Abstract

Wide spread deployment of safe, reliable and cost-effective charging infrastructure is necessary for the faster penetration of EVs. Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) shall be designed to meet the standards to ensure interoperability, safe & reliable operation and functional requirements. The paper gives an overview of the various international standards governing EV charging.
