The model must be able to understand an image and then apply language generation techniques to describe an image in a natural language such as English. In this paper, we have presented an image captioning model which uses VGG16 for visual feature extraction and LSTM model to generate sentences corresponding to extracted visual features. We have performed experiments on Flickr8k and Flickr30k datasets. Bilingual Evaluation Understudy (BLEU) metric is used to measure the accuracy of the proposed model. At zero crossing, the devices are switched on and switched off in each half cycle at the desired moment. Unlike traditional phase angle control (PAC) systems, the drive can work in the whole controllable range of speed and torque in this scheme. The phase angle control approach is switched naturally where force is commutated as EAC. In this strategy, the additional benefit is that the supply current from the AC source is leading. The power electronic system triggering technique is opposite to that of the regulation of the firing angle. In the whole range from zero to maximum voltage, the motor voltage is controllable.","PeriodicalId":158896,"journal":{"name":"2022 2nd International Conference on Power Electronics & IoT Applications in Renewable Energy and its Control (PARC)","volume":"73 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127275602","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

An optimum design has to be chosen to develop a power electronic converter with increased efficiency. Thereby, reducing the size of the passive components as well as low switching losses may lead the converter to energy efficient. This proposed work investigates a Series Load Resonant (SLR) converter containing a tank circuit with soft switching topology that is used for DC-DC conversion. The sinusoidal current wave shape through inductor and voltage wave shape across capacitor for the possible continuous/discontinuous modes of operation will be explored based on the ratio between switching frequency and resonating frequency.","PeriodicalId":158896,"journal":{"name":"2022 2nd International Conference on Power Electronics & IoT Applications in Renewable Energy and its Control (PARC)","volume":"87 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122086124","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Forecasting of the load and the price of electricity can be achieved vibrantly apace with the help of LMP. Load and price forecasting of the system is much indispensable to have a smooth running of the system operation in the aspect of utility and consumer. Price forecast may result in significantly different economic impacts on the utility. The inaccuracy in the forecast can be quantified by implementing the penalizing concept for the error raised in the forecasting of the load. By means of indulging the approach of penalizing the usage of load beyond the forecast, the revenue of the utility can be increased alongside boosting the customer to stick with the concept to conserve and manage the consumption of energy utilized.","PeriodicalId":158896,"journal":{"name":"2022 2nd International Conference on Power Electronics & IoT Applications in Renewable Energy and its Control (PARC)","volume":"75 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115950269","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The IFOC scheme is comprised of an outer speed control loop and an inner current loop. The proposed scheme employs a PI controller as the speed controller. To tune these controllers, the population-based modified Particle Swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm is used, to minimize the objective function, the Mean Squared Error (MSE) of speed tracking. Extensive simulations are carried out with both the schemes and the motor performance is evaluated with each controller for various load torque and speed conditions. The obtained findings reveal that, even though rise time with tuned HCC scheme is 23.8% longer than that with tuned PI controller scheme, steady-state error is reduced by 66% in HCC than PI CC. Tuning by optimization algorithm has greatly improved the peak time, steady-state error, THD and MSE in both controller schemes.","PeriodicalId":158896,"journal":{"name":"2022 2nd International Conference on Power Electronics & IoT Applications in Renewable Energy and its Control (PARC)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121324826","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To make an economic, controlled and efficient exchange of power HVDC uses current source converter (CSC) and voltage source converter (VSC) technologies. The 6-pulse LCC is the basic building block of CSC. The realization of flexible power flow control, asynchronous interconnection, and higher line loading is possible only because of HVDC transmission using LCC or VSC. However, the use of LCC or VSC causes the injection of harmonics in both the AC and DC sides of the system. This may further lead to higher losses and complexity in operation. Therefore, it is important to analyze and eliminate the dominant frequency components generated. This work performs the spectral analysis of line parameters on both AC and DC sides of each rectifier station to detect the dominant harmonic component present using FFT. The test system was developed using 6-pulse LCC-HVDC at sending station and constant load inversion mode at receiving station. The length of the HVDC transmission line is 300 km having distributed parameters supplying power to the constant load at receiving end. The MATLAB/ Simulink environment is used to develop the test system and digitalized at the sampling interval of 43$mu$s.","PeriodicalId":158896,"journal":{"name":"2022 2nd International Conference on Power Electronics & IoT Applications in Renewable Energy and its Control (PARC)","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127383391","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Medically, heart disease is known for being difficult to forecast, detect, and diagnose. To treat heart diseases, hospitals and other clinics are giving costly therapies and treatments. According to a recent WHO research, heart disease is on the rise. In 2019, 17.9 million people die as a result of this. It becomes more difficult to diagnose as the population grows. As a result, detecting cardiac disease early on will benefit people all across the world, allowing them to receive necessary therapy before it becomes critical. Thanks to recent technical breakthroughs, machine learning has shown to be effective in making decisions and predictions from a big set of data provided by the healthcare sector. In this paper, some of the supervised machine learning techniques used in this prediction of heart disease which are Support Vector Machines (SVMs), Gradient Boosting Classifier (GB), Decision tree (DT), Random forest (RF), Logistic Regression (LR) on the “UCI Machine learning repository for Statlog (Heart) Data Set” Furthermore, the findings of these algorithms are reported, and a proposal is made to employ the algorithm with the highest accuracy for predicting Heart Disease on a web application. This application will be used as a decision support system by medical practitioners in their clinics as well as people at home.","PeriodicalId":158896,"journal":{"name":"2022 2nd International Conference on Power Electronics & IoT Applications in Renewable Energy and its Control (PARC)","volume":"85 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-01-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122327009","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Earlier in the age-old method, ballot papers are used for voting where there is a lot of scope for hindrance of the voting process. In this paper, we have considered a digital electronic voting system which is designed using VHDL coding in Xilinx tool. Venable switch is provided to start the voting process. 3 contestants are considered in the election process namely party0, party1 and party2. Vswitch is a 2-bit signal used to choose the contestant by the voter to vote for him/her. If venable is not activated and voter tries to vote, the invalid signal is given which indicates vote is not taken unless venable is activated.
