The composition of the vectors of VL foci are divided into monofactorial and polypectomy; participation as a reservoir of different mammals to natural and synanthropic, on monogotari and oligosaline. According to the intensity of the epidemic manifestation, foci are ranked into hyperendemic, mesoendemic and hypoendemic. The most favorable landscapes for the existence of the parasitic system of visceral leishmaniasis are the territories occupied by savannas, woodlands, Mediterranean dry forests and shrubs. Preventive measures in the foci of visceral leishmaniasis should be carried out differentially, depending on the belonging of foci to a certain rank.
