Emphasis in the development is placed on the current and complex legislative changes introduced by the Public Enterprises Act and the Regulations for its implementation, which are guarantee for the improvement of the corporate governance of public enterprises, of the results in their financial condition, limiting the fiscal risks, as well as increasing the publicity and accountability of their management. These variables are frequently used as synonymous, although they are having different nature and purposes. The high prices of many premium brands can be explained by how customers perceive the value of the product or service. Quality is one of the factors, social responsibility and business ethics are also factors. It is the reputation that creates the perception of value among consumers about the goods and services of the organization. Reputation is a matter of value system and leadership, part of the organization's strategy. The first one is with respect to the revenue (profitability in terms of revenue/price) and the second one is with respect to the expenses (profitability in terms of expenses). In the present paper the author makes an attempt to prove that it is an advisable and adequate approach to calculate the profit in terms of revenue/price.
