In the first part of the research work there are presented several models for studying the tourist potential of a territory. What unites them is the fact that most models emphasize the separate constituent elements and the interrelations between them. In the second part the resource potential for developing tourism in the researched site is analysed. The major issues of the research concern the parameters of tourist supply that include geographical location, natural and resource potential, cultural-and-historic potential, touristic infrastructure and superstructure. The results of the analysis show good opportunities for the researched site to be formed as a local tourist destination through creating sustainable connection tourism – nature – sport – folklore – ecology.","PeriodicalId":147865,"journal":{"name":"Izvestia Journal of the Union of Scientists - Varna. By imposing new regulatory requirements to various sectors of production and trade and bringing existing requirements up to date, it is possible to guarantee consumer health of a particular sector of consumption throughout the whole chain. The purpose of the present paper is to analyse advantages and disadvantages in applying an integrated approach to the implementation of uniform regulatory rules which are to ensure the quality and safety of goods across the entire agro-food chain. By applying the principles of the preventive approach to legislation, we seek to emphasize the key role of governmental agencies and their activities in setting common priority policies aimed at public health protection. The usefulness of the systematic approach in developing the general legislative framework which regulates safety along the entire agro-food chain has been also assessed. The results of said analysis show that the regulatory requirements are directly related to the strategic issues and goals of public administration and control regarding the provision and consumption of safe foods that will guarantee public health.","PeriodicalId":147865,"journal":{"name":"Izvestia Journal of the Union of Scientists - Varna. The purpose of this article is to investigate and summarize the changes in the retail distribution functions in an omnichannel environment in the context of economic and marketing theory. The role of distribution services, wholesale and retail trade is the starting point in the analysis of the added value of the trade sector. The author argues that in order to make sense of changes in the retail distribution functions, it is necessary to look at the buying, selling and exchange functions, marketing  and supply chain logistics in an interconnected way. The article is based on the research of authors in the field of distribution and retail economics and marketing. Empirical material from Bulgarian retail sector based on data from National Statistical Institution  and Euromonitor illustrates that retailing has started to operate in a omnichannel environment.","PeriodicalId":147865,"journal":{"name":"Izvestia Journal of the Union of Scientists - Varna. Different aspects of the question are analyzed - both theoretical and applied. The projects that are implemented in business organizations are the main focus. The aim is to seek, analyze and summarize various factors that are the most relevant for successful completion and final effect of the project - economic, technical, technological and social. Some adequate approaches and practices for reaching the intended project objective are searched for based on a study of theoretical positions, summary of current data and reports on the results of various projects. In the framework of this study is supported the thesis that there is a certain combination of critical success factors in the implementation of projects that have a decisive impact on the project process and its final result. For this reason, the good knowledge and effective management of these factors and their impact are confirmed as two of the main prerequisites for achieving success in the realization process.","PeriodicalId":147865,"journal":{"name":"Izvestia Journal of the Union of Scientists - Varna. The resale market is a worthy alternative and a competitive threat to the new consumer goods one not only for economic consumer reasons but also on a social and ethical ones. Content analysis of research papers shows that studies related to the development of the second-hand goods market and the factors that motivate consumers to participate are therefore few and there is no systematized statistical information for this type market segment. Considering the rapid development of the resale market which is scarcely researched, this paper investigate some of the major trends in the second hand goods market, their causes and impact on retail in the digital society.","PeriodicalId":147865,"journal":{"name":"Izvestia Journal of the Union of Scientists - Varna.
