The main method of the research was terminological-conceptual analysis.This study defined the requirements for methodological theories and for the theory of non-native language teaching methods in particular. Among them are general requirements for the theories (systemic character; generalized character, validity and reliability of its statements; depth, completeness, integrity, explanatory and predictive capacity; corresponding to the scientific style norms and logic of its presentation), specific pedagogical requirements (possibility of use its statements in the practice of teaching) and methodological requirements (reliance on general pedagogical statements; standing in the area of modern Russian theory of non-native language teaching).Analysis of the term “non-native language” in relation to the theory of teaching methods allowed to conclude that in the area of this theory is better to use it in most general, generic sense. Analysis of definitions of the concept “teaching method” showed that its better definition is a definition as the set of principles and techniques of teaching.","PeriodicalId":140424,"journal":{"name":"RUDN Journal of Russian and Foreign Languages Research and Teaching","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127641180","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

During the analysis of scientific researches the necessity of students autonomy during language courses was found out. For the first time the author defines the principle of students autonomy as basis of autonomous listening in educational process. The author proves the necessity of autonomy principle actualization in forming capability for listening by widening international cooperation, requirements of program documents and information technology. On the basis of the conducted research the author provided the technology of forming the capability for autonomous listening of students during basic language course. The principles, the methods, the strategies and the means of forming the capability for autonomous listening are presented in this article. The author distinguishes successive steps of cooperation between teacher and student defining common strategies of teacher which stimulate students for autonomous listening of audio materials for the purpose of self-consistent comprehension and information processing, and also for potential forms of self- and inter-control in order to establish a high level of using the skills of autonomous listening in educational process.","PeriodicalId":140424,"journal":{"name":"RUDN Journal of Russian and Foreign Languages Research and Teaching","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121732199","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The paper is devoted to definition of the correlation between the components of religious creolised texts and national linguaculture. Relevance of a research is defined by a rate of such texts in media and ambiguity of their misinterpretation both by the recipients learning Russian and Russian natives. The use of nonverbal sources gives to the recipient more freedom for decodingthat sometimes leads to negative consequences. Worldwide scandals anyhow related to caricatures (mostly, anticlerical) became more frequent. To Rosse Flemming, the editor of the Danish newspaper “Jyllands-Posten”, in the book “Case of caricatures of the prophet Muhammad” tells that he couldn’t imagine the role of future world crisis when in September, 2005 granted he gave his permission for the publishing twelve cartoons of the Muslim prophet [1]. In 2005 even more tragic event took place in Paris. Shooting at publishing house of the French comical newspaper of Charlie Hebdo was followed by lots of pros and cons of creativity of the killed authors. Such sharpness increases scientific interest to this area. There is a range of new papers devoted to studying of a phenomenon of a caricature, the description of the principle of its impact on recipients, setting standards of ethics and morals in the genre. The diachronic description of verbal representors of a concept of religion that express irony allows tracking changes in the modality of Russian natives.","PeriodicalId":140424,"journal":{"name":"RUDN Journal of Russian and Foreign Languages Research and Teaching","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122263114","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Culinary cultural code “encodes” our understanding of the world through food images having names. The author’s goal is to reveal the general and the specific in the development of secondary names of food; consider the food names specific for the ethnic cultures being compared, tracing their fate in the secondary semiosis - in metaphores, similes, phraseological expressions, proverbs - on the material of nouns in two Slavic languages, Russian and Czech. The article concludes that the facts of secondary naming transmitting culinary code often carry culturological information, objectify particular perceptions of the world by different ethnic groups, even those going back to the common Proto-Slavic roots. Bilingual comparison of lexical units transmitting cultural code allows a certain way of organizing lexical material for it to be studied by non-Russian Slavic audiences. On the basis of the linguocultural analysis of food names in the two compared Slavic languages, the article offers linguo-didactic grouping of the vocabulary in their figuratve meanings, in accordance with the belonging to a particular culture code. This will ensure effective mastering of the vocabulary of a certain thematic group not only in the denotative, but also in the conceptual meaning, making it possible to comprehend the culture, transmitted by the closely related language under study, in comparison with the native culture.","PeriodicalId":140424,"journal":{"name":"RUDN Journal of Russian and Foreign Languages Research and Teaching","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114915857","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The author defines the genre-oriented approach as the focus of linguistic education on mastering communicative activities in a genre aspect, through a focused exploration of genre forms of everyday, public and/or professional speech based on models of speech genres relevant to a particular student body. The process of mastering genres of speech includes a consistent achievement of the level of genre awareness and genre competence. Genre awareness is understood by the author as the linguistic persona ability to perceive and correctly use texts/utterances of a range of genres, awareness of norms, rules and scripts for speech behaviour in typical situations of communication. It is a set of basic genre knowledge, skills and competencies that allow a person to participate in everyday and academic communication. Genre competence is understood by the author as the ability of a linguistic persona to consciously predict the genre organization of speech, understand and generate texts / statements of different genres depending on the situation of communication, to manage the situation of communication. Genre competence is a quality of an individual that determines the ability and readiness for professional (including scientific) communication. The achievement of genre awareness and genre competence levels is viewed by the author as successive stages of genre thinking development of a linguistic persona. The transition from genre awareness to genre competence is characterized by increasing the level (depth) of comprehension of the genre aspect of speech activity. Methodological support of this process is one of the important tasks of the methods of teaching Russian as a native, non-native and foreign language. The development of genre competences of a student body has its own peculiarities and requires the creation of special genre-oriented teaching methods.","PeriodicalId":140424,"journal":{"name":"RUDN Journal of Russian and Foreign Languages Research and Teaching","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128134564","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The purposes of the article are as follows: a comparison of recent lexicographic proceedings devoted to prepositions; a detection of main problems arising while studying the part of speech in question today and a quest for the ways of solving them. The comparison is based on the prepositional lists elicited from five dictionaries and special editions being published in the XXI century. The comparative analysis results have brought to light three key problems the Russian language researches deal with currently: the fuzziness of concept “preposition”, bias of prepositional categorization, diffuseness of borders between prepositions and adverbs.The authors suggest the following solutions for the stated problems:1) quest for the objective criteria to attribute linguistic units to prepositions as a part of speech;2) use of discrete terms to define the units of the kind;3) consideration of prepositional units within a functional grammatical field.","PeriodicalId":140424,"journal":{"name":"RUDN Journal of Russian and Foreign Languages Research and Teaching","volume":"117 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124167758","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The author refers to the classification of phraseological units into “natural” and “conventional” ones, proposed by the Polish researcher St. Skorupka, and proves its relevance to the methodology of teaching native and foreign languages. The need to include phraseological material in the learning process is identified and justified. Characteristic features of the use of phraseology in the process of teaching native and foreign languages are analyzed with the aim to intensify the assimilation of educational material. It is emphasized that the use of phraseological material in teaching native and foreign languages increases the interest of learners to master language and stimulates creative attitude towards it. The specificity of the phraseology of the learned and the learner and the dependence of the quantity and quality of the educational material presented on the level of knowledge of the trainees are taken into account. The “level” approach allows differentiating the appropriateness of the inclusion of phraseology in the learning process. It is no less important to take into account in this process the native language of students: for related languages, this accelerates the learning of the material more than for unrelated ones. The author of the so-called “paremiological minimum”, which is proposed by G.L. Permyakov and became popular in modern phraseology and paremiology. In principle, useful, such a minimum can not be universal for each language due to its variability and dependence on the language level of specific native speakers. In the process of teaching, the development of such a minimum requires differentiation, depending on the methodological goals set by the teacher. Based on the study, the author suggests a number of methods of teaching phraseology for different groups of students. It takes into account both domestic and foreign experience teaching phraseology.","PeriodicalId":140424,"journal":{"name":"RUDN Journal of Russian and Foreign Languages Research and Teaching","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2017-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127972619","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
