Based on the through-silicon via (TSV) technology, the short connections of the 3-D integrated circuit (IC) can improve the performance and density. Hence, the 3-D imager is the best solution for high throughput image capture or video recorder applications. The proposed ISP array is based on high resolution CMOS image sensor (CIS) and analog-to-digital converter (ADC) array to achieve three mega pixels (2048×1536) at 100 frames per second in 3-D imager. Basically, in the MB-frame coding approach, we adopt the mutual forward and backward video sequence frames to process within reference frames in each individual Group of Pictures (GOP) until no skip blocks could be padded at decoder. It is worth to noting that with this approach the computation complexity does not increase at encoder side, which is consistent with the basic concept to meet the low complexity DVC requirement. Indeed, it achieves the overall system performance improvement with the cost of increasing for average 30 % of computation complexity at decoder side. We have investigated the noise reconstruction system (NRS) based on linear prediction and system identification. First, a liner prediction error filter (LPEF) estimates the white noise which is a noise source. Next, a noise reconstruction filter (NRF) estimates the background noise from the estimated white noise. However, the conventional system uses finite impulse response (FIR) filters. The estimated white noise therefore contains the residual speech. As a result, the estimation accuracy of background noise is degraded at the NRF. In order to solve the problems, we introduce a lattice filter and an equation error adaptive digital filter (ADF) as the LPEF and the NRF respectively. Since a lattice filter approximates a vocal-tract filter for the speech production process, the residual speech is reduced. An equation error ADF with bias free is used for improving the quality of enhanced speech. Computer can enrich our live to make our thinking more colorful, but it is limited to the indoor environment because computer is not easy to carry anywhere, even for the notebook. For this reason, more kinds of 3C products with a small size have gradually increased then become the primary choice for playing around. However, the 3C products are not convenient to show the content of image or video clearly. Therefore, lots of techniques which related to image/video retargeting have been proposed to solve the problem in recent years. Nevertheless, these related techniques can retarget the image/video for the most of mediums, but for some certainly pictures or videos, which contain lots of straight lines. It will cause bad result because the line structure had been destroyed. By comparing the paper, the proposed method could perform well especially in some certainly image or video which contains lost of straight lines. We also compared our further improvement with some previous methods to verify the better result we proposed. The first section introduces some of proposed researches which related to image/video retargeting. The related method and the proposed method are shown in Section 2 and Section 3, respectively. This paper presents a novel image-based object orientation estimation algorithm that efficiently and accurately estimates the orientation of a geometric object from vision information only. First, a boundary-point set is defined from the boundary of a geometric object in a segmented binary image. Next, a new objective function is proposed to evaluate the maximum projection length of the boundary-point set onto a closed set with respect to an orientation angle. Finally, the orientation information of the geometric object is estimated via a one-dimensional minimization process. This paper develops a novel color-based tracking algorithm for non-rigid 3-D objects with multiple colors. Especially, the proposed particle filter method can track the targets even if the appearance /disappearance of color regions were occurred by self-occlusion and pose variation like self-rotation. The basic idea is closely related to the rules of proximity and common fate in grouping mechanism in human psychology, and a new model updating scheme is introduced. In this paper, we implement a distributed file system based on Apache Hadoop, and the original Hadoop distributed file system is replaced with the Tahoe least-authority file system. Furthermore, we investigate the total transmission rate and download time with two different file size. This analog front end contains an instrumentation amplifier (IA), off-chip passive filters, and a successive approximation register analog-to-digital converter (SAR-ADC). During the measurement, ECG signals are enhanced by the IA, and then quantized by SAR-ADC. A PC client collects the digital data and turns it into waveform shown on the monitor. Both the IA and SAR-ADC were fabricated in TSMC 0.18 μm 1P6M CMOS process. This system is dissipating 1.32 mW from 1.2 V supply. The IA delivers a gain of 40 dB with a bandwidth of 69 kHz.
