It is also important to explore the socio-historical significance of these letters. The letters or maktūbāt of Aḥmad Sirhindī are significant because they are a source of the reformist ideology of Sirhindī, who is rightly acclaimed as mujaddid of the second millennium. It is also important to nuance the significance of his maktūbāt written in the Persian language, being the magnum opus of the reformist ideas of Aḥmad Sirhindī. These maktūbāt comprise almost 526 letters in three volumes written to different disciples and followers of Sheikh and have been extensively studied, discussed, and translated into Arabic, Turkish, and Urdu and partially in English. It has placed strong stress on the rights of women ranging from their right to education to their right to inheritance. However, these rights are violated across the globe and Pakistan is no exception. Several cases of women’s rights violation have been discussed and one of the most commonly violated rights is their right to inheritance. Women are not given their fair share in inheritance although they are entitled to inherit according to the sharī‘ah and Pakistani law. This violation has also been observed in the province of Sindh which consists of 94 tehsils of 23 districts, and 18 towns. This paper discusses women’s inheritance issues in urban and rural areas of Sindh. There are some local customs which lead to the deprivation of women from inheritance like “wanī, kārōkārī, wattah sattah, marriage with the Qur’ān, court marriage, dowry, etc. A survey questionnaire was administered in all the districts of rural and urban areas of Sindh which yielded significant results. According to the findings, only 35% of women inherit their share whereas 30% of women relinquish their share willingly and 10% of women are unaware of their rights. The rest of the 25% of women are forced to give up their inheritance. The proceedings of the case, Khajah Hidayut Ollah v. Rai Jan Khanam, at different levels reflect the glimpses of the dominance of the concepts and philosophies the English judges had in their minds; along with the power of authority backed by colonial increasing military power in the Indian subcontinent. This article has three major parts. The first part provides the relevant rulings of Ḥanafī law about establishing the legitimacy of a child, owing to the case under discussion was about the proofs of establishing the legitimacy of one of the deceased’s alleged heirs as a son. The next part describes the events of the cases where the rulings of Islamic law were explored, interpreted, and applied. Individual differences mean to have individual human nature which differs from other people as a natural endowment. Therefore, individual differences affect the teaching methods. A teacher plays a pivotal role in the development of a nation or a country. It is of utmost importance to awaken his/her (teacher’s) awareness about individual differences as well as different teaching strategies inside the classroom for effective learning of the children. The teacher is also responsible for the blooming of moral, spiritual, and social behaviour of the future builders of the nation. He/she should be aware of the individual differences/problems of the students. He/she ought to identify and analyse these problems. The most important element is to enable him/her to solve them in the light of the teachings of Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ). This research explores individual differences and different situations in classrooms and their effects on the learning of the students. This rule arises when the Prophet (peace be on him) forsakes the demand for details on an event or a question which is likely to be an event or a question in many cases instead of confining it to a particular situation. An unrestricted order is imposed and this order is common to all cases of this condition. This rule was first deduced by Imām al-Shāfi‘ī, and then it was adopted in many cases but not all of those cases are entirely out of the question: tark al-istifṣāl ka ‘umūm al-maqāl (abandoning the demand for details like a normal conversation). Most of the jurists have unrestrictedly followed this rule, some have restricted it to certain conditions and some have rejected it. This rule apparently contradicts another rule that is also attributed to Imām al-Shafi‘ī, which is: Qaḍāya al-aḥwāl idhā taṭarraqa ilayhā ’l-iḥtimāl kasāḥā thawb al-ijmāl wa saqaṭ bihā ’l-istidlāl (when a case is probable, this probability creates brevity and the argument based on it turns void).
