In this study, we examine the stability and structural properties of a wide range of nuclei in super- and ultra-heavy region in a phenomenological semi-microscopic approach. we calculated the shell correlation energy, residual pairing correction energy, two-nucleon separation energy and two-nucleon energy gap for 3670 even–even nuclei along [Formula: see text]-stability line and two-neutron driplines in the ranges [Formula: see text] with [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] with [Formula: see text], respectively. To assure reliability and confidence of the new results in the ultra-heavy region, we extended the search space to include heavy and super-heavy nuclei. We report 83 double magic nuclei and address the predominance of proton and neutron magic numbers. Our calculations reproduced known results on nuclear magicity and present strong evidences on islands of stability and magic numbers in super- and ultra-heavy regions. We also address shifts in nuclear magicity along the nuclear landscape close to the [Formula: see text]-stability line and close to the neutron rich regions.","PeriodicalId":14032,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Modern Physics E-nuclear Physics","volume":"18 1","pages":"2150038"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"81677848","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on our calculations, the spin assignments for some states with uncertain spin have been done. Energy spectra, electromagnetic transition probabilities and branching ratios in these isotopes are calculated and compared with available experimental data. The wave functions are analyzed to understand the nuclear structure. In addition, some predictions of levels that have no experimental data are presented such as spin and electromagnetic transitions. Good results were obtained with a decrease in the collectivity properties, especially for the most neutron-deficient isotopes.","PeriodicalId":14032,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Modern Physics E-nuclear Physics","volume":"15 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-04-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"82652352","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Similarity between the yrast band of [Formula: see text]La and those of neighboring [Formula: see text]La, [Formula: see text]Ce was found and interpreted as quasiparticle excitations. PES calculations suggested triaxial deformation for the ground state of 142La. Considerable triaxial and near zero octupole deformations were deduced for the yrast band of [Formula: see text]La by the TRS model calculations. The band-crossing observed in the yrast band of [Formula: see text]La was interpreted to be caused by alignment of the (h[Formula: see text])2 proton pair, and the crossing frequency was best reproduced by the TRS calculations taking into account triaxial deformations. In contrast to the interpretations for the band crossing of [Formula: see text]La, alignments of the (i[Formula: see text])2 neutron pair were found to be responsible for the band-crossing of the yrast band in the neighboring even-N [Formula: see text]La, and triaxial degree of freedom was found to play a more significant role than octupole deformations in the nucleus, although its [Formula: see text] values deduced are large.","PeriodicalId":14032,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Modern Physics E-nuclear Physics","volume":"15 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-04-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"75209694","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

First, optical model analysis is performed and applied to the analyzing powers and reaction cross-sections to extract the optical potential parameters. Then, angular distributions of the differential cross-section are calculated with this potential and compared with the experimental data and normalization coefficients are extracted. Second, a consistent comparison between data sets with similar energies is considered in a minimization process to obtain another set of data normalization coefficients. The two techniques lead to similar normalized values for the existing data and consistently validate a body of low-energy data that can be safely used for further theoretical studies. Furthermore, the systematic behavior and energy dependence of the volume integral are determined as well as the energy dependence of the reaction cross-sections is predicted.","PeriodicalId":14032,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Modern Physics E-nuclear Physics","volume":"1 1","pages":"2150024"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-04-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"79457189","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The supersymmetry quantum mechanics method is used to get the energy spectrum of Schrodinger equation and also the Nikiforov–Uvarov approach is employed to solve analytically the Schrodinger equation in the framework of quantum mechanics. The potentials with centrifugal term include both exponential and radial terms, hence, the Pekeris approximation is considered to approximate the radial terms. By using the step-by-step Nikiforov–Uvarov method, the energy eigenvalue and wave function are obtained analytically. After that, the spectrum of energy is obtained by the supersymmetry quantum mechanics method. The energy eigenvalues obtained from each method are the same. Then in special cases, the results are compared with former result and a full agreement is observed. In the [Formula: see text]-state, the standard Woods–Saxon potential has no bound state, but with Coulomb repulsive interaction, it may have bound state for zero angular momentum.","PeriodicalId":14032,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Modern Physics E-nuclear Physics","volume":"30 1","pages":"2150023"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-04-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89624187","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The calculations are done using Isospin-dependent Quantum Molecular Dynamics (IQMD) model. We also showed that the momentum-dependent interactions have uniform effects of [Formula: see text] and these effects are independent of mass asymmetry of the reaction. Further, we see that isospin effects that enter through the Coulomb and symmetry potential show much significant role as one increases the mass asymmetry of reaction. Mass asymmetric reactions thus serve a sensitive tool to investigate the nuclear symmetry energy effects.","PeriodicalId":14032,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Modern Physics E-nuclear Physics","volume":"3 1","pages":"2150022"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-04-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89610280","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
