The purpose of this study was to study the effectiveness of the provision of red betel leaf boiled water on reducing blood sugar levels of Diabetes Mellitus patients in the Saling Puskesmas District of Four Lawang in 2018. The design of this study was an experimental Quasy using The One Group Pretest - Postest Design, technique data collection using primary and secondary data. The population of this study were all Diabetes Mellitus patients in the Saling Community Health Center in July-August 2018, amounting to 16 people, sampling was done by accidental sampling. The results of the study, from 16 patients with diabetes mellitus there are 9 people (56.2%) with blood sugar levels less than 200 mg / dl. Wilcoxon Sign Rank test results obtained value Z = -3.517 with p = 0.000 0.05 means significant. So the two variables have different medians, there are differences in the GDS levels of Diabetes Mellitus patients before and after administration of red betel leaf decoction water. Conclusion, Red betel leaf decoction water is significantly effective in reducing blood sugar levels in patients with diabetes mellitus. It is expected that Puskesmas staff can increase public knowledge by counseling about red betel leaves as a Non-Pharmacological drug for patients with Diabetes Mellitus who do not experience complications. This research is a quantitative study using a quasi experimental research design with pre and post test design research designs. The sample in this study amounted to 10 people taken by purposive sampling technique. The analysis used is univariate analysis and bivariate analysis, the statistical test used is the t-dependent test. The results of the study, the average value of rheumatic pain before a massage intervention (massage) in the elderly in the village of Kertapati, Curup Hamlet North Bengkulu is 5.2 and after the intervention is 3.4. T-dependent test results found that there were significant differences in the value of pain before and after massage intervention (massage) with a value of 0,000. In conclusion, there is an effect of massage on the intensity of rheumatic pain in the elderly in the village of Kertapati, Puskesmas, Dusun Curup, North Bengkulu. This study aims to determine the effect of cognitive behavioral therapy on the social interaction ability of social isolation clients in Bengkulu Province. The research method, this research is a quantitative study using a Quasi Experiment research design with a pre test and post test approach design without control group. The sample of this study was 30 people with total sampling techniques. The results of the study of social interaction ability of patients social isolation seen from the variables of cognitive abilities, affective and behavior. The average cognitive ability before giving therapy is 13.79, while after therapy is 19.88. The average affective ability before therapy was 14.58 while after therapy was 17.33. The average behavioral ability before therapy is 9.64 while after therapy is an average of 11.06. Based on the results of the t-dependent test, there were differences in the average score before and after the administration of Cognitive Behavior therapy, with the ρ value of each variable 0,000 (α = 0.05). Conclusion, Cognitive Behavior therapy has a significant effect on the ability of social interactions of social isolation patients in Bengkulu Province. Cognitive behavioral therapy is recommended as nursing therapy in treating social isolation clients with decreased social interaction abilities. One non-pharmacological therapy for hypertension is boarding. Elderly gymnastics is a series of regular and directed and planned tone movements performed individually or groups. The general objective in this study was to study the differences in the effectiveness of elderly gymnastics and healthy heart gymnastics to decrease blood pressure in hypertensive patients at the Nusa Indah Health Center Bengkulu City in 2018. Was the amount of this study using a quasi experimental design of pre and post test. The population in this study were all hypertensive patients in gymnastics members at the Nusa Indah Health Center in Bengkulu City in 2018.Sampling was taken from the entire population. Has research using the Shapiro-Wilk test showed that the value p = 0.247 (a=0.05) meaning that there was no difference in exercise effectiveness. Elderly and healthy cardiac gymnastics against a reduction in systolic blood pressure in patients hypertension at Nusa Indah Health Center Bengkulu City in 2018. The value p = 0.450 (a=0.05) means that there is not difference in the effectiveness of elderly gymnastics and healthy heart gymnastics against a decrease in diastolic blood pressure in hypertensive patients at Nusa Indah Health Center in Bengkulu City in 2018. In bacterial infections such as pneumonia,usually indicates with increasing number of leukocytes (leukocytosis). Some studies, inverse correlation it with an age. Leukocytosis consists of several types, such as eosinophilia. Significant eosinophilia can occur in newborns and it will decrease constantly at old. Other study said that eosinophilia occur due to several conditions,one of them due to infection and response to foreign antigens. This research used descriptive correlational and crosssectional research method. Materials data sources obtained from patients medical records from 2014 to 2016 with bronchopneumonia at Jemur sari Surabaya Islamic Hospital. This study used chi-square analysis with interpretation p-value0,05 with SPSS version 21. The results obtained 11 patients with eosinophilia, 3 of patients (27,3%) aged 0-12 months, and 8 patients (72,7%) aged 13-59 months. Then in 76 patients with noeosinophilia or normal eosinophiliaor 21 patients (27,6%) aged 0-12 months, and 55 patients (72,4%) aged 13-59 months. The result bivariate analysis of correlation age with eosinophil level of bronchopneumonia patient showed no significant relationship (p-value 0.05). The conclusion of this research there was no signigficant relationship between age and eosinophil level in bronchopneumonia patients aged 0-59 months. Therefore, age can not be an indicator to eosinophils levels during inflamation procesess or other needed indicators that support diagnosis. The purpose of this study was to determine the comparison of the effectiveness of touch and talk therapy and therapy storytelling to anxiety of children aged 3-6 years in Edelweis rooms RSUD Dr. M. Yunus Bengkulu.This research is a quantitative study with a quasy experiment design, two groups pretest-posttest design. Sample of 32 respondents was taken by purposive sampling technique which was divided into 2 intervention groups. The results were obtained from 16 respondents before Touch and talk therapy. The average anxiety score was 31.62 and after intervention was 17.31 with a p-value of 0.000, the therapy group storytelling from 16 respondents, the average anxiety score before giving intervention was 31.56 and after intervention was 24.38 with p-value 0,000.The results of the statistical test scores after touch and talk therapy and storytelling therapy obtained p-value 0.001 alpha (0.05). It can be concluded that there are differences in effectiveness between touch and talk therapy and storytelling therapy. Touch and talk therapy is more significant for reducing anxiety in children aged 3-6 years compared to storytelling therapy. Further research is suggested to be able to collaborate between these two therapies with other therapies by considering the factors that influence the administration of therapy. The purpose of this study was to analyze the incidence of infection urinary tract in patients at the urological clinic poly Dr. M Yunus Bengkulu. The research design used qualitative with a descriptive approach. The informant's research method in this study used the \"Purposive Sampling\" technique. The source of information in this study was patients who visited the urology clinic poly Dr. Married M Yunus Bengkulu and data from the medical clinic of the urology clinic Dr. RSUD M Yunus Bengkulu as many as 5 patients. Data collection uses in-depth interview techniques. The results of this study obtained a theme namely, a etiological aspect. In the etiological aspect, it is found the patient have a habit of holding urine and drinking less water, especially at certain times and circumstances. The conclusions were the informants understood a little about urinary infections, all informants had experienced urinary tract infections for the first time, the sexual activities carried out by informants were reasonable or mediocre sexual activity, all informants had the habit of sometimes holding back urination, especially in when certain activities such as long trips and work, and all informants have the habit of drinking water. The incidence, severity lavel of disease associated with asthma has increased. The prevalence in the world is estimated of 10% occured in children. The prevalence in Regional public hospitals of dr. Soekardjo Tasikmalaya is estimated of 5% whereas in Regional Public hospital Ciamis is estimated of 20%. Asthma in children is a problem for patients and families, because it affects the various specific aspects related to the quality of life. This research aims to know the quality of life of children with asthma in Regional Public Hospital of dr. Soekardjo Tasikmalaya and Ciamis. This research is analytic descriptive research. The sample in this research were children aged 7-18 years with asthma who visited the outpatient service with a total of 72 respondents with consecutive sampling techniques. The Generic version of the PedsQl 4.0 Core Scale is used to measure quality of life. Data analysis univariate analysis is used by using a frequency distribution. The results showed that most of respondents have a quality of life that is at risk as much as 59 people (81.9%). Based on the results, it recommended for more information and education by health professional personnel to patients and their families about prevention and management of asthma. The activity in an ICU is always busy and limited time visit, which find the family difficult to communicate with patient,while critically ill patients are usually treated for a long time, this can trigger families to experienced anxiety. The purpose of this research is to determine the relationship between length of stay and the level of anxiety family patients who being treated in dr. Soekardjo Tasikmalaya Hospital. This method of this research is used quantitative correlative with cross sectional approach. The sample of this research is family of patients who were waiting in the ICU room as many as 16 persons by using accidental sampling for two weeks. The data collected by using HARS scale and Chi Square analysis. The research result showed that patients with new length of stay (mean = 3.81) as many as 7 people, families of patients not experiencing anxiety as many as 5 people (71%) and families who experienced anxiety as many as 2 people (29%). While patients with long duration of care (≥ mean = 3.81) as many as 9 people, the patient's family all experienced anxiety (100%). Chi-square test result showed p-value of 0.005 α 0.05.
