The fast development of populace joined with rising degrees of utilization and contamination has expanded water frailty in India. Meghalaya, concealed in the slopes of eastern sub-Himalayas is one of the most excellent states in the nation. Nature has favoured her with plenteous precipitation, sun-sparkle, virgin timberlands, high levels, tumbling cascades, completely clear waterways, wandering streamlets or more all with strong, shrewd and accommodating individuals. Yet Meghalaya had the lowest Water Index score of 26.This paper studies nine parameters where Meghalaya (being the worst performer with score of 26) is lagging behind from Gujarat (being the highest performer with the score of 76) in Composite Water Index. A descriptive analysis has been done and lessons gained are proposed for the management of water crisis in the state of Meghalaya.","PeriodicalId":151929,"journal":{"name":"Ushus - Journal of Business Management","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133585595","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper also examines the satisfaction level of the customers and e-trust towards e-commerce websites through a mediating role of customer experience. A conceptual model with a theoretical basis in the e-loyalty is developed to illuminate the antecedents of customer experience. In this article, an epigrammatic approach is adopted to explore the accuracies of the observations by empirical evidence. The results are expected to reveal the substantiality of customer experience and customer gratification towards e-loyalty.","PeriodicalId":151929,"journal":{"name":"Ushus - Journal of Business Management","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115344019","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Understanding the consumer consciousness or business ethicality of the products, services or the brands available is important for sustainable marketing. The present research explores the level of overall consumer consciousness about the business ethics adopted by different brands or products and whether consumer consciousness or perception remains different about the ethical practices followed by different companies, according to their places of origin. The results show that the overall consumer consciousness about the ethical practices of the products/brands available is significant and the consumer consciousness about the ethical business is different according to the regional groups.","PeriodicalId":151929,"journal":{"name":"Ushus - Journal of Business Management","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126071402","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The researcher has followed a mixed method approach for the research with a descriptive research design. Primary data was collected through a survey that was conducted with 450 participants which consisted of teenagers and adults aged between 16-30 years. This collected data was then quantified using mathematical tools to come to a conclusion. Secondary data was collected from online published research articles and convenience. The influence of both these factors have a different sense of impact on every individual in the buying process, but post analysis, utilitarian factors gained primacy over hedonic factors.","PeriodicalId":151929,"journal":{"name":"Ushus - Journal of Business Management","volume":"60 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122339770","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research variables were adopted in accordance to the legal provisions of SHG. Primary data of 127 random sample of MSMEs was collected through a survey method using structured questionnaire. Results show that 63% of the MSME has not undertaken any training for their suppliers, while a good proportion of the companies consisting of 15.7% have provided between 1-2 trainings. The study argues that the policy maker should identify large number of economically development-oriented skills and include them in training programmes to encourage increased development of microenterprises.","PeriodicalId":151929,"journal":{"name":"Ushus - Journal of Business Management","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125810952","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Daily data were analyzed for the period from April 2013 to June 2017. The main purpose was to identify the degree in which fear affecting the stock market percolates to Fixed Income Instruments. Using Panel Data Regression (Fixed Effect Model) the two variables were able to predict the VIX index and the model was found to be robust in nature. The major finding is that Fixed Income and stocks share a negative relationship with VIX (Fear Index).","PeriodicalId":151929,"journal":{"name":"Ushus - Journal of Business Management","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132682817","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

CAC40 is a French index which has been in existence since 1986 and BEL20 is a Belgian index whose calculation started four years later. A Granger Causality Test has been performed to check for causality relationships among both the indices. The dataset taken comprises logarithmic close prices on which Bivariate Granger Causality has been performed. The dataset spans for 20 years from 2000 to 2018. The study found the younger index BEL20 to be the driver index and CAC40 as the driven index. Thus, the conclusion drawn is that the performance of CAC40 depends on BEL20 most of the time.","PeriodicalId":151929,"journal":{"name":"Ushus - Journal of Business Management","volume":"115 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114407323","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
