Literacy further develops into a basic skill to be able to compete amid today's globalizations. It is also an important competency to be developed for students through the learning process. Creative pedagogy is a solution to solving this problem where students have creative potential that must be supported to be developed. Through learning the local history of Langkat Sultanate, a creative pedagogical approach can be applied by combining the use of literacy to carry out learning. By using literature study, the author constructs the discussion in this article to obtain a meaningful picture of how to apply creative pedagogy and literacy learning in learning the local history of the Langkat Sultanate. The integration of these approaches produces creative literacy concepts that provide opportunities for students to develop multicompetence such as 21st-century and literacy skills, including digital literacy. These skills are very relevant to the goals of education to create human resources who are intelligent, competitive, and have character. \u0000Perkembangan era digital telah memberi banyak perubahan dalam kehidupan manusia termasuk transformasi pendidikan dan literasi. Literasi lebih lanjut berkembang menjadi suatu kecakapan dasar untuk dapat bersaing ditengah globalisasi dimasa ini. Selain itu, kreativitas menjadi kompetensi penting yang harus dikembangkan kepada peserta didik melalui proses pembelajaran. Pedagogi kreatif menjadi solusi untuk memecahkan persoalan tersebut dimana peserta didik memiliki potensi kreatif yang harus didukung untuk dikembangkan. Melalui pembelajaran sejarah lokal Kesultanan Langkat, pendekatan pedagogi kreatif dapat diterapkan dengan memadukan penggunaan literasi untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran. Dengan menggunakan studi literatur, Penulis mengkonstruksi pembahasan dalam artikel ini untuk mendapatkan gambaran bermakna bagaimana menerapkan pedagogi kreatif dan pembelajaran literasi dalam pembelajaran sejarah lokal Kesultanan Langkat. Integrasi dari sejumlah pendekatan tersebut menghasilkan konsep literasi kreatif yang memberikan kesempatan kepada peserta didik untuk mengembangkan multikompetensi seperti keterampilan abad 21 dan keterampilan literasi, termasuk literasi digital. Many children don't know anything about Pancasila, nationalist figures and even national songs. Therefore, it is very important to implement civic education with the aim of maintaining and maintaining Pancasila and fostering attitudes and behaviors that love the country, have a democratic spirit, become disciplined citizens and participate actively in building life. In addition to the current situation, pandemic Covid-19. The pandemic Covid-19  has an impact on all aspects of life, one of which is the education aspect. All schools in Indonesia changed their learning system to an online learning system. This online learning will have an impact on the urgency of character education for children in learning civic education. The goal is to provide information about the urgency of civic education in an effort to build and improve the character of children during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this writing uses the literature method. The results of this discussion urgency, civic education, character, and online learning during thepandemic Covid-19. \u0000Di zaman sekarang ini banyak hal yang dapat mempengaruhi karakter anak dalam kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara. Banyak anak anak tidak mengetahui sama sekali mengenai Pancasila, tokoh-tokoh nasionalisme dan bahkan lagu-lagu nasional.  Maka dari itu, sangat penting menerapkan pendidikan kewarganegaraan dengan tujuan untuk menjaga dan mempertahankan Pancasila serta menumbuhkan sikap dan perilaku cinta tanah air, berjiwa demokratis, menjadi warga negara yang disiplin dan berpartisipasi aktif dalam membangun kehidupan.  Di tambah keadaan saat ini, pandemi covid-19 ini memberikan dampak ke seluruh aspek kehidupan salah satunya ialah aspek pendidikan. Seluruh sekolah di Indonesia merubah sistem pembelajarannya dengan sistem pembelajaran daring. Pembelajaran daring ini akan membawa dampak pada sebuah urgensi pendidikan karakter anak dalam pembelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan. Tujuannya untuk memberikan informasi mengenai urgensi pendidikan kewarganegaraan dalam upaya membangun dan meningkatkan karakter anak di masa pademi covid-19. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini menggunakan metode literatur. The number of positive cases of Covid-19 in Indonesia has not been fully completed. In an effort to prevent the impact of Covid-19 from getting worse, each country has issued various policies in an effort to suppress the spread of the virus. These various policies are preventive measures so that everyone can avoid transmission. Some of these policies include implementing online learning, reducing activities outside the home, limiting the occurrence of crowds, limiting opening hours or closing some crowded places, using masks, and various other rules. But unfortunately so far there are still many people who do not comply with the Health Protocol. One of them is often found in residents of Tambakrejo, Semarang. Many children, adults, the elderly and even the elderly who do not wear masks, crowd and there are no hand washing facilities. In addition, the lack of literacy on Health Protocol education and low Social Awareness can cause the spread of the Corona Virus to spread. Therefore, preventive measures are needed for residents so that the chain of the spread of Covid-19 can be broken. \u0000This condition has moved us as a service team to be able to help and lighten their burden. Through this PPM activity, we try to provide several activities that we put into one program, which we call the “PELITA” (Our Environmental Approach) program. This program aims not only to provide knowledge about new adaptation habit policies, not only to provide education related to Health Protocols but further than that, this service activity seeks to strengthen Social Awareness for residents. So, through this service, Social Awareness has become one of our important focuses in order to lead the community, especially the residents of Tambakrejo, to be able to strengthen the social competence of the Tambakrejo residents so that they can work together in dealing with various Threats, Challenges, Obstacles and Disturbances during this pandemic. \u0000The results of this activity are Strengthening Social Awareness and Optimizing the Implementation of Health Protocols in the New Normal Era through the \"Pelita Program\" at TPQ Al-Firdaus Tambakrejo Semarang. This PELITA program is to get closer to our brothers and sisters who are experiencing difficulties or lacks both in terms of education, motivation, and economy. In more detail, these activities include Policy Socialization, 5 M Education, Health Protocol Video Turorials, Optimization of Social Media, Active Campaigns, Partnerships and Strengthening Social Awareness. \u0000  \u0000Pandemi Covid-19 sampai detik ini masih terus ada disekitar kita. Globalization that is engulfing the world today causes the boundaries of a region or country to seem increasingly transparent. This has an impact on people's lives. Penglipuran is an example of a traditional village in Bali. This village still adheres to the concept of Tri Hita Karana, especially in its socio-cultural life. One of the Tri Hita Karana concepts is the Pawongan concept which regulates human relations with humans. This study aims to explain and understand the social dynamics of the life of the traditional village community of Penglipuran and Tenganan who still survive in their traditional life and maintain their customs in the midst of the globalization era. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection methods used are observations, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that, although the people of Penglipuran village strongly adhere to local culture, they are not left behind by the progress of this era, it can be seen from their social situation. The Penglipuran people use their local culture as a tool to filter out those arising from global interactions in modern times and become a tool in strengthening socio-cultural resilience within the framework and culture of their ancestors. For the indigenous people of the Penglipuran traditional village, they must have high self-awareness to preserve local traditions and wisdom and maintain traditional values ​​or Awig-awig so that traditional culture and traditions are not eroded by developments and globalization in this modern era. \u0000  \u0000Dewasa ini di Indonesia pada umumnya dan di Bali pada khususnya sedang mengalami suatu perubahan yang signifikan disegala bidang. Globalisasi yang telah melanda dunia saat ini menyebabkan batas-batas suatu wilayah ataupun negara seolah-olah semakin transparan. Hal ini membawa dampak pada kehidupan masyarakatnya. Penglipuran merupakan contoh dari desa adat yang ada di Bali. Desa ini masih memegang teguh konsep Tri Hita Karana terutama dalam kehidupan sosial budayanya. Salah satu konsep Tri Hita Karana yakni konsep Pawongan yang mengatur hubungan manusia dengan manusia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan dan memahami dinamika sosial budaya kehidupan masyarakat desa adat Penglipuran dan Tenganan yang masih bertahan dalam kehidupan tradisional serta tetap melestarikan adat istiadat di tengah era Globalisasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa, meskipun masyarakat desa Penglipuran sangat memegang teguh budaya lokal tetapi mereka tidak tertinggal oleh kemajuan zaman hal ini dapat dilihat dari keadaan sosialnya. The results showed that: (a) most of the students gave a positive response to the application of the TPS type cooperative learning model, (b) the results of observations showed that most of the students could be active in the learning process, (c) the results of the formative and summative tests showed that the students experience an increased level of completeness, (d) the TPS type cooperative learning model can increase student learning activities and mastery. \u0000Ketidakmampuan sebagian besar siswa dalam memecahkan suatu permasalahan memperlihatkan bahwa siswa belum memahami konsep yang diajarkan guru dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, keterampilan memecahkan suatu permasalahan secara individu dan bekerjasama, siswa perlu diarahkan kepada suatu pemahaman, salah satunya dengan menentukan model pembelajaran, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) merupakan sebuah model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan efektivitas belajar psikomotorik siswa. With this virus, people cannot carry out their social functions properly. The method used in this article is a qualitative research method. The data collection technique used was through the distribution of questionnaires.The distribution of questionnaires was given to the general public as many as 52 people. The results of this study indicate that 1) tolerance is an attitude of respect for one another even though everyone in the world has differences, be it ethnicity, race, or whatever. 2) With an attitude of tolerance that we apply in everyday life, people can have more respect for differences in their social environment and tolerance can prevent divisions in society. 3) Virus corona can make people stop carrying out their functions in social life. This can affect the tolerance and solidarity that exists in society. 4) The tolerance that existed in society during a pandemic was quite high. \u0000Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana sikap toleransi masyarakat akibat adanya virus baru yang membuat kehidupan kita berubah. Dengan adanya virus ini, masyarakat tidak bisa menjalankan fungsi sosialnya dengan baik. Metode yang digunakan dalam artikel ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah melalui pembagian kuisioner. Pembagian kuisioner diberikan kepada masyarakat umum sebanyak 52 orang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) toleransi adalah sikap menghargai satu sama lain walaupun setiap orang di dunia memiliki perbedaan baik itu suku, ras, atau apapun.2) dengan adanya sikap toleransi yang kita terapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, masyarakat bisa lebih menghargai terhadap perbedaan yang ada di lingkungan sosialnya dan juga sikap toleransi dapat mencegah terjadinya perpecahan di masyarakat. 3) Adanya virus corona dapat membuat masyarakat berhenti menjalankan fungsinya dalam kehidupan sosial. The scope of social studies is human social life in society. Therefore, this community is the main source of IPS. Whatever aspect of social life we ​​study, whether it be social relations, economics, culture, psychology, history, geography, or politics, comes from society. So, we need a philosophical approach that will provide modern, unconventional learning such as the constructivism approach. The method used in this research is the library study method. This research leads to the finding that teachers are no longer the only providers of knowledge. No longer the only source of learning. However, the teacher is positioned more as a facilitator who facilitates students to be able to learn and construct their knowledge. Based on observations on local wisdom and Javanese culture, the incorporation of social studies learning using a constructivist approach is expected to be able to make students democratic, responsible, and peaceful citizens of the world. \u0000Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial memiliki dimensi keilmuan yang sangat luas. Ruang lingkup IPS adalah kehidupan sosial manusia di masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, masyarakat inilah yang menjadi sumber utama IPS. Aspek kehidupan sosial apapun yang kita pelajari, apakah itu hubungan sosial, ekonomi, budaya, kejiwaan, sejarah, geografi, ataupun politik, bersumber dari masyarakat. Sehingga dibutuhkan suatu pendekatan filsafat yang akan memberikan suatu pembelajaran yang modern tidak konvensional seperti pendekatan konstruktivisme. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode studi kepusatakaan. Penelitian ini bermuara pada temuan bahwa guru tidak lagi menduduki tempat sebagai satu-satunya pemberi ilmu. Tidak lagi sebagai satu-satunya sumber belajar. Namun guru lebih diposisikan sebagai fasiltator yang memfasilitasi siswa untuk dapat belajar dan mengkonstruksi pengetahuannya sendiri. For this reason, a study with a quantitative approach was carried out by distributing questionnaires (surveys) to scout members at the Cimahi City Branch Kwartir base and reporting the results descriptively. Scouting is important in shaping a nation so that it has an attitude of love for the country. Looking at the community, scouting activities aim to increase the resources of young Indonesians and increase the sense of nationalism which in the current era of globalization feels faded. Scouts teach each member to always obey all applicable regulations. \u0000Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) sikap berbangsa yang dapat diterapkan dari kegiatan pramuka, (2) nilai-nilai Pancasila yang diimplementasikan dari berkegiata pramuka, (3) menanamkan jiwa nasionalisme dan kebangsaan, (4) menumbuhkan rasa cinta tanah air, (5) mengetahui hal positif apa saja yang didapatkan dari kegiatan pramuka, dan (5) pengaruh covid-19 dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pramuka. Untuk itu, dilakukan sebuah penelitian dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan membagikan kuisioner (survei) kepada anggota pramuka di pangkalan Kwartir Cabang Kota Cimahi dan melaporkan hasilnya dengan deskriptif. Kepramukaan dianggap penting dalam membentuk generasi bangsa agar memiliki sikap cinta tanah air. Melihat dari tujuannya, kegiatan pramuka bertujuan untuk meningkatkan sumber daya kaum muda Indonesia dan meningkatkan rasa nasionalisme yang pada era globalisasi seperti saat ini terasa telah memudar.
