In addition to the design of fractional controller, a comparison between integer controller employing the most used method the biggest log modulus (BLT) and the internal model control (IMC) with the fractional method. The purpose of this comparison is to improve the quality control and show the superiority and the increase of flexibility by the additional fractional parameter of the fractional control. An analyzed study between performance indices of the three methods as the overshoot, settling time, integral absolute error (IAE) and rise time is exhibited. First, Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional with simple and double-integral terms is constructed considering both upper and lower bounds of network delay. Then, less conservative Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMIs) stability conditions are established using null terms to introduce free weighting matrices based on the Leibniz-Newton formula. Furthermore, Finsler's lemma is used for the relaxation of the obtained LMI's stability conditions using slack decision variables. It is also used to decouple Lyapunov-Krasovskii matrices from the system ones. The application of the proposed approach for different NCSs gives higher upper delay bounds compared with other methods.","PeriodicalId":153848,"journal":{"name":"Algerian Journal of Signals and Systems","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128351746","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is not possible to eliminate all hazards, so the goal is to eliminate and/or control high and critical potential hazards and reduce the rest of the hazards to the lowest reasonable risk level in order to protect workers and equipment against damage and to ensure the proper functioning of the production chain. The objective is to study and test the performance of Two communication techniques used in wide area monitoring system, a single input single output (SISO) system and a multiple input multiple output system (MIMO) in terms ofBit Error Rate(BER) with varying the signal to noise Ratio(SNR).In addition, we study the Wide Area Monitoring system based on LoRa communication. The IEEE 14-bus power system with Phasor Measurement Units(PMUs) placed at selected buses is considered. The simulation results demonstrate that the MIMO system outperform the SISO system in terms of Bit Error Rate. Furthermore, the value of the reporting rate has been varied for both systems in MATLAB to see the effect on the data correctness and the results show that the Bit Error Rate value decreases with the increase of reporting rate.Finally, we dealt with a modified LoRa MATLAB code emulator to investigate the data error and delay. The results show that LoRa Technology has better performance in terms of delay and error.","PeriodicalId":153848,"journal":{"name":"Algerian Journal of Signals and Systems","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130684814","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
