The compound form of K-distribution sea clutter model was introduced to calculate probability of detection of sea skimming target in sea clutter and noise, the detection performance of single air-borne radar and ship-borne radar was calculated and compared. The detection performance of 3 cooperation dispositions was evaluated with the criterion of coverage area ratio and mean track initiation distance. The approach starts by segmenting the word images into their constituent letter representatives through exploiting a set of structural features. For classification, Gabor transform-based features are extracted from each letter that passed to a SVM classifier for recognition. For training and testing, we used IESK-arDB database, which is an Arabic off-line handwritten database, that containing the most common Arabic words as well as security-related Arabic terms. The database is developed in the Institute for Electronics, Signal Processing and Communication (IESK) at Otto-von- Guericke University Magdeburg, Germany. And it is freely available at (http://www.iesk-ardb.ovgu.de/). The approach achieved an average of 70% segmentation accuracy on 600 word images. A bit-level power allocation method is used to achieve the shaping gain on the criterion that the mutual information between channel inputs and outputs is maximized. An optimization method based on Gaussian approximation is introduced to search the degree distributions of the employed LDPC codes. We focus on resolving three problems which are fast hand motion capture, hand over face and hand occlusions. At first, an effective dynamic model for state prediction is used. This dynamic model can correctly predict the location of hand which has a rapid movement and quick shape deformation. Then, new energy terms are augmented into the energy function in graph cuts. The additional terms are inspired by multi cues, such as color, motion and spatial-temporal information. Finally, we construct the graph and achieve the hand segmentation in successive frames using min-cut/max-flow algorithm. We evaluate our algorithm in a real American Sign Language video from Purdue ASL Database. The performance of detection can be improved via utilizing the multipath echoes. First, the reflection coefficient considering the curved earth effect is derived. Then, the general signal model for MIMO radar is introduced for fluctuating target in low-grazing angle. Using the Neyman-Pearson sense, detector of fluctuating target with multipath is analyzed. Firstly, The fitness function is constructed to value the quality of candidate sequence. Sencondly, the feasibility that HC algorithm is used to estimate the spreading sequence is analysed according to the fitness function. In order to construct a uniform resolution model of Kalman Filter, the equations of state and measurement are processed with DWT at different resolution levels, and then the measurements of the same resolution level are fused and filtered. Long Term Evolution (LTE), which is the standard of next generation mobile communication systems proposed by The 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP), has implemented some novel and advanced technologies to supply high data rate, high spectral efficiency, low latency, and so on. Although LTE keeps high spectral efficiency, it suffers serious inter-cell interference, which will affect the system performance especially the cell-edge performance. As an effective frequency planning strategy, Soft Frequency Reuse (SFR) is proposed in LTE systems for inter-cell interference coordination as well as maintaining spectrum efficiency. In this paper, we analysis the theoretical inter-cell interference about SFR briefly, and then investigate the system performance of SFR for LTE on railway scenario by varying power ratio, carrier frequency, Component Carrier load balance. With the simulation results, the advantages and limitations of SFR are comprehensively analyzed and compared against the traditional frequency reuse (TFR) as a reference. We give some meaningful conclusions on the performance of SFR scheme, especially the performance improvement when varying the carrier frequency offers the opportunity to implement Carrier Aggregation in LTE.
