Materials and methods: In the period from 2017 to 2019, we examined 4908 specimens of Dermacentor marginatus (616 pools) 4208 specimens of Dermacentor reticulatus (566 pools) and 43 specimens of Dermacentor niveus (18 pools) were examined for infection with the Q fever patogen. To assess the dependence of the detection of Coxiella burnetii in ticks depending on the physiological age, we examined 3048 specimens D. reticulatus (381 pools) and 2319 specimens D. marginatus (366 pools). The study of ixodid ticks for the presence of Coxiella burnetii DNA of the causative agent of Q fever was carried out by the molecular genetic method, namely the polymerase chain reaction (PCR), in accordance with the regulatory guidelines. Results and discussion: The results of the research showed that the infection of ixodid ticks with Coxiella in the Central Ciscaucasian natural populations on D. reticulatus and D. marginatus fluctuates over the years and does not exceed one percent. When considering the dependence of the detection of Coxiella burnetii in ticks on their physiological age, statistically significant results were obtained only for D. reticulatus. There is a significant correlation between the more frequent detection of infected ticks of physiological age II compared with ticks of physiological age III and IV. For D. marginatus ticks, there was no statistically significant relationship between the detection of Q fever pathogen and physiological age. Therefore, the search for alternative direct methods of their verification is an important area of laboratory diagnostics. Proteomic research methods are one of the most modern areas of laboratory practice. Updating the database of reference protein profiles of parasitic pathogens is one of the main priorities of mass spectrometry. To convert digital data of protein extract spectra, the R-MALDIquant software package for dirofilaria differentiation (Dirofilaria immitis, Dirofilaria repens) was used. For the study, two D. repens females were taken, removed from the subcutaneous fat of two patients (one from each patient), two D. immitis females obtained from the heart after autopsy of two fallen dogs. In the study, only the head ends were taken (where the stichocytes are concentrated), without reproductive organs (where the main excretory-secretory antigens of the parasite are located). The profiles of the mass spectra of the homogenate proteins were obtained using the standard Sepsityper Kit 50 and the “Formic Acid Extraction” for Microflex LT MALDI–TOF MS (Bruker Daltonics) with flexControl software (Bruker Daltonics). Visualization was performed using Flexanalysis 3.3 software (Bruker Daltonics). Preliminary processing of mass spectra was carried out using the R software environment in the MALDIquant package. The coincidence rate in the dendrogram sections for D. immitis individuals was 96-99 %, and for D. repens – 73-100 %, which is probably due to phenotypic differences in helminths isolated from different patients. The results obtained by us of processing two types of dirofilaria using the R-MALDIquant software environment are the first step in creating a library of reference protein profiles of nematodes of the genus Dirofilaria. Studies were carried out on imago fleas of three laboratory cultures: Xenopsylla cheopis Rothschild, 1903 (Siphonaptera, Pulicidae), Citellophilus tesquorum Wagner, 1898 and Nosopsyllus laeviceps Wagner, 1909, (Siphonaptera, Ceratophyllidae). During the experiment, it was found that preparations based on zetacypermethrin and chlorpyrifos were highly insecticidal for Xenopsylla cheopis (S-XC), Citellophilus tesquorum (S-CT) and Nosopsyllus laeviceps (S-NL) fleas. The diagnostic concentrations found for insecticides using sensitive populations of S-shutters (S-XC, S-CT, and S-NL) were determined. It was established that German cockroaches of all the studied strains had the highest resistance to cypermethrin (92-> 4000×). Resistance to chlorpyrifos was also high (30-50×), only cockroaches from Magnitogorsk were tolerant to this active ingredient (5×). For the first time in Russia, extremely high cockroach resistance to fipronil (23-192×) has been established. In the studied strains of German cockroach, susceptibility or tolerance to neonicotinoids was recorded. Resistance ratios for thiamethoxam were 2.2-10× and for its active metabolite clothianidin were (1.3-9.6×). Mosaic resistance to indoxacarb (3.2-31×) and chlorfenapyr (2.5-60×) was found in different strains of German cockroach. Possible mechanisms of insect multiresistance to insecticides are discussed. A spatial analysis, mapping and visualization was carried out on the basis of data derived from state reports of the Rospotrebnadzor on the number of cases and the frequency of their registration in the context of municipalities. A typological classification of territories has been built using the developed scoring and the identification of statistically significant “hot” and “cold” spots has been provided. It has been established that the incidence of trichinosis in humans is associated with both the consumption of meat of wild animals and domestic pigs, which, apparently, is associated with the Trichinella species prevailing in each specific area. Regions with stably recorded incidence have been identified, however, the establishment of more obvious spatial patterns of the spread of trichinosis is hindered by the insufficiency and incompleteness of published data, in particular, the lack or inaccessibility of information on the Trichinella species composition and the fragmentation of data on the results of epidemiological investigations. The tested method gives an idea of the levels of risk of infection with trichinosis for the population of the region and can be used for more in-depth studies in the future.
