The purpose of this comparison is to improve the quality control and show the superiority and the increase of flexibility by the additional fractional parameter of the fractional control. An analyzed study between performance indices of the three methods as the overshoot, settling time, integral absolute error (IAE) and rise time is exhibited. Abstract

In this work a fractional order filter proportional integer (FOF-PI) controller is proposed for the control of multivariable system which is a distillation column model.
