The aim of current study is to determine the exact status of scabies infestation in Duhok province and some Duhok refugees’ camps in order to get better management and control of scabies disease. The prevalence of Scabies was 5.52% and 5.45% in both Duhok province and Duhok refugees’ camps respectively, the incidence was higher in female in both Duhok province (52.41%) and Duhok refugees’ camps (57.89%). The highest scabies incidence was shown in 31 40 years age group, and the lowest incidence in 50 years and over age group. The highest infestation percentage was recorded in January (19.90%) and February (16.10%) and the lowest infestation percentage in April (9.80%) and July (6.70%). According to education status of infested patients, in Duhok province and Duhok refugees’ camps the infestation rate of illiterate patients recorded in 85% and 95% respectively. The “Politics Perception Scale”, developed by Kacmar and Ferris [1] in 1991, was used to measure the political behavior within the firm. The absence of such a research for construction sector employees is the starting point of this study. In this study, the perceptions of organizational politics encountered in construction sector employees were analyzed using the “Politics Perception Scale”. Data on the items directed to the participants were collected by a questionnaire. Frequency distribution of measurement items was obtained and reliability analysis was made for the data. Graphical distributions of the items used in the measurement of the factors that constitute the perception of organizational politics scale (POPS) are presented. Correlation coefficients between factors were calculated by correlation analysis. The results showed that among the 5 factors that constitute the perception of organizational politics scale, the factor of “self serving content” ranks first in organizational behavior. Virtual reality, which is the subject of stories and stories in the field of literature, has been in our lives since the 1950s. It is used in many areas, including our daily life, and has also potential use in new areas. Virtual reality, which is used in the fields of health, tourism, architecture, education, medicine, e commerce and agriculture, in addition to video and game activities, greatly facilitates human life. The most important of the facilities it provides is the diversity of usage areas and the fact that virtual reality environments provide the closest presentation to the reality. In this study, information was given about virtual reality platforms, tools used and usage sectors. It is aimed to discuss not only leisure time activity, but also a technology that facilitates us in all areas of life and the present and future potential of this technology. Dogru, Simge Cepdibi","doi":"10.7176/jstr/6-11-01","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.7176/jstr/6-11-01","url":null,"abstract":"Learning disability is a type of disability that is usually noticed when the child starts school. Early special education interventions can have very positive effects on the academic life of children with learning disability. For this reason, whether or not these students have reached the maturity required to start school during the transition from kindergarten to primary school will increase the effect of the intervention to be presented to them. It is also important how much the level of school maturity of students with learning disability can explain the problems they face during their literacy process. Accordingly, the aim of the study is to determine the relationship between school maturity and writing skills in first grade students with learning disability. This research is exploratory correlational research. The sample of this research is 57 primary school students who are diagnosed with learning disability and continue to being rehabilitee. \"Metropolitan School Readiness Test (MSRT)\" and \"Writing Skill Evaluation Form\" scales are used. Besides, was included school success and demographic information of students obtained from interviews with teachers in the current study. Correlation analysis was conducted to determine the relationship between the scores obtained from the variables. As a result of the analysis, it was revealed that there was no significant relationship between school maturity and writing skills of students with learning disability. However, it was found that there is a negative relationship between the scores gathered from the Metropolitan School Readiness Test's \"Word Comprehension, Matching and Copying\" subscales and Writing Skill Evaluation Form \"Writing Order\" subscale. Also, it was found that there is a positive relationship between the scores obtained from the Metropolitan School Readiness Test \"Word Understanding, Matching and Copying\" subscales and \"Dictation\". This research once again draws attention to the unique learning features of students with learning disability. The results of this study have shown that students with learning disability are dependent on other factors rather than school maturity underlying literacy problems. In order to reinstate the ecological balance, the efficient use of energy has gained importance all over the world. Since then, this approach has emerged in every field possible. It has also emerged in the construction industry with various names such as green, sustainable and ecological, and in order to minimize the negative effects, some countries have developed various certification systems. Green buildings aim to maximize energy, water and materials savings while minimizing resource usage. Certification systems that have been developed are used for performing objective analysis based on preset evaluation criteria. Although categories in the certification systems vary, they are generally based on similar properties. In this study, the concept of sustainability, green buildings, BREEM, SBTool, Green Star, CASBEE, and LEED certification systems have been evaluated via a literature review. Following, the sustainable sites category of the LEED certification system’s latest three versions i.e. v3, v4 and v4.1 have been compared. University libraries, like other libraries, already started to benefit from the cloud computing service model that provides benefits such as diversity, flexibility, continuity, scalability, and cost effectiveness in their information services. In recent years, the increase in the number of universities has also increased the number of university libraries in Turkey. Cloud computing will enable university libraries, especially those with limited budgets, to provide information services more cost effectively. In this study it is aimed to evaluate the position of university libraries in Turkey within the context of cloud computing. The structured interview technique was used in the research. SPSS program was used to evaluate the data. Percentage values, frequency and Chi square statistic calculations were used to analyze the data. As a result of the research, the existing conditions and problems in the usage cloud service model in university libraries have been tried to be identified, a road map for solving these problems has been put into in this context. In this study, it was aimed to examine the effect of 5th -grade students' mathematics teaching through teaching with EBA activities (lectures, exercises, scanning tests) on natural numbers, natural numbers, and operations on success and attitude in mathematics class. The experimental method was used in this research. A total of 138 fifth grade students, 72 experimental and 66 control group, participated in the study in a secondary school affiliated to a city center in the South East Anatolia region. The mathematics attitude scale and the mathematics achievement test developed by the researchers were used to collect data. There is no difference between the groups according to the mathematics pre-attitude scale. While the students in the control group were teaching by presentation, the experiment group was taught with EBA activities. The multiple-choice achievement test attitude scale related to the unit was applied before and after the application in the study, which lasted 38 lesson hours. The data obtained from the success test were evaluated using 3 X 2 repeated measures analysis of variance (ANOVA). The data obtained were analyzed with the SPSS 20.0 package program. Kolmogorov-Smirnov Z Test, Levene Test, and independent-sample t-test were used in the analysis of the data. At the end of the study, a significant difference in favor of the experimental group was found between the mathematics success and mathematics attitude posttest scores of the experimental group taught with EBA activities and the control group (t = 6.437; p = 0.013, <0.05). New functional components, additives that improve texture and sensory properties, and new technologies that extend shelf life also encourage new product development with impressive opportunities. However, the variety of cross modal interactions that occur between aroma, taste, and texture depending on the food matrix during food consumption makes it very complicated to explain this perception with the individual’s physiological state and habits. Individuals experience many sensations when eating or drinking, such as taste, smell, touch, warmth, vision, sound, and sometimes pain and irritation. Although this versatile sensory experience forms the basis of perceived aroma and texture, some sensations are perceived individually differently than others. Understanding the mechanisms involved in food sensory perception is the basis of consumer studies. This review explains how all these sensations interact on both perceptual and physical levels.
