning. This research employed qualitative research. The data were collected through some literature, such as books, articles, and publications. The findings found that the teachers should be equipped with some competencies and skills. They include understanding yourself, developing intercultural/competence, becoming empathic, understanding immediacy, adopting an integrated approach to instruction dan using nondiscriminatory assessment strategies. Developing a multicultural strategy is a step ahead to take Islamic educators’ attention. They are also involved in initiating to prevent extremism and strengthen religious moderation. They play an essential role in improving their ability. It applied a qualitative descriptive method. Furthermore, the respondents were 1391 from 37 junior and senior high schools in Indonesia. The data then were analyzed using the Miles Huberman model with data condensation. The results showed that the classification of the ability to read al-Qur'an was divided into six indicators is 1) introducing hijaiyah letters; 2) sifatul huruf; 3) makharijul huruf; 4) tajwid; 5) tartil, and 6) the adab of reading al-Qur'an. The role of institutions in improving the competence of reading al-Qur'an based on existing indicators has different levels. Formal institutions contributed15%, and non-formal institutions 16%. Informal institutions play more roles than other institutions. It was 26%. Thus, the development and strengthening of education based on a particular curriculum for learning the Qur'an is essential to align the standards of students' ability to read al-Qur'an. Hence, each educational institution can strengthen its role in managing the learning of al-Qur'an better. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengklasifikasikan kemampuan membaca al-Qur'an peserta didik melalui peran lembaga pendidikan. Lembaga pendidikan mempunyai peranan penting dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur’an. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Jumlah responden adalah 1.391 dari 37 SMP dan SMA di Indonesia. Data tersebut kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model Miles Huberman dengan kondensasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa klasifikasi kemampuan membaca al-Qur'an terbagi menjadi enam indikator, yaitu 1) mengenalkan hijaiyah huruf; 2) sifatul huruf; 3) makharijul huruf; 4) tajwid; 5) tartil, dan 6) adab membaca al-Qur'an. Sedangkan peran lembaga dalam meningkatkan kompetensi membaca al-Qur'an berdasarkan indikator yang ada memiliki tingkatan yang berbeda-beda. Lembaga formal memiliki peran 15%, lembaga non-formal sebesar 16%, dan lembaga informal memberikan peran lebih dibandingkan lembaga lain yaitu sebesar 26%. A multicultural study is not a new thing, but it has limited implementation. Based on the theory of H.A.R Tilaar about multicultural education, it has inherently existed since this Indonesian nation existed. The state philosophy of the Republic of Indonesia is unity in diversity (Bhinneka Tunggal Ika), cooperation helping each other, and respect one another. It can be seen from the chronological portrait of this nation that there are various foreign tribes and continues to acculturate with the indigenous people. Multicultural education gives hope in dealing with various turmoil which happened recently. This study employed qualitative research. The analysis method and the source were taken from the literature study. Thus, the research sources were taken from literature by using a qualitative approach. Hence, the researcher explored the number of data, both primary and secondary data. They used concrete steps, such as reading and examining the primary data in-depth, such as research results, journals, thesis, or dissertations related to multicultural and Islamic education. Consequently, multicultural education is a necessity in educational institutions. Penelitian ini mengkaji pentingnya pendidikan multikultural yang berbasis pada pedagogik dalam kehidupan sosial khususnya dalam Islam. Kajian multikultural bukan sesuatu yang baru, namun implementasinya dapat dihitung waktunya. Dalam pemikiran H.A.R Tilaar tentang pendidikan multikultural secara inhern sudah ada sejak bangsa Indonesia ini ada. Falsafah bangsa Indonesia adalah bhineka tunggal ika, suka gotong royong, membantu, dan menghargai antar satu dengan yang lainnya. Betapa dapat dilihat dalam potret kronologis bangsa ini yang sarat dengan masuknya berbagai suku bangsa asing dan terus berakulturasi dengan masyarakat pribumi. pendidikan multikultural memberikan secercah harapan dalam mengatasi berbagai gejolak masyarakat yang terjadi akhir-akhir ini. Pendidikan multikultural adalah pendidikan yang senantiasa menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai, keyakinan, heterogenitas, pluralitas dan keragaman, apapun aspeknya dalam masyarakat. This study specifically focuses on the ethnographer’s work model using a phenomenological approach. The data collection techniques used were in-depth interviews, participant observation, literature study, documentation, and active listening. This study indicates that the principle applied by Javanese families is “narima ing pandhum,” which aims to avoid evil thoughts, feelings, and actions. Children’s educational materials include aqidah, worship, and morals. It involves the educational methods for Javanese families in Krajan village with habituation patterns, advice, and sample. This research also finds the fact that Javanese people form their identity from an early age. Through habituation and example, efforts to cultivate a mechanical awareness of mutual assistance, compassion, generosity, empathy, and simplicity are passed down from generation to generation to children. fenomenologis. Materi pendidikan anak diantaranya: Aqidah, Ibadah, dan Akhlak. Metode pendidikan pada keluarga Jawa di Dusun Krajan dengan pola pembiasaan, nasihat, dan contoh keteladanan. Penelitian ini juga mendapati kenyataan bahwa masyarakat Jawa membentuk identitasnya sejak dini. The enactment of prophetic leadership at Tebuireng and Mambaul Ma'arif Islamic boarding schools in Denanyar reflect various understandings and daily activities. It entails a formal situation as seen in educational institutions and non-formal activities as imposed Islamic boarding schools environment. Thus, it instills the values of religious moderation. This research investigates how the behavior of prophetic leadership instills the values of religious moderation in both Islamic boarding schools. The method used in this research was field research with a qualitative approach designed. It was through a multi-site study with interactive analysis. Therefore, the data obtained was comprehensive. This research found that both Islamic boarding schools view that prophetic behavior leadership was based on the values of faith and piety in every activity, and wise in making decisions, oriented to the interests of the community without gaps, courage in change, responsible to the task, put forward morality, diversity of ideas, being humanist, tolerant instead of different religious status and establishing ukhuwah Islamiyah. Those attitudes are always instilled in the students and the Islamic boarding school community. Artikel ini menjelaskankan tentang kepemimpinan profetik dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai moderasi di lembaga pendidikan Islam. Kepemimpinan profetik yang dijalankan baik di Pesantren Tebuireng maupun Mambaul Ma’arif Denanyar, mencerminkan berbagai pemahaman dan kegiatan dalam kesaharian baik melalui kegiatan formal di lembaga pendidikan maupun non formal lingkungan pesantren sehingga dapat menanamkan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama. Adapun rumusan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana perilaku kepemimpinan profetik dalam menanamkan nilai-nilain moderasi beragama pada kedua pondok pesantren. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah field reserch dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang dirancang melalui studi multisitus dengan analisis interaktif sehingga data yang diperoleh sangat luas. This study found that 1) madrasa local wisdom is essentially a manifestation of the Qur'an as a (belief system) and becomes the basis for managing Islamic education; 2) madrasa local wisdom, such as; honesty, discipline, togetherness, commitment, simplicity, independence, sincerity, leadership, hard work, and responsibility, understood as positive energy and internalized in the madrasa environment; 3) habitualization of the value of local wisdom of madrasa, is a social capital which is then transmitted in the management of Islamic education so that it can influence all practical individual social thoughts and actions in the organization. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginterpretasikan dan memaknai nilai kearifan lokal madrasa, habitualisasi nilai tersebut kemudian dijadikan sebagai modal sosial dalam membangun paradigma manajemen pendidikan karakter, hal ini didasarkan atas pelbagai persoalan di bidang pengelolaan pendidikan Islam baik secara fondasional maupun operasional dan belum terselesaikan. Demikian untuk memberikan pemahaman secara holistik dan mendalam, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teori konstruksi sosial Peter L. Berger, melalui hubungan dialektis antara eksternalisasi, objektivasi dan internalisasi. The sample of this research was 348 senior high school students from Salatiga. They were selected randomly. It employed the spiritual intelligence modified by Danah Zohar and Marshall and delinquency instrument modified by Kartono. The data analysis used Winstep version 3.73 for the Rasch model and the IBM Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) 23. The results showed that the logit value that the majority of the students experienced a moderate level of spiritual quotient and juvenile delinquency. The independent sample t-test result revealed that female students had higher spiritual intelligence than male students. In addition, male students had a higher juvenile delinquency tendency than female students. The correlation test result indicated a significant correlation between spiritual quotient and juvenile delinquency (r=-.386, n=348, p.000). She probed spiritual and religious using meta-analytic techniques in adolescents and adults, showing the relationship between spirituality and religiosity in adolescents and adults. The results of this study include; Depression (-11), social relationships (18), individual well-being (14), and risky behavior (-7). 32 It indicates that spirituality and religiosity affect personality development in adolescents and adults. Kermen conducted another study 33 in Turkey with the title “Spiritual Interventions in Juvenile Delinquency.” This study, Kermen reviewed that spiritual and religious intervention on delinquent children negatively correlated (-9). This research was initiated by recognizing the types and causes of delinquency committed by research subjects. From the beginning, it explains that spiritual action can be applied to deal with child delinquency.
