Firstly, the robust watermark is embedded in the intermediate frequency of DDWT and SVD of the original image. Next, the fragile watermark is adaptively embedded into spatial domain. Simulation results show that the algorithm presented is very effective and can be widely used in practice.","PeriodicalId":143959,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on Image Analysis and Signal Processing","volume":"115 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-04-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133539618","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There is a need to improve the maintenance of electric switch machines, in particular the locking mechanism, which needs precise adjustment to within 0.1 mm. The work that we present here is concerned with the application of an image processing algorithm that detects the Indication Indentation of switch machines. In this study, the Canny Edge Detector is used to obtain the edge values in binary image. The Zhang Suen Thinning Method is used to reduce the thickness of the edges. In post-processing, the Probabilistic Hough Transform (PHT) is used to detect the lines through the edge lines obtained. The proposed approach significantly improves the performance of the line detection and makes the transform more robust to the detection of the spurious lines.","PeriodicalId":143959,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on Image Analysis and Signal Processing","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-04-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129646147","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A nonlinear dynamics system may exhibit chaotic phenomenon if its parameters match certain combinations. This paper studied the Lorenz system through numeric simulation using phase graph and power spectrum method. It examined the nonlinear properties of the Lorenz system by varying the state parameters in both time and frequency field. It is found that 1) the chaotic patterns of the Lorenz system might emerge out of Pomeau-Manneville route and its intermittence was related to Hopf bifurcation and period-doubling bifurcation; 2) the system had to go through a series of period-doubling bifurcation routes before reaching chaotic state.","PeriodicalId":143959,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on Image Analysis and Signal Processing","volume":"69 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-04-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132544024","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the method, calibration is carried out using a 2D control field composed by the completely flat Liquid Crystal Display (LCD), on which lots of circle points with known coordinates are drawn by a simple program. Then, the technology of multi-baselines stereo matching is introduced and applied to get highly reliable corresponding points to achieve good triangulation results using fast bundle adjustment. For the case of chaos-based sequence and octal chaos-based pseudorandom sequence produced by Logistic map and one-way coupled lattice, an example is made to demonstrate how it works. By improving permutation patterns, this method can be applied to binary chaos-based pseudorandom sequence. Simulations indicate that the method is effective to reflect the complexity of different chaos-based pseudorandom sequences produced by chaotic system, and it is superior to the entropy measure method.","PeriodicalId":143959,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on Image Analysis and Signal Processing","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-04-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125237128","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The level set method based on curves evolving theory and partial differential equation theory is widely applied in the segmentation of medical image. The level set method can handle topology changes effectively. In this paper, a penalized energy is added into the geodesic active contour (GAC) model and the C_V model respectively to eliminate the re-initialization procedure completely. Then, a term of boundary information is added into the C_V model to incorporate regional and gradient information together for better segmentation. The segmentation for medical image sequence which is implemented in this paper is the necessary preparation for 3D reconstruction later on. The obtained results have shown desirable segmentation performance.","PeriodicalId":143959,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on Image Analysis and Signal Processing","volume":"86 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-04-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123922925","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A successful segmentation can remove the background in the fingerprint image so as to reduce the performance time of the image enhancement and the number of false features [1]. The conventional methods segment fingerprints by using information of orientation or grey deviation; however, there are some difficulties in dealing with remaining fingerprint and spots. In this paper, we present a novel online fingerprint segmentation method based on frame difference. In our method, the segmentation is performed in the online process of capturing image, not using information of orientation or grey deviation. The background is extracted from the sequential images captured by fingerprint sensor and the background is removed by using frames difference. The background with the remaining fingerprints and spots can be removed effectively by the method. The approach has been used in the fingerprint identification system. The performance of the system and the experimental results prove its practicability and efficiency.","PeriodicalId":143959,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on Image Analysis and Signal Processing","volume":"66 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-04-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121473014","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Selecting and positioning ground control points (GCP) is one of the most important parts of geometry correction to produce the DOM. In order to reduce the manual work of selecting GCPs and increase the correction precision, it is necessary to improve the automation of image correction and advance the GCP matching method. In this paper, the GCP chip database was designed from the organization and function first, and then the simple wedge corner matching algorithm, based on the database, was adopted to match GCP automatically. Based on the GCP chip database, the GCP collecting and querying was introduced, and the GCP matching was carried out automatically. By analyzing the results of experiment, we concluded that the GCP with image chips from the database improved the automation of image correction, and the simple wedge corner model matched GCP effectively in a certain range to GCP matching.","PeriodicalId":143959,"journal":{"name":"2009 International Conference on Image Analysis and Signal Processing","volume":"56 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-04-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121489201","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
