The latest 3GPP/3GPP2 standards have already begun to support for H.264/SVC. Due to high packet loss rate in wireless environment, error resilience is still a challenge for H.264/SVC and error resilience tools of H.264/SVC are different from H.264/AVC. In this paper, we analyze the various error resilience tools of H.264/SVC and their functions and present two error resilience strategies for Multimedia Broadcast/Multicast Services and Conversational Service respectively. We test the proposed strategies by using the off-line common test conditions. Some approaches have been proposed to improved the basic procedures of the SA algorithm, such as the determination of initial temprature, the generation and acceptance of solutions, a recorder added, and the converage criterrion based on a newly defined relative precision. By using a multi-objective layout, the discrete optimization is combined with the continuous optizimation. The important algorithm control parameters, such as the number of random seeds and Markovian chain, are studied carefully by numerous tests. These improvements and studies have enhnced the robustness, efficiency and accuracy of the SA algorithm in the structural design optimazation problems. A certain number of traditional and a relatively complicated 200-bar problems are solved with the improved SA algorithm and compared with related examples in literatures. The numerical results have demonstrated that the improved SA algorithm of this paper has high-solution precision, and its solution efficiency has noticeably increased. We found that diamond search is fast and robust for most types of sequence. Based on temporal and spatial motion correlation among adjacent blocks in images, we propose a new fast and efficient block motion estimation algorithm which combines a series of steps such as distributed diamond search, prediction process for motion estimation and early termination. Experimental results show that the speed of our proposed algorithm is faster than predictive diamond searching algorithm (PDSA). Through the improvement of thin-film pulse sensor, the sensor location-related issues are solved. At the same time, low frequency filtering, second-level enlargement, and multiple analysis by using an embedded microprocessor are involved. Comparing the pulse parameters during human sleep under normal circumstances and the actual measurement of the pulse parameters can determine whether the sleep condition is normal. Under the condition of not influencing the users' sleep, the stimulator disturbs their insomnia mechanism and then improves the sleep quality. To perform traffic engineering based on a given topological structure and Qos requirement of the network, the layout design must be carried out to serach an optimal link set and to make the flow distribution. One advantage of off-line MPLS layout design is to allow a globally optimal network design. To obtain the optimal MPLS layout, namely, to minimize the link set of LSP and to allocate flow hereinafter is designated as MPSFAP (Minimum Path Set and Flow Allocation Problem). It is diffcult to get an exact solution to MPSFAP because it is a mixed-integer nonlinear multi-depot problem. Here, we propose a heuristic algorithm based on tabu search to solve the problem. Then the system extracts three characteristic parameters: the number of pilling, total area of pilling and optical volume of pilling and describes the relationship between grades. Finally, in the three-dimensional space, the grade evaluation of fabric pilling is implemented by use of the least distance method. A method based on pyramid-structured wavelet transform (PSWT) for object recognition on high-resolution remote sensing image is put forward. First, the model image and the search image are decomposed to pyramid-structure by wavelet transform. A novel match metric is computed using direction vectors constructed by the high-frequency information of wavelet coefficients. This metric is robust to occlusion, clutter, illumination changes. And the matching can be implemented until the highest level of decomposing to track said instances of the model in the lowest one. The method has been proved to save 62.3% memory and decrease the needed decoding speed more than R.
