This approach not only saves resources for the pharmaceutical sector and healthcare systems but also accelerates the discovery of new drugs. Overcoming challenges like data integration and patient classification is crucial in drug repositioning, where methodological advancements utilizing randomized control trials (RCTs) become essential. RCTs provide a systematic way to assess medication efficacy in diverse cancer subpopulations, enhancing the credibility of drug repositioning outcomes. The current study integrates RCTs with advanced data analytics and machine learning to establish a Bayesian Network response detection based on randomized control (BNRD-RC). This approach allows researchers to identify promising drug candidates, predict patient responses, and optimize treatment plans by analyzing diverse datasets, including genomes, proteomics, and clinical records. Beyond personalized treatment, drug repositioning explores medication synergy and combination therapy for rare cancer types. Simulation analysis significantly aids in validating the efficacy and safety of repositioned drugs. Through simulations of clinical scenarios and treatment outcomes, researchers can assess the impact of drug repositioning on patient survival, quality of life, and healthcare costs.","PeriodicalId":154960,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Angiotherapy","volume":"11 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139161988","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We have conducted a detailed review on new biomarkers to enhance BC screening and enable early diagnosis, particularly in younger women. Early detection and monitoring drug responses are crucial for optimal BC therapy, prompting the need for new biomarkers in diagnosis and prognosis. This review discusses recent findings on microRNAs in detecting, analyzing, and treating breast cancer (miRNA-BC). Although breast cancer patients often start treatment with radiotherapy, its effectiveness may decline with radiation resistance. This review study compares docetaxel-resistant breast cancer (DRBC) and docetaxel-sensitive cell lines, exploring the role of non-coding RNAs, especially circular RNAs (circRNAs), in DRBC development and identifying predictive biomarkers for taxane-containing therapies. MicroRNA sequencing and bioinformatics predict differences in microRNA expression, genes, and pathways between breast cancer cell types. Current evidence suggests that miR-202 dysregulation is linked to signaling pathways, influencing its anti- or pro-tumorigenic effects, showcasing its potential as a diagnostic biomarker.","PeriodicalId":154960,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Angiotherapy","volume":"137 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139163187","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Chronic exposure to mycotoxins is linked to cancer development and immune deficiencies. DNA methylation plays a role in diseases like cancer, influencing the expression of genes that regulate tumor growth. Mycotoxins can lead to crop loss, chemical production, and uncontrolled fungi growth. Aflatoxins, a type of mycotoxin, increase cancer risk and cause severe illnesses. Artificial Light At Night (ALAN) affects melatonin secretion, influencing global DNA methylation in cancer cells. FBM-ALAN shows promise against cancers by restoring normal expression of critical tumor suppressor genes and correcting abnormal DNA methylation. Abnormal DNA methylation can lead to diseases like cancer by silencing tumor suppressors and overexpressing oncogenes. Understanding DNA methylation is crucial for regulating gene expression and preventing illness in eukaryotic cells.","PeriodicalId":154960,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Angiotherapy","volume":"74 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139161258","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Hydrophobin-coated niosomes, a type of carrier system, show lower cytotoxicity in vitro compared to existing anti-cancer drugs. The hydrophobin-coated formulation demonstrates higher cytotoxicity against cancer cells than control cells. Lung cancer can spread to distant organs, posing challenges such as multidrug resistance and recurrence. Traditional chemotherapies may face resistance due to genetic mutations. Convolutional Neural Network (CNN)-based automatic organ segmentation has been validated for radiation treatment planning in lung cancer patients. LCCs-CNN niosomes, similar to liposomes, offer enhanced cellular membrane permeability and high biocompatibility. This carrier system shields the drug molecule from breakdown and deactivation. Hydrophobin-coated niosomes outperform polyethylene glycol-coated ones in various aspects, including size distribution, entrapment efficiency, release profile, biocompatibility, and cancer prevention success.","PeriodicalId":154960,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Angiotherapy","volume":"56 9","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139162218","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research focuses on understanding the prevalence of hypertension in both semi-rural and urban areas, using World Health Organization metrics for a comprehensive evaluation. Despite extensive prior research on hypertension, the distinct frequency gap between semi-rural and urban settings poses a notable challenge. This study addressed issues in data collection, sampling biases, and temporal fluctuations by introducing a novel approach called Hypertension Prevalence Analysis using WHO Measures (HPA-WHOM), which outperforms existing methods. In semi-rural settings, HPA-WHOM estimates a hypertension prevalence of 53.76%, revealing average blood pressure levels, salt intake, physical activity, smoking habits, and alcohol use. These findings underscore HPA-WHOM's effectiveness in understanding hypertension prevalence and associated factors, contributing valuable insights for tailored interventions and global initiatives to combat the worldwide impact of hypertension on public health.","PeriodicalId":154960,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Angiotherapy","volume":"53 5","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139162288","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This innovative technique is significant for painless and sensitive early identification of cancerous cells. However, challenges, such as precise characterization and functionalization of polydopamine nanoparticles, may impact the sensor's sensitivity. This review paper suggests Real-Time Enhanced Surface Functionalization (R-TESF), utilizing polydopamine nanoparticles to enhance the sensor's specificity. Impedance data is processed with machine learning and analytical models to accurately distinguish cancer cell signatures from background noise. The method leverages polydopamine's specificity to proteins associated with breast cancer, making it a powerful tool for early detection. Simulation analysis validates and refines the proposed method, providing insights into its performance across various variables and scenarios. Beyond breast cancer diagnostics, the integration of experimental and computational methods showcased in this study has the potential to transform cancer research.","PeriodicalId":154960,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Angiotherapy","volume":"22 4","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139162731","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

While there are more residential treatment facilities for ED, little is known about what happens after patients leave. This review explores the success rates of residential therapy for all ages, genders, and types of eating disorders, aiming to identify links between specific interpersonal dimensions and the onset and maintenance of ED symptoms. Understanding how symptoms and dangers unfold across eating disorders is limited. Using structural equation modeling (SEM-ED), the research investigates teenage symptom trajectories, temporal precedence, risk variables, and population-attributable fractions in a community. This review study explores evidence for the interpersonal model of various ED diagnoses, revealing a unique interpersonal profile for individuals with eating disorders and highlighting specific interpersonal difficulties linked to worse treatment outcomes. The findings suggest a cyclical association between ED psychopathology and relationship issues through negative affect. Structural equation modeling-based result forecasting models prove highly reliable for ED expectations, which are split between those related to eating disorders and those associated with non-food-related psychological disorders.","PeriodicalId":154960,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Angiotherapy","volume":"69 7","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139162200","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

{"title":"Physical Activity Correlates With The Aging Process in Seniors Broadly - A Review","authors":"","doi":"10.25163/angiotherapy.729413","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.25163/angiotherapy.729413","url":null,"abstract":"Lack of physical activity among seniors (65 and older) leads to premature aging, illness, and weakness. Engaging in Physical Activity (PA) and maintaining life satisfaction are identified as crucial factors for active aging, positively impacting mental and physical well-being. Life Satisfaction (LS), inversely related to health and longevity in seniors, is a key measure. Assessing the current state of LS in the elderly population and identifying contributing variables are essential for understanding good aging. To combat the pervasive fear of aging, wearable accelerometers evaluate PA, with the Internet of Things (IoT) based Physical Activities (IoT-PA) model showing promise in assessing LS due to age-related energy differences. This review paper discusses the benefits and challenges of virtual assistants in reducing sedentary lifestyles among seniors and presents technical findings from the suggested system. Encouraging regular physical exercise in the senior age group poses challenges for local governments, especially in low-income communities where engagement in physical activity remains low.","PeriodicalId":154960,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Angiotherapy","volume":"6 6","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139163099","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
