There is a large number of studies to develop mobile applications. Nevertheless, some of them were not designed for the elderly to use easily. By 2021, Thailand will become a full-fledged ageing society. Workers aged more than 45 will be at greater risk of losing their job because of economic recession or the growth of AI technology. This paper demonstrates the usability testing of mobile job applications comparing three popular job apps used in Thailand. An analytical tool for prototypes and the System Usability Scale (SUS) were used to collect and analyse data. The main usability metrics in this study are effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction. The results show that using ambiguous labels, icons with multiple meanings, and using a \"hamburger\" icon can cause Thai senior users to become disoriented and affect their performances.","PeriodicalId":149643,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 6th International Conference on Frontiers of Educational Technologies","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125630706","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study proposes a general activity system of online encyclopedias based on Engeström's activity theory and develops a holistic system dynamics model according to the system dynamics method proposed by Forrester. This study enriches our understanding of the intrinsic dynamic of knowledge collaboration in online encyclopedias and demonstrates the gains in understanding system co-evolution achievable by utilizing the system dynamics method in concert with the activity theory.","PeriodicalId":149643,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 6th International Conference on Frontiers of Educational Technologies","volume":"130 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114695173","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The success of teacher feedback relates to the extent of student uptake towards the correction from the teacher--- whether they are aware so that correcting their errors or mistakes immediately, or they are unaware then missing the teacher correction. The current study aims to find out the number of the students' uptake towards their teacher recasts as one of the types of feedback, and to investigate the students' cognition towards the notion of recasts performed by their teacher. This study involved two high school students in an EFL classroom. Both students' English proficiency was categorized at the intermediate level by the teacher based on the grammaticality judgment test and speaking test conducted at the beginning of the semester. The data were collected through a checklist format in classroom observations and stimulated recall interviews. The findings show that due to several intervening factors, both students only repaired around thirty percent of the overall recasts given by the teacher. Further, both students also explained their ignorance of the nature of recasts so that their uptake was not considerably obtained.","PeriodicalId":149643,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 6th International Conference on Frontiers of Educational Technologies","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124370138","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Chang, Nguyen and Lin's scheme [1] proposed a reversible compression code hiding based on search order coding (SOC) algorithm and SMVQ. Based on their method, we have proposed some modification in this paper. In the embedding phase, we used SOC or SMVQ to encode the index, and used 1 bit as an indicator to indicate that the index is encoded. In the extraction phase, the receiver extracts the secret message and reconstructs the original SMVQ index us simple steps. Experimental results show that in the case of a state codebook with a size of 32, the compression rate of the proposed method was 0.26 bpp, which is better than the compression rate of 0.36 bpp, proposed by Chang et al.'s scheme. In the case of a state codebook with a size of 64, the compression rate of the proposed method was 0.27 bpp, which is still better than the compression rate of 0.41 bpp proposed by Chang et al.'s scheme. In the above two cases, embedding rate was kept same as the scheme proposed by Chang et al.","PeriodicalId":149643,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 6th International Conference on Frontiers of Educational Technologies","volume":"60 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116379674","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Depression is a disease that can be prevented if its symptoms are addressed in the earliest possible opportunity. Prevention against depression among university students in the Philippines is rare but is crucial because of the rising rate of suicide among the group. The project has produced a system that is used to perform initial diagnosis using MADRS (Montgomery-Asberg Depression Rating Scale) and PHQ (Patient Health Questionnaire) on a patient. It can also produce a report that the psychiatrist can use for initial profiling and ICD-10 (International Classification of Diseases - 10th revision) results for classifications based on the findings and can create a profile for the patients and psychiatrists which can be used for appointment bookings. The system also provides a module for psychiatrists to give a set of activities to and monitor their patients along with a history and log for all the patients' past transactions, activities, and illnesses.","PeriodicalId":149643,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 6th International Conference on Frontiers of Educational Technologies","volume":"257 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132533194","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Trabecular bone pattern is difficult to see by the naked eye due to the low contrast and low resolution of DPR. This can affect the performance of osteoporosis disease detection using Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). In this paper we propose the use of Line Operator (LO) on DPR images as a preprocessing method to enhance trabecular bone pattern for CNN-based osteoporosis detection. LO is a method that can enhance line-like structures in medical images such as retina and DPR dataset. To study the effect of LO on CNN-based osteoporosis detection, the performance of non-preprocessed images, LO-preprocessed images and LO + histogram equalization pre-processed images was compared. Results showed that LO-preprocessed images give best osteoporosis detection accuracy of 0.875","PeriodicalId":149643,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 6th International Conference on Frontiers of Educational Technologies","volume":"177 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-06-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127240081","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study aimed to describe the cultural art teacher perceptions on the implementation of flipped classroom approach. This study utilized survey method to obtain the data about teacher perceptions toward the implementation of the flipped classroom in cultural art classes. There were 32 Indonesian cultural art education teachers from various backgrounds involved in the present study. The survey results indicated that cultural art teachers had a positive perception toward the implementation of flipped classroom in cultural art learning. The main constraints faced by teachers to implement flipped classroom approach are inadequate facilities and infrastructures, and lack of internet access in some parts of Indonesia.
