Analysis results show the relationship between the steady state performance and a number of parameters, in particular the output capacitorpsilas ESR. If the ESR is too small, the output voltage ripple will increase significantly and a phase shift is resulted. It is for indicating the influence of wind farm operation in steady and transient state in Jeju island power system. For the computer simulation, four kinds of main items are modeled, which are 83 (MW) wind farm, 300 (MW) HVDC system, thermal power plant, and Jeju power load. To analyze the influence of the wind power generation to the Jeju power system, two kinds of simulations are carried out by using the PSCAD/EMTDC program. One is the steady state operation under the different wind speeds, and the other is the transient state operation when all of wind farms in Jeju island are disconnected from the Jeju power grid instantaneously due to the over wind speed than the rated value. First, the fine loss minimum conditions in the loop distribution systems are presented. Then, load voltage regulation by using the shunt compensation is presented. In order to achieve these two objectives, simultaneously, the unified power flow controller (UPFC) is used. The UPFC shunt converter is used as a shunt compensator to regulate the load voltage, and the UPFC series converter is used to control the power flow to achieve line loss minimization. Also, the proposed control schemes of the UPFC series and shunt converters are investigated. The project of robot was undertaken basing on the previous long experience of above partners in the field of advanced power electronics. The robot allows for teaching the knowledge that embraces many fields such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronics, power electronics, control engineering, microprocessor technique, elements of telecommunications, mechatronics and even also a certain knowledge of biology (use of biological prototypes). The research has been done by availing material models (laboratory stands) and mathematical models (computer simulations). The short description of the most important features of different PDS structures, with presenting their block diagrams, is done. The schematic diagram of simple, and relatively inexpensive, stand-alone PDS without electrical buffer source (e.g. electrochemical accumulator), and with DC commutator motor with permanent magnet excitement, is presented. To guide the selection of power components, assess low-inductive film capacitors and laminated bus bar, and in the end realize the high power density and high reliability for electrical vehicle inverters, a simulation platform based on Matlab/Simulink has been developed. Parameters of the simulation platform strictly accord with the practical working conditions, even parasitic existing in components and connections are also considered. This paper introduces the switching mechanism and the distribution of circuit parasitic. The system modeling and parameters confirmation of the simulation platform are presented in detail. Control of the DC boost stage and capacitor voltage is presented. The resonant regulators are used for selective harmonic cancellation of the output AC voltage. The Z-source inverter is able to provide higher AC voltage related to the DC link voltage than in conventional VSI, possessing embedded property of boost converter. This work presents the optimal control of boost factor and capacitor voltage, reducing the voltage transistor stress under desired AC voltage level. Experiment implementation on TMS320F2812 DSP show possibility of accommodating blanking time DSP circuits for controlling shoot-through duty ratio without any additional external logic. This type of operation is called ldquoconstant power operationrdquo and may be defined as second range of natural motor torque-speed characteristic. In case of motors excited with permanent magnets magnetic flux is constant, and while supply voltage remains constant, motor speed is also (approximately) kept constant. In practice, different solutions are attempted in order to achieve increased rotating speed of brushless motors at decreased torque. One of the methods, which make possible PM BLDC motor operation at increased speed and decreased torque, is use of electronic commutator with switchable bridge-half-bridge structure. The investigation presented in the paper has been aimed at estimation of losses and efficiency in the drive consisting of brushless motor operating with variable structure commutator.
