It is also the next big thing to influence complete electronic industries and human life. Many researches focus on smart home applications to develop varied home sensor network and topology. In the heterogeneous communication environment, power supply of home sensor network is the basic condition to maintain system operation. How to enlarge required power of sensor network as long as possible is the critical point to decide network life. There are more and more renewable energy deployed in home energy management system (HEMS) at modern residence. We develop an adaptive classification scheme (ACS) to classify power source type of home automation sensors in smart home, and further propose dynamic distributed energy management algorithm (DDEM) to adjust energy distribution for establishing intelligent home automation management system. Finally, the proposed scheme can effectively prolong operation life of home sensor network.","PeriodicalId":153377,"journal":{"name":"2016 Third International Conference on Computing Measurement Control and Sensor Network (CMCSN)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130842273","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

But metaheuristic algorithms seem very efficient to approach in these problems and became very popular such as Genetic Algorithm (GA), Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO). Recently, many new metaheuristic algorithms were proposed, but the performance of these algorithms in solving noisy non-linear optimization problems when compared with popular methods still need more of verifications. In this context, two popular algorithms called GA and PSO will be compared with some recent metaheuristic algorithms such as Grey Wolf Optimizer, Firefly Algorithm, and Brain Storm Optimization algorithm in finding optimal solutions of noisy non-linear optimization problems. The results will be compared in terms of accuracy of the best solutions found and the execution time.","PeriodicalId":153377,"journal":{"name":"2016 Third International Conference on Computing Measurement Control and Sensor Network (CMCSN)","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115044597","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The individual price of stocks including stocks in the field of industrial, medical, financial, overall, etc. Is subject to many different aspects. The relationship between aspects, the international economy, and the stock price is complex and is not easy to be categorized. Moreover, the trend of the world increases the cooperation and links between countries and different nations. Many agreements in tourism, trade, etc. Are signed between countries. In this paper, we focus on the effect on the stock prices caused by the agreements signed between Taiwan and other countries. The time series method is utilized to analyze the effect on the stock price forecasting caused by 5 of the incidents including WTO, Taiwan-Nicaragua FTA, Taiwan-Honduras FTA, and Taiwan-Japan BIA. Both the pre-event and the post-event periods are included for observing the fluctuation behavior of the stock market price. The MAPE value is used as the criterion to verify the correctness of the forecasting result. The MAPE values obtained in all experiments are all less than 10%. It implies that the time series method presents good forecasting ability in the analyzed cases.","PeriodicalId":153377,"journal":{"name":"2016 Third International Conference on Computing Measurement Control and Sensor Network (CMCSN)","volume":"90 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116964844","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We have developed the multi-fingered robot hand with the multi-axis force/torque sensors. For stable transportation, the robot hand must pick up an object without dropping it and places it without damaging it. This paper deals with a pick-up motion based on vision and tactile information by the eveloped robot hand. Here, the robot hand learns a posture for picking an object up by using tactile values and the visual image in advance, then determines the number of fingers in pick-up motion by the visual image. The effectiveness of the proposed grasp selection is verified through some experiments with the universal robot hand.","PeriodicalId":153377,"journal":{"name":"2016 Third International Conference on Computing Measurement Control and Sensor Network (CMCSN)","volume":"304 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115864699","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

On the transmitter side, data bits are sliced into spectral chips, coded into M-sequence codes, and conducted with different units of time-delay. The composite signature keyword is structured from two or more M-sequence codes. Two relatively prime-length M-sequence codes are taken to compose composite M-signature codes and time channels coding to achieve network confidentiality systems. Besides, the double scrambling scheme over time/wavelength representatives doubles the defense to prevent eavesdropping. The proposed scheme has a number of attractive features such as asynchronous network coordination, reduced transceiver encoder/decoders, and enhanced system confidentiality.","PeriodicalId":153377,"journal":{"name":"2016 Third International Conference on Computing Measurement Control and Sensor Network (CMCSN)","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123625649","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Through an analysis of the trade-off between efficiency versus fairness, decision makers would make their own choices for sharing the limited bandwidth. Taking the blocking probability into account, two management schemes are introduced to allocate bandwidth under the limited budget control. In the numerical experiments, we conduct a sensitivity analysis for different traffic classes through varying the limited budget. The contributions of this paper are the performance evaluation and sensitivity analysis of relationship between model parameters and performance measures of interest.","PeriodicalId":153377,"journal":{"name":"2016 Third International Conference on Computing Measurement Control and Sensor Network (CMCSN)","volume":"341 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122836372","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Constellation extension scheme (CES) is an effective method to reduce the PAPR. CES generates candidate sequences by extend the constellation points and chooses one of candidate sequence with minimum PAPR as the transmitted sequence. Using Asterisk 16QAM modulation has better performance compared with Square 16QAM modulation for wireless communication channel. Therefore, this paper proposes an Asterisk 16QAM CES to improve the PAPR performance of single carrier frequency division access (SCFDMA) systems. The proposed method adopts the random selection of extend constellation points to reduce computational complexity of CES method. From the simulation results, the proposed method can effectively reduce the PAPR and has lower computational complexity character.","PeriodicalId":153377,"journal":{"name":"2016 Third International Conference on Computing Measurement Control and Sensor Network (CMCSN)","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125469152","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper proposes a novel compact flower pollination algorithm for addressing the class of optimization problems in the restricted hardware condition. In this proposed method, the actual population of tentative solutions is not stored, but a novel probabilistic representation on the population is employed based on the single competition. In the simulation, several problems of numerical optimizations in the benchmark are used to evaluate the accuracy, the computational time and the saving memory of the proposed method. The results compared with the original algorithm and the other algorithms in the literature show that the new proposed method provides the effective way of using a limited memory.","PeriodicalId":153377,"journal":{"name":"2016 Third International Conference on Computing Measurement Control and Sensor Network (CMCSN)","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116822298","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
