Breast cancer can take many different forms, depending on which breast cells become malignant. It is believed to be the leading cause of cancer-related mortality for women in Iraq, regardless of their age or ethnicity. Objective: to determine how well-informed female university students are about the signs, causes, and screening methods of breast cancer in relation to their sociodemographic characteristics and attitude toward the disease. Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was carried out on female students attending various universities in Iraq between December 2, 2021, and February 17, 2022. It was accomplished by distributing a validated pretested Arabic questionnaire. For the sake of secrecy and to encourage their candid responses, participants were asked to respond to 11 questions about their understanding of breast cancer and their opinions of its management and treatment results. No other personal information was asked. Results: female students 684 from a range of age groups (18–40) from various universities in Iraq responded to the questionnaire; nonetheless, the mean age of the respondents was 21 (about 22.6%). A 68.7% of participants understood lump or thickness in the breast may be a sign of breast cancer, according to 60.2% of respondents, though that breast bleeding or discharge may be breast cancer sign. Most of the participants are well-informed on the risk factors associated with breast cancer. 74.9% of respondents said they understood the basics of breast cancer screening procedures, Incorporating the clinical breast examination (CBE) and breast self-examination (BSE) as early detection techniques. The effectiveness of breast cancer treatments was likewise viewed favorably by the students. Conclusion: Each participant showed a sufficient level of understanding on the symptoms, risk factors and techniques for breast cancer screening. Nevertheless, it is critical to encourage self-screening public education and advise health authorities on how to set up efficient breast healthcare programs that cater to Iraq's whole female population.","PeriodicalId":156613,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Prevention, Diagnosis and Management of Human Diseases","volume":"19 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139186644","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In countries where diagnostic tools are not easily accessible, knowledge of the disease's impact on the lungs is of utmost importance. The goal of this research was to demonstrate that high-resolution chest X-ray images could be used in conjunction with extensive training data to reliably differentiate COVID-19. The evaluation included the training of deep learning and AI classifiers using publicly available X-beam images (1092 sound, 1345 pneumonia, and 3616 affirmed Covid). There were 38 tests driven using Convolutional Brain Organizations, 10 examinations utilizing 5 simulated intelligence models, and 14 tests utilizing top tier pre-arranged models for move learning. In the first stages, the presentation of the models was surveyed using an eightfold cross-approval system that disentangled visuals and data analysis. Area under the curve for collector performance is a typical 96.51%, with 93.84% responsiveness, 98.18% particularity, 98.50% accuracy, and 93.84% responsiveness. COVID-19 may be detected in a small number of skewed chest X-beam pictures using a convolutional frontal cortex network with not many layers and no pre -taking care of.","PeriodicalId":156613,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Prevention, Diagnosis and Management of Human Diseases","volume":"356 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139243448","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper aimed to analyze and assess the clinical outcomes of patients with disordered blood pressure and allergic rhinitis. Patients and methods: Data was collected from different hospitals in Iraq to cover the diagnosis and evaluation of the health status of patients from 6th August 2022 to 15th April 2023 for patients between the ages of 30 and 60 years. A total of 100 patients were recruited, including 50 patients with hypertension and allergic rhinitis and a control group of 50 patients. The research data showed basic demographic results in terms of age, gender, symptoms, comorbidities, smoking factor, and obesity factor. This study evaluated the outcomes related to the quality of life of patients with blood pressure disorders based on the SF-36 health status questionnaire. Results: The study discovered a notable rise in the prevalence of asthma patients, with rates reaching 48% for the patient group and 28% for the control group. Specifically, the systolic blood pressure rate in the control group stood at (110.47 ± 3.78), whereas the patient group witnessed a substantial increase, peaking at (123.68 ± 5.48). There was also a fluctuation in diastolic blood pressure among both genders, with an average diastolic blood pressure of (77.41 ± 10.23) for males and (78.10 ± 9.91) for females. Conclusion: The study demonstrated that the co-occurrence of allergic rhinitis and asthma leads to a noticeable and significant deterioration in the quality of life for individuals with irregular blood pressure due to the exacerbation of symptoms. Furthermore, our findings indicate that male patients with hypertension are more notably affected by allergic rhinitis than their female counterparts.","PeriodicalId":156613,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Prevention, Diagnosis and Management of Human Diseases","volume":"43 12","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139253521","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

No less important is the issue of treatment tactics in patients and in accordance with current recommendations, the appointment of thyroid hormone preparations is indicated for patients with an increase in the level of tsh more than 10 μm / l. The assignment of thyroxine to the boundary level of tsh is still a matter of debate. Most authors consider surgical myocardial revascularization, continuous statin therapy, and correction of subclinical hypothyroidism with small doses of thyroxine to normal tsh values as ideal. The most appropriate is the early detection of subclinical hypothyroidism in patients and correction of disorders identified with thyroid hormone preparations. The study showed that subclinical hypothyroidism is an additional independent risk factor.","PeriodicalId":156613,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Prevention, Diagnosis and Management of Human Diseases","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-08-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127452875","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
